Ronco Trailers just made my day!!! Thank you so much for helping to fix my bike rack. These guys are awesome. They didn't hesitate to have me come in and assess the issue. It was an easy mystery fix and the rack is now functional. I had damaged it in a steep driveway and it wouldn't fold up anymore. I had bought it and got it installed at a Uhaul but they wouldn't even call me back to look at it. This weekend I have a big MS fundraising ride coming up and now I'm a lot safer on the road. I love supporting local businesses especially when they have great people working there. Thank you again for stepping up and taking care of me. read more

Took my utility trailer in for service and they fixed me up with new correct rims and tires and repacked the axles, replaced the boat hubs with dry land hubs. Quick service, nice guy, too! Will visit again next time I need trailer stuff! read more

Ronco trailers is a hidden Gem. I have purchased two trailers from them for our fleet and it's been a breeze. And then to top it off we have them servicing all our remaining trailers. If you are looking for the go to all around best trailer place in north county look no further. read more

Brought my truck in for my trailer light connection at the hitch not working. The service was very fast and just required replacing a couple fuses. They insisted on not charging for the service. Great customer service!!! Thank you!!!! read more

I was refered to Ronco by my brother in law to get some work done on my 500 gl smoker trailer, rusted hinges etc. The repairs were done faster than expected and the quality of work was beyond my expectation. I was so impressed I brought my horse trailer in for some repairs too, again their work outstanding and price very fair. For the quality and honesty they could charge more, these guys are straight shooters and very reasonably priced, in fact I was the 1000th customer and I received 1/2 off my bill! I would strongly recommend Ronco for any trailer service or sales. read more

Excellent service and return time. I'll go back to them for all of my trailer repair needs. Honest and reliable!! read more

Had some electrical work that needed to be done to my trailer. I was able to get an immediate response, got everything done and more. Great customer service amazing turnaround time. I recommend this place to anyone who needs welding, electrical or wants to purchase a new trailer. read more

Very happy with my purchase of a 6.5x12' Carson trailer. Ronco trailers had a large selection of trailers to choose from including the size I wanted. Walking through their shop I could tell Ronco Trailers is well supplied to support sales and maintenance of trailers. Within two days I made the purchase, had electric breaks installed as well as tie down hooks and was using the trailer to transport items. The sales team provided great advice on trailer options and answered many of my questions related to pulling a trailer. David M. read more

I have a 2024 travel trailer I purchased new from a dealer. Last week I serviced the hubs and discovered my front right electric brake was not functioning. The brake pads, magnet and drum lining looked nearly brand new. I do not believe it worked leaving the factory. I completed the repair on my own. Since this was the first time I've serviced hubs, I wanted someone to check my work. I searched the web and located Ronco Trailers and service. I called and spoke to Enzo. He had availability right away (unlike the trailer dealership). I took the trailer to their shop (easy to get to and plenty of space to maneuver). Enzo checked the brake system and explained how the system functioned. I offered to pay for his time, but he refused. Bottom line was that I received great service and left with a much better understanding of a critical system on my trailer. Next time I need trailer service or parts, I will go to Ronco. read more

The new owners are awesome. Had some needed repairs on my dump trailer and they fixed everything fast and well.

New owners!! Problems solved. They delivered my trailer to my business for me. Really great guys, ready put clients first. Great trailers too. read more

I've read the complaints about the owners attitude and demeanor . Ok, so he's a little rough around the edges. I found some common ground , struck up a nice conversation and got a good deal when all the other dealers in OC and IE were sold out . Be nice to him, talk about how great Chevy trucks are and you'll be happy in the end. Not all small business owners who operate one-man shops are able to give you "Nordstrom" service. They are just trying to make a buck and survive . Help a small business owner . p.s. Respect his orange cones and park outside his lot. The lot is small and there's not enough room for customer vehicles . You can drive in to pickup your trailer once the paperwork is completed. read more

Drove 45 minutes to buy a trailer standing there with cash and the salesman tells me he's to busy to write up order, can I come back in two hours. WOW read more

I have been dealing with these guy for years and have never received anything but a fair price and good product. It sounds like from the other reviews the orange cones are the perfect deterrent. If you appreciate a face to face transaction with a proper discussion with an expert on what you are purchasing you cant go wrong. and if you carry a money clip you can save a buck or two as well. Stop thinking anyone is required to sell you anything, the beautiful thing of being the owner of a company that produces a high demand, quality product is that he doesn't have to put up with your bs. keep doing what your doing, it is appreciated read more

These guys were great to deal with. They were patient and understanding and helped me through the process of buying a trailer, without being pushy. read more

Unfortunately we didn't see the other poor reviews prior to visiting this business so if you are BEWARE. The owner is horrible ! They advertise with offering financing and had us schedule an appojnt. when my husband mentioned it when he got there they said they "don't do that right now" and told him he could go somewhere else. AFTER my husband had already left the owner had the audacity to call him and tell him the trailer was just sold and not to come back! Either this old man is a miserable prejudice person or it's all a facade because he obviously doesn't want real business. read more

