I bought this rental home a year ago with a 10 year old roof. The roof started leaking into the house and wasn't in very good shape despite passing home inspection. My husband and I initially started working with RoofTop Designs July 2019. We had a team member, Viktor, come out and provide a free estimate to us. He spent about two hours with us explaining all of our options and even negotiating a price point for us to consider. At that time, we were not in need of the roof replacement as much, so we let Viktor know via email (a few days later) that we were not going to pursue a contract. There was no pressure felt on our end and RoofTop did not hound us for their business in the future. We remembered our positive experience with RoofTop April 2020 (amidst the Covid-19 pandemic) and with the heavy rain and wind experienced in March, felt like we should move forward with a roof replacement. This time, we worked with Steve at RoofTop, completely over phone and email. Steve was responsive, professional, and understanding of the changes to our financial situation given the affects of the pandemic. My husband and I wanted to save as much money as possible and Steve worked with his manager to offer us a price point with a 2% discount if we paid upfront. I signed the contract electronically, mailed the check out on Monday afternoon, we had two contractors drop off the building materials on our roof with a crane on Friday afternoon, and the crew showed up right as they said (at 7:00 am on Saturday) to begin working. They were done around 6:00 pm. I requested extra care be given to the social distancing protocol and the crew obliged. They only knocked on our door to notify at the start of work, and that was it. My husband and I were relieved that we did not encounter too much debris at all in our attic bedroom. We had covered furniture with sheets, and vacuumed afterwards regardless, but only saw a few specks of dust. We were also grateful with how well the crew cleaned up. The only items we found discarded were two nails so far. Currently, we are worried that if there were more nails around our driveway, they can puncture car tires, but so far, we only found two. For the most part, my experience with RoofTop Designs was a positive one, but two days after the job, I received a call from Steve advising that we needed to pay an additional cost (hundreds of dollars more) due to rotting wood needing to be replaced (which the contracts could have only found after they started work) and the fact that we had two layers of shingles on the old roof that needed removal. I did not anticipate these extra charges totaling just shy of $1K (after Steve worked with us again). I wish I had known the extra layer of shingles would have increased our cost from the beginning, but given Covid-19 and the fact that in-home estimates were not an option during social distancing, I was penalized somewhat. All in all, we are grateful for our new roof and comforted that it is under warranty for parts and labor for the next 20 years. read more

We had Rooftop Designs install a new roof, new siding, new windows, and new doors. The salesman was a typical salesman and sold us right into a terrible experience. Would highly NOT recommend. Pros: - Did the work - End result looks great Cons: - Recommended a Predatory Lender for financing (Aqua Finance will put a Lien on your house without cause and with a mail notice). - Customer Service poor (Debbie was not helpful and did not follow up on promises made, salesman was unresponsive after initial sale). - Craftsmanship poor (did not properly wrap the house prior to siding instal, did not know what plumb is when hanging windows, used wrong hardware to install doors). - Craftsman unprofessional (called us liars when we pointed out issues, treated home like job site, threw tools in the garden, stood on our Mini-Split/AC to get on scaffolding. - Huge mess (still finding nails and metal months later) read more

Our salesman RIchard was excellent. He did not stick to a "script", if we did not care, he moved on, yay. The other two companies kept to their script and the process to get to a cost number was extremely long. Were impressed with Richard and what he told us about Rooftop, their training, licenses etc. So we selected them. Our project included the roof and skylight, gutters and another window. The roof and gutters are finished and we are just waiting on the window to be delivered. We signed on 9/02/2021 and had a new roof by 9/22/2021 Next was scheduling. Rooftop scheduled quickly, they reminded us to let our neighbors know, etc. They showed up on time and went to work quickly. It took two days to remove the old roof and put on the new one. It looks great! We've gotten compliments, especially about how professional the workers were and how clean they left the area. Next they scheduled the gutter work again showed up on time and finished. Looks great. A few days after the roof was installed we noticed a pipe that was at a 45 degree angle. We called Rooftop and they cautioned us to get it looked at right away as it may be the furnace pipe and could create a CO2 problem. Without even asking they said, if the problem was caused by them they would take care of it. They gave us a reference and explained the type of company we needed, basically a chimney company. Chimney company came out today and said it was due to age and we needed a new cap and galvanization of the pipe. So we are getting that taken care of now. But how refreshing that Rooftop was concerned about our safety and a possible CO2 issue and it wasn't even caused by them. Rooftop, Mike the operations guy, Richard the sales guy and Candy the office person and of course all the folks who worked on the roof and gutters, all of them, they were amazing. Steve and the guy who was in training were great salesmen. The installation of a sliding door and a storm door went well. The storm door required tweaking a few weeks later to which they responded timely. I gave them 3 stars because they've not lived up to the referral bonus they promised and they won't return calls about it. I'm now wondering if they'll live up to the FREE replacement program. I had several bids from several roofing company Rooftop won me over not because they where the cheapest but because I felt they would do a excellent job and I was not disappointed. Mike Warshaw the salesman , Yanni Avramidis owner always returned your calls the same day and answered your questioned truthful. The installers came in the morning finished the job by the evening work and cleanup awesome. Several days later they came to install the gutters again very please with their work. The owner of this company, Yanni, really does care about his customers. We had a scheduling issue when someone accidentally scheduled us for Monday when they were supposed to be here on Saturday. Yanni was on vacation in Greece yet he still gave me several personal phone calls !! He sincerely wanted to make sure we were taken care of and we sure were. Yanni basically bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. The work that was performed was awesome. They even did some things that were not on the contract for us. The crew, including "Gilberto and his brother in law were so great. They called us outside to inspect there work about every 40 minutes to make sure we were happy. I was convinced that they really only wanted to make sure we were good to go. When they finished the work they cleaned everything up and no chance of any nails left in my driveway. Rooftop Designs just finished installing my roof. I highly recommend Rooftop Designs.  They are a first-class company. From the estimate to the installation was flawless.  The roof is gorgeous! I feel so grateful I selected Rooftop Designs. You really don't need multiple estimates. They offer fair pricing for top-quality work. You can't go wrong with this company. Their crew was remarkable; very talented, professional, hardworking employees. The roof installation was completed within their timeline. It was a large rooftop. They replaced all the decking, repaired several rafters, replaced 3 skylights, installed baffles and CertainTeed Landmark Designer shingles. The installation was done as scheduled - 2 days. The cleanup was like they weren't even here.  They even cleaned up inside under the skylights which I appreciated since I just had wrist surgery and have limited mobility.  The crew was professional respectful and answered any questions I had.  The owner, Yanni, was always available to answer my questions.
