I did the research on- line and picked 2 companies that had 5-Star ratings One of them never bothered to return my call. (No one should ever be too busy to return a call, even if it's just a quick second to say that they can't do it.) Also, two of our neighbors recommended another company who was very nice, but ultimately, I chose Roof.net. My call was returned within an hour by the owner, then later that same day he came by. He was nice, knowledgeable, and told me that I would have a proposal later that day, which I did. His pricing was slightly better than the other company I got a proposal from, but the deciding factor was that I was dealing with the owner of the company. Ken is very hands-on and he kept in touch with me throughout the process. His team showed up when he said they would (I have found that this is not always the case with contractors), and the day after they finished, we had rain so we got to "test" the new roof right away! read more

Ken definitely knows roofs and he's a top notch sales man. He's very responsive and very fast to quote a job. He repaired our roof a few weeks ago and his team seemed to do a good job. There was a bit of a mess left behind, but not enough for me to complain. However, he never went up on the roof to inspect it - not the most responsible way to assess damage in my opinion. My largest complaint is that he offers people money off their bill to give him a 5-star review. In fact, he pressures people into it. If you're really that proud of and confident of your work, let the work speak for itself. Don't bribe people into leaving a 5-star review on social media!! It he hadn't pressured me, I would have left no comment, because he pressured me I'm leaving my honest review. I noticed a roof leak in my master bedroom after the recent thunderstorm on July 3rd. Did a quick search on roof repairs and found roof.net on yelp. Called Ken in the evening. He told me that he would look at the roof the next morning. He showed up as promised and did an infrared scan of the roof to pinpoint the leak. I got an estimate in next 30 minutes. My experience with roof.net and Ken was very positive. After I called them, they had someone come out and inspect my roof the same day and I received via email a SOW and quote that afternoon. The work was completed the next day and the crew chief showed me photos of before and after for all work. This process started when I found a shingle on my deck weeks earlier. Another roofing company, which had done good work for me at my previous house, determined that I had a loose shingle (the one on my deck came from the townhouse next door), but they also said I needed a new roof, which was surprising since this house was built in 2002-2003.
