We couldn't decide from the awesome choices but I finally decided on Carne Al carbon tacos and beef nachos and my husband got the chicken fajita quesadilla. OMG we haven't eaten here since we first started dating in 2021 and it was mid. This time it was absolutely amazing. So amazing that everything looked so good and we forgot to take a picture. But trust me when I say every flavor was on point. We argued about who's driving home so the other can sleep. Thank you for an amazing date night filled with good food, good vibes, great service and amazing food.

One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the capitol region. The food was flavorful, spicy,…read moreand delicious in all the right ways. Upon arrival you'll receive complimentary chips and salsa. It was fresh as the chips were warm and I could taste the fresh ingredients in the salsa. We ordered the carne asada and the Baja tacos (and the enchiladas verdes to go based on hot good the food was). The carne asada was fantastic, and it came with rice, beans, and tortillas. The Baja tacos were delicious and came with a super spicy sauce (they did have a lot of onions which was my only drawback). We ended the night with a special strawberry tres leches for Valentine's Day. It's not something I would have typically ordered but I do love tres leches and this did not disappoint - it was amazing. All in all excellent food you'll be glad you came for the food! A few other notes- the inside of the restaurant is pretty and draws on what I've seen in other Mexican restaurants. Staff were so friendly and had the perfect balance of checking in with us to letting us eat our meal. There is a small bar area that is separate from the dining area. Street parking only but there seemed to be plenty of spots. However, I would try to park as close as possible to the restaurant as the neighborhood itself didn't seem like the greatest. We had no issues during our experience but just something to consider. Overall I really liked this place and will definitely return!

LOL what the heck. This place is my Californian dream. In Los Angeles, they say that you find the…read morebest Mexican street food in the worst of places. Although the Capital Region has barely any Mexican street food places, I think this one takes the cake. I love that it's hidden behind a bus stop on the corner of Central and North Allen. I love that you need to walk through a narrow hallway to order and that you have to speak Spanish because no one in there speaks English. It reminds me of brighter days... literally, brighter... in a place with actual sunlight. The walls are orange: perfect. There are random boxes of avocadoes and other grocery store items scattered throughout the dining area: hilarious. The entire menu is in Spanish, so as long as you can point, you can order. The music, the broken TV, the fact that the cashier was scrolling through Instagram as she checked me out and talked on the landline phone and asked me if I wanted anything else, all in Spanish: great. Let's be real. This place gets 5 stars for memories of the SW USA. It gets 5 stars for being completely authentic. If there was a similar place in the area, I likely wouldn't award 5 stars but I felt completely transported into hopefully a version of Mexico that I was very pleased. The tortillas are not perfect. The presentation is definitely perfect and traditional with onions, cilantro, radishes, and hot sauce. You can get lengua tacos. Good luck finding those closer than 100 miles from here. Check it out if you want something very different from what you're used to, but go with an open mind. This isn't a 5-star place, but it's a 5-star experience and I'm very grateful for its presence in the area.

So heads up for three kids quesadillas a burrito and a set of three tacos and 5 drinks we spent…read moreover $100. Was not ready for the kids food which was mentioned was off menue to cost as much as regular adult orders. Honestly a bit absurd. For that cost and what we received we won't be back. The tortillas for my tacos fell apart while eating them the doubling it up isn't holding it together. The kids - who love quesadillas- were not interested in these at all which sucks for the price you pay. The three small tacos I received were ok. My husbands burrito was also just ok. We really wanted to like this place, we love this type of food and the branding they have is so fun! It just didn't do it for us.

I was in the mood for a quesadilla so I decided to give Tacos Diablo a try…read more With that known, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was fine. To explain, the tortilla was fresh and cooked perfectly. However, the quesadilla was very thin and didn't have much in it. The only thing inside the quesadilla was chicken and cheese which led to it being a bit dry. The quesadilla definitely needed some type of sauce. At least the chicken itself was flavorful and tender. That being said, it was simply an average quesadilla. To be brief, Tacos Diablo has acceptable quesadillas, but they are nothing special.
