The whole staff is extremely helpful. Today coming back from camping we stopped to buy a new door lock since our dead bolt lock did not work anymore. Steven & Jamie made sure that it fitted & suggested to install it before going home. Good thing... The door plate had to be cut a notch and a little shaving to insert the whole unit . Great family owned RV repair business with stellar customer service. I had them change the oil on my class B generator and they did it very quickly. When I got it home and tested it, I found I could not start the rooftop AC unit. I called them up and he had me bring it right away and diagnosed and solved the problem on the spot! The problem had nothing to do with the generator work, but was just a weird coincidence. I appreciate a company that goes the extra mile and provides this level of service. Unfortunately, it is VERY rare these days. I appreciate these guys and will be back for other RV service. read more

Brought my trailer in for fridge analysis and other issues and was assured I could have it back in 2 weeks. Called after a week. Out to lunch and would call back. Never did. Called after 10 days. Needed new fridge. Luckily it was "in stock". Called after 2 weeks-fridge on order and crew out to lunch. I picked up the trailer with old fridge which still worked. I saw a lot of really good reviews, and was fairly confident that this was a reputable business. I was very disappointed. At first we got immediate feedback as to what needed to be fixed on our camper, and a quote for about how much it would all cost. During the repairs, they were extremely unresponsive. No updates on how the repairs were going or on what they were working on, and when we called they were very unclear about what was going on. When we finally got our travel trailer back, it was over $500 the quoted price. I understand that it's not going to be exact, but I don't appreciate the lack of communication and how the whole experience felt underhanded. To further the situation, a couple of the employees were extremely rude to my husband and made some snide remarks when he went to pick up our travel trailer (we had called right before picking it up). Our trailer was left dirtier and dustier than when we had originally dropped it off. Good communication and customer service is key to a good business. Overall I didn't feel like they had the care and well being of my camper in mind. I understand businesses are struggling because of COVID, and have been extremely busy as a result, but customer service is something that should not be affected by COVID. I will not be giving them my business again, and have told several people who would have used them to find a different business. UPDATE Everything we had done to our camper to "fix it" did absolutely nothing. Halfway into our cross country move the slide out will not go out and half of the electrical is failing. We are stranded halfway across the country with no electricity with three kids and a dog. Knowing that all they did was reset the electrical system and reset a breaker, I think they could have done a better job at investigating the problem. But what do I know. read more

Sunrise RV fixed all the repairs we needed on our RV in a timely manner. In fact, I was asked when I needed it back. That's a first. Our bedroom slide has been repaired three times over the past 5 years by other RV shops and Sonrise got it fixed perfectly. It's never worked so quietly or effortless. We had quite few items to be repaired or just looked at and all were addressed. We were called a few times with options on repairs. We were treated like appreciated customers. had leaking hydraulic jack hose. they required $140 to give me an estimate for repair. The estimate for repair was $1000 to $1500. Sounded to much and found another repair shop that fixed it for $158.00 read more

This place is amazing. I've taken my trailer for repairs here a few times. They are spot on for diagnosing and fixing. Their customer service is supreme. They fixed my trailer brakes and told me not to pay them until they were fully functioning. They were also good enough to do some work on warranty that I didn't know about. And they didn't charge me for it! They make you feel very welcome and that you are very important to them. read more

So I drive down there with my trailer from Menifee,Ca to their shop in Escondido, talk with the guy tell them exactly what I wanted repaired, a minor fiberglass damage hole per the guy and a line down the side which wasnt a concern either according to him. I asked for additional repair work to be done on a slide out seal. They ask how long I can leave, I said take your time, I wasnt planning a trip that month. They said they needed two weeks for everything. My wife called to check on it they said it's ready when can we get it. The next day my wife and her dad drive down to pick it up as I was working and the trailer wasn't repaired completely leaving the line down the side and said they missed it. However we couldn't leave it because they have five more customers coming and mine is taking up space, wtf. So they want me to bring the trailer back to them again so they can fix it later. Thats bad business, a waste of my time and fuel and for sure not feeling like a customer they care about. read more

The saga continues. In April of 2017 (see review) I had Sonrise do some work which I explained in my previous review. During that service I also had them perform routine A/C maintenance which includes removing the A/C cover, cleaning and changing the filters. Since it was April we had no need to use the A/C and frankly, I guess I should have tested it before leaving their shop but I was so upset with the way I was treated, I just wanted to get out of there. Here we are 3 months later, and the A/C was necessary. Upon trying to kick on the A/C kept blowing hot air. Since my family used to be in the home HVAC business decades ago, it sounded like the unit was building up head pressure but was not kicking on. I had no idea about RV A/C units and ended up calling a mobile mechanic (Brent from Affordable RV). Luckily Brent was able to come out the next day and inspect the A/C unit. Upon arrival, he found the A/C breaker had tripped. Upon testing discovered blower fan came on & compressor fan kicked in. Ran for ~ 10 min. & A/C shut down on its own due to high head pressure. He pulled down inner garnish of A/C unit to check all connections which were found to be good and all clean so Sonrise did that properly. Then he went on the roof and removed the exterior hood to A/C unit. Very clean inside but found that the compressor fan was not freely rotating due to "goop build up". He had to apply lubricant and manually rotate the fan until it smoothly rotated without restriction. Then he restarted A/C unit and allowed to run for ~ 15 min and the compressor no longer shut down. He then checked for the cooling delta which was about 27°-28° which is excellent. He also found that the A/C was running (pulling) 10 amps with the exterior hood off & only 8 amps with the exterior hood on. This is very good. So, all in all, this should not have happened 3 months after getting A/C serviced. Evidently, Sonrise did clean the inside and replace the filters, but they failed to test it and clean and lubricate the compressor fan causing me to pay another $175 to have a mobile mechanic travel to the location and spend 2 hours diagnosing and fixing something that should have been fixed when Sonrise charged me $120+ for the A/C service. That's just not right. read more
