A great park, anything you would like to do you can do here, there is something for everyone , you have a playground for toddlers and another one for kids that's a little older, you have a skateboard park for the teens of the family , you have a basketball court for the hooper, i do have to say it's a half court with one of the courts with a smaller goal than regulation, a beautiful dog park for that four legged love of your life, this is really a nice park

This park has two section, one for small dogs and one for big ones. Usually is not really packed. Which is perfect if you're looking to introduce your dog to dog parks and new dogs. It's a mix of dirt and grass, with several benches for the humans. The area is big and you have also trails around to finish the visit with a nice walk

One of the things I've noticed with a lot of Gwinnett County parks is the catch all mentality. Football fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, fields, fields, fields. What I like about Ronald Reagan park is it's just a park. Paved walking trail? Check. Play area for the kids? Check Secluded bubbling brook that's great for lunch? Check Several stringer trails that lead off to a nice little lake? Check Dog park! Check Senior area (what's senior about fun and games??)? Check. Teen area (I must've missed it)? Check Yep, there is a basketball court, skate park and two play areas for children, but there seems to be more trees than people, and that's great if you like a little quiet nature time. My favorite part of the park and trail is towards the back of the dog park, because all you hear is moving water and birds. You can sit there and just chill on one of the benches and reset. If you're so lucky to live behind the park, there's a wooden path that connects the neighborhood behind it, and there are several picnic opportunities/grills/swing sets to make your experience here pleasant. One of the only downsides to Ronald Reagan park is it's sometimes tough to get out of, especially if you're turning left onto Five Forks Trickum Road...but hopefully after visiting this park for a bit, you're too zen to have road rage anyway.

I took myself out for an exploration walk here yesterday, but I have actually been here a couple of times. This is not my first choice for walking, because the trail is a little small. It feels like you'll be walking for about ten minutes and then the trail is already over and you start all over again. This can be good, if you don't have time to venture out too far, but it can also be bad if you'll be tempted to go home too quickly. There are some pretty spots off the short trail to see and admire though. This is a great place to collect your thoughts by running river. There is also a basketball court and an area where skateboarders are always skateboarding. Apparently there is also a "senior area" and a "teen area" which i'm not sure what there is there that makes it for that demographic. The "Senior Area" looks like there are a bunch of horse-shoe game set-ups. There are also two different swing sets and a playground a huge dog park to take your paw-pal. There is a pretty lake in the front also with a couple of bridges. This would be a good picture-taking spot. I think the trail is only 1.25 miles. There are many picnic tables and places to BBQ or have an outdoor party too. #YEFit2015

What separates this park from the rest is its location and the people who visit it. As someone who enjoys peace and quiet, this park is ideal. I never see this place become overcrowded, and the visitors keep it pretty clean. Most of those who visit the park are young families or elder couples. With the inclusion of basketball courts, there are young people playing basketball from time to time. Even with all the diverse group of people with different backgrounds visiting, I feel as though that this park always keeps people peaceful and cordial. In the 7 years I have lived in Snellville, I have always had pleasant times visiting the park with my girlfriend and the dog. Yes, this place is awesome for dog owners as it comes with several caged play areas for dogs where people get to mingle. The dogs love it, and its owner do as well. Ronald Reagan Park is full of wonderful and polite visitors and offers peace and quiet. I plan to bring my family here for walks and picnics once I make a family of my own!!

Ehh..... It's an ok park. The playground area seems to have the most to offer for anyone wanting to come here. The walking trail is pretty, surrounding a pond. There are conveniently placed doggy doo grab bag locations. There are two basketball hoops in the court. The skate park.... A mostly flat bowl with a short rim, then two rails to the sides. Not very challenging, but good for the beginner that's taking baby steps into skate tricks. It's peaceful and quiet here, but the addition of light posts around the basketball court and skate park would be nice and encourage an active outdoor life as opposed to the indoor digital life.

A great park, spacious, has a paved walking trail. The people are friendly! It also has a pond and dog park area.

This park is by far my favorite in Gwinnett County because of the mixed use paved versus non-paved pathways, well-maintained, and overall cozy vibes. Like an outdoor museum. Even the restrooms are the best that I've seen in local parks. The location is very conveniently located with a Duluth entrance and Suwanee entrance. Plenty of parking. Even a public garden. Busiest times are after 11am on weekdays and after 10am on weekends. The best entrance is on the Duluth side off of Old Norcross Road. Great for taking a morning walk and then visiting the local cafes afterwards.

The park itself had ample parking spaces. And the facilities there were clean and well maintained. There were various trails that's away from the main paved path. These side trails were nicely shaded and eventually leads back on the main path. The historic farm structures like the main house, farmhouse, side house and its outhouse are still erect. That's the charm of this place with the well groomed flower garden that someone upkeeps. The old and new altogether. As you wander the park, you forget you're in the heart of Duluth where shopping and restaurants galore await you. Because while you're talking around (and trying not to sweat to death during the summer), you'll hear the summer insects buzzing. It literally reminded me of my childhood during the summers hearing the loud insects buzz away.

There's also a seasonal pool. I go here often just to enjoy nature and being outdoors weather permitting. I especially enjoy walking in Lenora Park during the Fall season as it's beautiful to see the many trees changing colors. Lenora park is also my go to location for early voting. Lenora Park is about to undergo some major improvements with revitalizing and expanding the gym into a community recreation center that will have a dance studio, art classroom, kitchen and will include an upper-level balcony with a two-way walking track. I'm excited and looking forward to seeing the progress while on my walks in the park.

Harbins Dog Park has three large fenced areas. One for small dogs, one for families with mixed sizes and one really large area for big dogs. The openings to each area have two gates to ensure your dog doesn't make a break for it and the small dog area has playground equipment for the little fellas! All have a shaded sitting area for owners, doggie water fountain, plastic bag dispensers and garbage cans. There is also a paved track that loops around the football field and doggie park. What makes Harbins Dog Park particularly nice is its location. A secluded area on the opposite side of the football field with its own parking. On days where there are no other dogs, we find ourselves watching as cars pull up to see if our little rascal will have a small playmate or if its a larger dog... and he watches too! We either say, "Yaaay, here comes a friend to play!" and he goes bananas or "Sorry, no playmate" and he shrugs it off as if to say "oh well!" I swear he seems to understand! Is that weird or is that a dog park thing? I'm so new to all of this I have no idea what's normal. NOTE: There are reports (on the park Facebook page) that some owners dogs have been aggressive and the owner did not manage their aggression, but so far in 8 visits there have been no serious incidents that I've witnessed. We did have a little weenie dog try to attack our little guy just seconds after walking through the gate, but the owner was quick to react. Downhill from the doggie and football area you'll find a toddler playground, open fields for family sports, restrooms, and a 1 mile paved loop trail. Overall, a very quiet little area for those who don't care to walk the more populated area of Harbins Park just up the road. 2018/67
