RoofWorks did an excellent job on my gutter cleaning and I was not required to be at home. The next morning it rained and I thought there was a problem with the gutters, but my wife told me is was the rainwater flowing through the gutters. Apparently the last year's service company did not clean the gutters and the water was not flowing. Sam gave me an estimate that was reasonable. I highly recommend them and will be sure to use them again net year. read more

RoofWorks installed the gutters on my new house. Kevin and Jeff were the choice of our GC and seemed to have done a decent job based on their own design and spec. Then it rained. Multiple times. The north side of our house was instantly flooded, water coming through the windows that were opened (that was the end of open windows) and the gutter system failed miserably. Roof size / gutter and downspout capacity were not aligned. Nick, one their team members, was onsite and quickly diagnosed the problem to be downspout positioning (one of the two basically useless) and suggested they add a third one. From there it has been months (!) of chasing Kevin and Jeff. Replying to emails was not working and with voicemails that are full and not accepting additional messages, it was quite challenging. After GC stepped in, I was given a quote for gutters screen (an upgrade I requested) and the additional downspout that was needed. After *three* months of chasing them, the first installation date they would offer is three months out. Total of six months!! My expectation that they cover the cost of the downspout that they have failed to install in the right place in the beginning and recommended I add after the fact was flat out rejected. The ugliness of this company came straight out in blaming me for the mistake (the newly found gutter specialist). Then claiming their team member should have never recommended it and that it was not the problem. Going on and on about all of the various reasons it is my responsibility and not theirs. Many thousands of dollars of a project. $150 fix (paid to someone else who did it in ~30 minutes of work). Losing you good name, integrity and reputation like this reflects on the company, leadership and quality of work (or lack thereof) you can expect from RoofWorks Northwest. The images are of the actual one way email communications I had with them for ~3 months. As well as the latest reply I refined. I had two other vendors take a look at the fix, add the gutters screen protectors (additional business) and do the job in les than a week. I'd go with either of them - or many others - before RoofWorks Northwest. They are not worthy of your business and evidently, won't be there for you after. read more

Roof Works needs 10 Stars in my book. We had a situation with the roof on our new home leaking into our dining area, twice. Builder's roofer put on a couple of band aids and never fixed the problem. Builder would not stand behind their roofer, so to stop the constant leaking I was off to find a roofer. I read reviews on yelp for Roof Works, and saw the one star review from "Ran" and Sam's response. I knew right then that Roof Works was my company, an owner that stands up for the quality of their work. Sam and I hit it off, he is a straight shooter, no BS, backs his work and met his time line at the price quoted. The other roofer's I contacted could not even come up with any ideas . Sam came up with a solution and it was a major project. It was not cheap but quality work never is, the issue was a major design flaw, so when my neighbors roofs start to fail we'll be dry as a desert. Since then Sam and Roof Works make sure my roof is checked, cleaned and treated every spring. During the bomb cyclone, we lost a bunch of limbs from the 100 ft. trees on our property. We had intermittent cell service that night but as the storm roared I sent Sam a text asking to be put on his schedule to check my roof, clean and treat it. First thing the next morning I get text from Todd (he's the man) stating he would be at our home in 20 minutes. He cleaned the roof, pulled off a bunch of limbs, cleaned the gutters and put down more moss protection. The big thing was Todd found and repaired a hole in the roof from a limb, saving us potential interior damage. Sorry to be so wordy, usually negative reviews are the longest. I can't tell you to use Roof Works, but it's your loss, missing out on a great company with an awesome owner and wonderful staffing. Can't say enough about them, we are customers for life. read more

I'm going to be mostly positive here, as Sam tends to respond negatively to criticism. Pros- the crew is great! Came out quickly twice for emergency leak repairs on an old roof. I was arranging financing for a full replacement but in the meantime, they saved the building from further damage. They even came out in the snow. Price for repairs was reasonable. Cons- the "office" side of the business needs to work on communication and over-promising what can be accomplished. Financing with them fell through, but I believe that was out of their control. Except for the emergencies, it took several calls and emails to get any response. Overall, I do recommend RoofWorks, just be aware that you may need to plan way ahead. read more

