5 years ago, they helped replace a skylight due to leaking. 6 mths after installation, it leaked again. They helped fix it afterwards, I was so grateful and relieved. Now 3 years later, it leaked all over again. Had to put a tarp on it most of last year, which was super frustrating. I originally called about a suspected leak, because of a noise I heard during heavy rains. Kelly came out to take a look at it the same day and took care of it (cracked vent) the same week. We talked about putting on a new roof. It was not a project I wanted to tackle before moving, but Kelly's proposal was very reasonable and the project was done within the month. Communication with the contractor is extremely difficult !!! They lie over and over again. They do not care about the customers, but rather try to access how naive the customer is in order to maximize their pocket. First they asked me to text them all the photos, and I did that. They then asked me to call them immediately, which I responded I had coming meetings and could not call them right away. I asked them to text me their questions, and they lied that they were driving (aka driving and texting at the same time). I called them again in the afternoon, and they gave me a F.U. that they were busy going to a concert, and told me finding someone else. read more

Outstanding to say the least. Kelly and Jacob are an amazing team and helped me get one step closer to having my dream home. I recently purchased a home and found an old brick chimney being supported by nothing but some old 2x4s. Needless to say, I had to get it removed and my roof patched. They brought the chimney down to roof level and I did the rest for the chimney, but they patched and did some additional work while on site. Gave Kelly a call the day we decided to remove the old (unstable) chimney and they came out the same day to check things out. The next week, the roof was patched and they helped me patch a few other old vents needed for my bathrooms and vent pipe. I asked in the middle of the job and they did it no problem! They were kind, reliable, and most of all did a great job. Communication was also a 10/10 for these guys as they're incredibly responsive. We lost a few shingles in a windstorm in mid-November. I called and was told they could get to it on Nov. 29 or 30. The owner was driving and asked me to text details. He asked me to text photos and we exchanged a total of 18 subsequent texts, I thought we were set. Nobody showed up on the 29th. On the 30th, I texted again and the owner acted like he'd never heard of me. I let him know I'd be leaving the country but that he could talk to my wife. He said he couldn't get to it "until this next Thursday or Friday." I get back 2 weeks later, and nothing has happened. I texted again asking what was up and have gotten no response. I understand and respect that contractors get busy. I can understand perhaps not wanting to take on a small job, or perhaps a job outside his ordinary geographic range. But a simple "sorry, we can't help you" is the appropriate response. I could have moved on and gotten the work done by now if that was the case. read more

About 3 secs. after he stepped off the top of his ladder, he was able to begin diagnosing my roof's issues - from poor original installation, to wear, to problems I exacerbated by having moss removed via pressure-washing (a big no-no, I've now learned). I really want to thank Kelly for the fantastic repair job he did for my roof. He responded to my request the day of, and came over to my house to diagnose the problem. When he came over, I showed him the leak on my ceiling. Kelly went to the attic and started diagnosing the problem and quickly found out what was wrong -- and not only did he see the source of my current leak, he also saw a spot that is almost about to leak. He did all those diagnosis for free, and told me how much it would be to repair the issue (the price was very reasonable!) When he came over to do the repair, he did a very thorough job with the repair. In addition, he taught me a lot about the condition of my roof and knowledge about roofs in general. Lastly, he saw that some other parts of my roof might be developing the same issue, and helped me take some preventable actions (i.e. add extra caulking etc) for those areas too free of charge. I am so thankful for finding this company when we were in need of some random roof repair. Kelly came out the same day I spoke with him on the phone, I mean within hours. I really appreciated him being able to get over her such last minute. I had a General contracting company come out the day before. They had given me a bid that was ridiculous, not to mention that company never even went on the roof to actually look at the job. Should have been a big red flag for me! I've had a very small leak in my roof for a few years that finally go bad enough that I had to do something about it. It used to leak outside and discolor the siding a bit but under last winters heavy snows the water found a way inside. I wasn't ready for a new roof for a few more years so I looked for a repair. After the storms we had couple weeks ago I got a call from one of my tenants. Water was dripping from the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom of her unit, Not good news on a Monday morning! I immediately got on Yelp in search of roof repair close by. Based on recent 5 star reviews I called up Roof Service Repair. The voice on the other end of the phone was polite and friendly. Kelly told me would be out ASAP. He was at the unit in a little over an hour and called my phone right away. He sent pictures to my phone of the roof in its current condition. The wind had stripped away patches of shingles and opened a number of places where water was draining through. One vent had been completely ripped away, leaving a gaping hole. I was out and he couldn't reach me immediately for approval, so he attached plastic sheet to cover the bad areas to stop any further damage. After we talked and I gave approval for the work, he was able to get back and complete the repair within 2 days. As first-time homeowners, (with a leak happening on the day we moved in), he took pity on us and patiently explained how to fix our problem ourselves. vIt's hard to find a good, honest repair person nowadays so I was extremely glad to have found Kelly with Roof Service Repair. Kelly was honest in his bid, quoting only the work that needed to be done and not trying to slip in additional unnecessary work (unlike another bid I got where a repair quote turned into a whole roof replacement quote). He was slow in response sometimes but kept his appointments when he made them. His work was excellent, very high quality and the price was very reasonable.
