My mother in law locked herself out of her car, I called a few locksmith's near where she was, Carlsbad, but unfortunately the wait time was over an hour and one of them wouldn't go out until 3pm, three hours later. In my industry we call this kind of installer a Hack! He was vey high priced to start for changing 9 door handle/ locks but I didn't really want to do it myself and as a tradesman I can appreciate that you get what you pay for. It is now Easter evening and I just got done fixing the third lock I HAVE HAD TO REPAIR since install. Screws are stripped and misaligned, left a giant screw sticking out of my security door. Then to top it off on install day he came to my house, gave me a quote, and then when I went to pay he tried to up his quote $125 dollars. Should have just done it myself. As many have said here, he was fast but it seems to me he should have taken a little more time to do the job right. I paid for quality not speed. read more
