The families that I've met have been nice and the dogs seem to get along. The area is pretty large so you have to keep up with your pet. There is a water fountain for the dogs with a fountain on the opposite side to fill bowls or bottles. When you first come in the park there are two gates to go through before entering the park. There are also a couple of picnic tables and several benches to sit throughout the park.

Five minutes of getting there and into our walk, this dude comes chasing us down on his mower, scared the hell out of us, thought he was going to run us over, jumps off the mower and comes over and yells at me, "You didn't pick up your dogs poop!" Ok for one, my dog hadn't even had time to poop, we had just got there. And even if I hadn't I didn't appreciate the theatrics. I come there with my dog and disabled husband to walk in peace, it's good therapy for my husband who has dementia but this was uncalled for! If they want to really obsess over something, how about all the poop on the walkway and the used condoms I have to constantly step over!

I feel like it has something for everyone. There are steeper trails to challenge yourself and plenty of flat , paved paths for all who might have balance issues or just want to take a smooth stroll. There is so much to check out, I have not been around the entire park on foot yet. I just recently discovered the back end where it turns into the Harris Greenway Trail. The park is a great place for a picnic at one of the many pavilions, fishing or kayaking on the lake, biking, playing outdoor games with plenty of areas to spread out, etc. and the facilities are always clean when I've been here (pavilions and bathrooms). It's just an overall, great tranquil park. You can even bring your horses here, if you have them. Highly recommend this park if you haven't been yet.

This park boasts great walk/riding trails, large expansive green space, and just the best kid's play area. Now this play set is average in size and boasts a small and larger kid set, but the reason it's awesome is the kids! We were there for about an hour and the kids had all made friends, organized a zombie tag game between themselves and were having a blast. Sweet parents chatted together and it made me feel so good to hear the giggling sound of kids playing together! We will be back for sure.

Y'all know that feeling? It was definitely great to just feel some nature and spend some time alone. The park is located in Snellville, on Five Forks Trickum Rd. This park is super clean. It has a couple of playgrounds, a lake, and even a doggy's park inside the area. While I was walking around I also got to pet a couple of doggies and it was great!! There are plenty of benches, and picnic areas too. I saw some signs for the "senior" and "teen" área but I couldn't really figure out where they were or how they look like.t point is, this park is for everyone which is great. Im trying to get healthier this year, and move more so I'm definitely gonna be coming to this park more often. It's close to me, and it's simple great. Granted, it was a weekday around 3 in the afternoon there weren't many people there. When I got arrived there was only one person in the mixed dog run with her dog. When I left about a half hour later, three other people showed up but everyone was in a separate dog run. The people I met were all very nice and I was told that the park rarely has anyone in the dog park area. I found that really odd because it seems like a nice park with a lot of room for your dog to get all of their energy released.

Peachtree ridge showed up so I headed on over I was expecting, well, nothing, but I was met with a very well taken care of park complete with a really nice park long paved trail (i'm not quite sure how much the mileage is, but it couldn't have been more than a mile) I like that along the walking trail there are nice hills in places and there's some natural shade from all the trees. Venture towards the front of the park and there's a kid's play area and restroom area (clean restrooms fyi)j Walk deeper into the trail and it opens up to the "sports" portion of the park with a really nice football field, track around the football field and a basketball court a little bit away from those. Tons of parking, and seemingly vacant mid day, which surprises me, but at the same time makes me happy that there isn't so much foot traffic. Favorite park? No, but it definitely is a place i'll be visiting quite often.
