I first contacted Ken from Roof,net when I was purchasing my home and my home inspector mentioned that my roof was not in good shape. I requested an estimate from Ken and he promptly gave me a written estimate and even came to look at my roof first despite the fact that I told him I hadn't even bought the house yet. He was honest and told me the roof probably still had another 2 years or so left on it and I was able to use his estimate in negotiations with the seller. Ken gave me a very competitive price for upgraded architectural shingles and was able to schedule my roof replacement much sooner than I had anticipated. He explained everything clearly when we spoke, as well as on the estimate. No surprises. The crew arrived early, laid out tarps, finished the roof in a matter of hours (townhouse), disposed of all the waste, and cleaned up. They even had a "spotter" on the ground watching out for anyone passing underneath so I was able to take the dog out without worrying about dodging debris. They did a great job. I got a new roof installed and was very concerned that it would be installed correctly. I had previous problems with leaks and wanted to find a roofer that I could rely on and trust. I did the research, but I was still cautious from my previous experiences. I have to say, the owner Ken was great. He was responsive to my concerns. The roof looks good. The gutter was damaged during the roof installation and Ken promptly address it and replaced the gutter that was damaged. He made sure personally that the gutter was installed correctly. I appreciate the personal dedication Ken showed in making sure the roof was completed as agreed and promptly addressed any concerns. My initial replacement date was rained out so I was promptly rescheduled for the following week. Luckily, this was right before a winter storm was coming through the area. I went on a trip to come back home to find a leak in my upstairs room. If there was a way to give 10 stars on all aspects of this project I would....really a perfect 10 performance....from pre-sales, performing the roof replacement to quality assurance and post project followup...Ken and his team just didn't meet the obligations but went so much further. Ken has assembled a quality team of roofing "artisans"....I had a roof of nearly 30 years and have been dreading this roof replacement for far too long, I am soo happy to have chosen Ken and his team, they really went so far beyond what was required in the contract. In the end, I had to have 15 sheets of wood replaced and despite all this work, they finished in just 4 hours....which is shocking to me but clearly a testament to how well his artisans work exceptionally well together....and even more shocking, they repaired a broken gutter, replaced additional rotted trim/wood and also fixed an area on my soffit where a raccoon had broken into the attic, repaired/repainted my furnace flue(looks like new now) and painted all the vents...at no cost...they just did it....and they still finished by noon! I was looking for quick and honest repair work to my roof from a recent storm which had blown off a 10x4ish area of shingles completely off. As I looked through yelp, there was almost no Roof repair companies that had more than 3 stars. I then came across roof.net that had the most amount of reviews and 5 stars. Ken, the owner has done a spectacular job of handling the repair work on my roof. Last night I got a slightly panicked call from my wife while I was working, letting me know that a kitchen ceiling light fixture was leaking water all over the table below. My heart sank. We had been planning to have someone come out and take a look at our aging roof for sometime but I had never gotten around to it. After significant research and following up with various roofers, it was very clear to me that Ken was the roofer we should contact.
