I and others have been left with expensive home systems (panels and battery backup) with no one to service them. EFS won't respond to homeowners. Paul McKnight (owner) doesn't accept calls. We are just told that they don't do residential systems any longer, with zero assistance or advice provided! Warranties on service and equipment are useless! Beware!

I had one unexpected expense which the roof needed reinforcements for the 20 panels. I have been saving 90% of my power costs since. The process went pretty smooth including Ameren's involvement. I since purchased an EV which also charges at my home and was not included in the power consumption estimate they figure out prior to installing. Even with the additional power use due to my car, it is working out great. Electricity costs go up every year so hopefully that saving will go in my pocket.

By the end of the project we were months beyond the plan and he had not obtained proper permits through the electric company nor the city. We are 2 months out from completion and he is not responding to our communications. We are half way through the permitting process and need him to finish. We also have concerns about the angle of install on the panels and believe he either ordered wrong parts or made some other error and installed them too flat.I wish I could recommend this company but I cannot.

Inflates labor charge, doesn't coordinate time with tenant well and charges 6 hours for dead time…read more This company changed some outlets and switches, handy man work since they claimed to be able to handle some easy task since they were already there. 8 hours to build 7 screens and 11 hours to install (1) interior door (5 hour and 6 hour charge). workmanship is very lacking, almost laughable. He removed "portion" of charge for Screens because the work was not acceptable and needs to be redone Originally charged over 4,100. He dropped it to 3,100. for above work (not including any electric work) charge includes home depot run, (Lowes and Home Depot is less than 10 minutes away from property address)