Bought a great Carson Trailer. Noticed after purchased it did not have any d rings as described. Called the owner and tells me it's 200 to install them. Then goes off and calls me a knucklehead. Seriously after you took thousands in a sale. Go somewhere else. read more

Super rude. I pulled up to where the trailers were. There were orange cones all across the drive through. I saw several parking spots out front of an industrial building none of which I could see Roncos name so I called. A male answered "trailer sales". I said hi are you guys open today? He said yes. I said oh I saw the orange cones and wasn't sure. He said there were 30 parking spots out front...one of those should work for you". It wasn't so much what he said but how he said it. Very condescending attitude as if to imply I was an idiot. I've never been here before. Well I laughed and said "that's nice" and I said goodbye and he said "uh huh". Needless to say I didn't even go in and I was prepared today to get some help and possibly buy a trailer but they can rot in hell before I'll give them my business. Treat prospective customers with respect if you want to sell your product. read more

great guy great service he has marked prices to where he makes a fair profit .....if you know what you want he is your man ...if you are there to beat him up on pricing go somewhere else ...he is very smart and will give you a product that you will feel comfortable with. I have purchased a lot of trailers and will always get the one I want ......thanx for being a great company read more

All prices advertised on craigslist require you to pay green cash. If not add more then 6% to the price, plus sales tax which must be also paid in green cash. The owner Ron pretends to just be an employee and claims the company pays an 8% processing fee to take credit cards. They won't budge and it's a bait and switch operation. I will take my business to a more reputable spot. read more

This company is horrible, I've been researching for about 6 months to get a nice trailer for my family to tow a new polaris. I called last week stating what I wanted and if they told me they have it in stock So I asked the man by the name of RJ who was very short , disrespectful and disingenuous said I don't quote prices and it's meaningless to email. Well mr idiot......half of America emails for business transactions and you should get with the times. It's really unfortunate because I wanted to buy today and this person was so rude blew it . Iam going to tell all my coworkers and friend never to do business with this company. Unfortunately they do have good product, however with his ttitude he belongs in the back put trailers together vs dealing with the public. read more

They don't answer their phone and they're not open when they claim to be open. I have travelled a distance 6 times to make another purchase, but the gate is locked and no phone response. On their website they say that they don't like to make deals over the phone so "just come on in". Well, I've done that. Their lights are on and you can hear them working but they refuse to acknowledge that I'm at the gate with a handful of money. It's a shame because they carry quality trailers. I have purchased two trailers from them over the years. I don't know why they claim to be in business but in fact are not! read more

They helped me with the not only details of getting the right trailer. The trailer i purchased is beyond quality! 10000% recommendation. The staff is professional, courteous, and product is top! read more

Never even got in the door. Got here on a Tuesday at 9 am because that's when the website said they open. Waited for a half an hour and no one came. Could be great trailers but I'll never know...thanks for wasting my time...Call before you go here. read more

I've purchased 3 trailers from this family operation in the past 10 years, and have been extremely happy with the craftsmanship and durability throughout the years; they last! So when I decided to take on another hobby (jet skiing), I knew I needed a trailer. I went in last week to see if they sell jet ski trailers but was kind of bummed when I found out that they don't sell watercraft trailers. So I purchased one elsewhere. After looking at the quality between the two, Ronco trailers are built much better! Hopefully they will consider watercraft trailers in the future. read more

Trailer towed great this past weekend. Love the build quality! The staff was straight forward and didn't bs me at all. You get what you pay for here folks. Sure it might be slightly higher... But it was well worth it in my opinion. You never want to have trailer issues, do yourself a favor and at least check out what they have in their lot and compare to anyone else in sd.. You won't regret it.. And the staff is happy to answer any questions. read more

I agree with the earlier post that their website pricing is "Bait & Switch"...the pictures on their site show the "Heavy Duty" product, but the pricing is for the "basic models"...I will say the product seems to be of good quality and I am happy with my purchase. read more

These trailers are built so much better than the crap you find at Trailers Plus etc.... Jared the manager is super nice, honest and knowledgeable. Buyer Beware! Ronco Trailers is a bait and switch operation. All of the prices shown on their lot are more than what is advertised on their site. I was looking for a 5X8 trailer as shown on their site. When I arrived, I was told the 5x8 trailer they had for sale at that price was a broken-down wreck of a trailer and the ad was for the broken-down one despite what is on their site for landscape trailers. read more

The trailer is well made. I knows I was buying a budget trailer, but when I got back to my house $1,400 later, I realized the painter should be fired. They use the cheapest Home Depot paint possible, without painting the under carriage, leaving exposed metal and wood that would rot within a month. In result, I had to remove all the wood, paint it correctly, and re-install everything just so I could get my moneys worth. read more

just bought a great trailer from these guys, good price, nice build quality product