We bought our home new, 20 years ago and the 3-tab asphalt roof was ready to be replaced. We invited several bids for the work and in the end we were most impressed with RoofWorks Northwest - it was immediately apparent they knew and understood roof mechanics, materials and installation. As the fellow walked our roof, he described what he was seeing, commenting on various aspects of the framing and construction of our roof; he compared that to what they have seen elsewhere - he also used the homes adjacent to ours as examples, noting materials used and the quality of installation. From that conversation, it was pretty clear to me these guys don't just install roofing, they take pride in their work. I knew what work needed to be done, what our options were and the estimate arrived by e-mail a day later. The work was impressively coordinated - between the arrival of the crew, site preparation, delivery of the construction dumpster and materials - everything was handled with remarkable efficiency. By the end of the first day, the old roof and gutters were removed and the new gutters were installed. By the end of day two, the new roof, new gable trim and skylights were installed, and everything cleaned up and removed. There was one follow-up trip to install a couple pieces of flashing. Overall workmanship is impressive. The new roof looks great and, we've since had a couple of pretty wet, rainy days -- even by western WA standards -- with no signs of leakage. In the end, I'm pleased with our selection of materials and installer. The bid was spot on and competitive with other installers. Bottom line: terrific value and we're 100% satisfied. If you're looking to replace your roof, I recommend having these guys on your list. read more

We had some skylight domes ripped off our metal roof when the recent snowfall started to slide off. In an act of desperation we called 5 companies trying to get someone to come out on a Saturday morning to do emergency repairs. Roofworks actually called back that morning and had someone our here 45 minutes later. I thought they were nuts when they went walking all over our snow covered roof to prevent any more snow sliding into the skylight domes. Their temporary repair has withstood some wind and kept what little rain we have seen from coming in the holes we currently have in our roof. We are currently waiting on the replacement roofing to arrive (50' long panels) but their bid was in line with the insurance company's estimate so we do not forsee any problems. read more

I really like working with Sam and RoofWorks NW, they are great! Sam and his crew just figured out a persistent roof leak for me. What I appreciated most about Sam was he told me he didn't want to just rip up a huge portion of my roof to fix the leak. Through some creative problem solving we were able to pinpoint where the leak was and fix a much smaller portion of the roof. He was super responsive, helpful and got the leak fixed, what more can you ask for. I will definitely be using RoofWorks NW when I need a new roof, which unfortunately sounds like its soon. Our new house started leaking in the master bathroom during the recent deluge. I called a couple of roofers, who never picked up the phone. RoofWorks answered, and made an appointment for a roof tech to come at 8:00 the next morning. The tech showed up right on time, and found the leak, which was a cracked plumbing vent boot. I emailed RoofWorks Northwest after the wind storm of March 2017 freed an unused satellite dish from the roof of my house - taking several shingles with it. They responded with a request for some pictures of the damage in order to match the materials. They contacted their suppliers and matched the shingles perfectly. They came by and did the repair and emailed me an invoice. Done! Prompt, no worries roof repair at a decent price. Doesn't get much better than that. read more

We had several bids to replace the aging roof on our home in Snohomish. Sam at Roofworks NW was the only bidder who made sure to do his inspection when I was home so he could talk with me and answer my questions. The other bidders came when we were not home and simply emailed their final price. Sam's inspection was very thorough. He pointed out several issues that the other bidders had not mentioned, including areas of OSB on the roof edges that had become water saturated. He also pointed out an area where the roof slopes down against the house and this had caused damage to siding. He came up with good solutions for both of these problems. This type of pre-inspection is critical, as it identifies problems early and allows for more accurate planning/pricing rather than having these problems get discovered during the roofing and then trying to negotiate a price for additional work. - Sam and Kevin were very good communicators. They explained the process carefully and were always available for questions. - Sam was able to help me figure out the optimal type of shingle for our project. I did not feel any pressure to choose higher end shingles. - Pricing was in the middle of the road between the four bids but I feel like I got a good value (especially since the lower bids would likely have increased in cost when the issues above where discovered). - This is a smaller operation and I think this gives Roofworks Northwest an edge, as they offer much more personalized service. I am big fan of supporting small businesses. -The crew kept the worksite very tidy and they cleaned up every day. Kevin (the crew leader) was very thorough and detail oriented throughout the process of roof removal and replacement. -Roofworks Northwest is a certified Owens Corning installer and that added some peace of mind for the the installation and warranty. - The finished product looks even better than I imagined. Sam / RoofWorks were amazing! We woke up to a leak in one of our bathrooms and they were able to send someone out the same day to take a look (within a couple of hours, really!). They replaced a broken plastic vent and told us to keep on eye on it and let them know if we have any more problems. I highly recommend RoofWorks Northwest they are honest, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. I have a PVC flat roof that needed new down spouts. This is a unique job and most companies told me they couldn't replace them and that I needed to replace the entire roof. Sam reached out to me and said he loves jobs like this and would be happy to help. Sam cut out, replaced & made the surrounding area drain more efficiently and discovered a previous leak. He also inspected the rest of my roof and chimney and found a few other areas that needed attention. I was as concerned with two other possible leaks and he found the source. He sent out Toby his partner who specializes in the type of flashing I had & enjoys unique jobs also. Toby did an amazing job replacing the flashing so it wouldn't cut into my roof, repaired the roof and upgraded my front flashing on my roof.
