Dr. Lo is one of those people. A natural educator in a dental scrubs, Dr. Lo took the time to explain common misconceptions about dental hygiene with kindness and zeal. Like I said, I've never felt more excited about flossing and brushing. I took advantage of a new patient promotion for the office and am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and take the time to answer questions. I was not upsold on any service. From what I could tell, this dental office is more interested in giving patients what they actually need and does not try to sell products or procedures that are not necessary. It sounds like they offer a membership for self-pay patients as well that would offest the cost for those who are underinsured as well. Happy with the discovery of this dentist. Well worth the drive from Denton.

I still get reminder calls and emails from this clinic for cleanings, which I truly appreciate. The doctor was very understanding and offered me a refund, which I accepted. I'm updating my review from 1 star to 5 stars to reflect how everything was handled with professionalism and care.

I simply just would like a teeth cleaning as my insurance provides me. I try to manage those expectations when booking my appointment as I know when you go into this practice they press you hard to sell you on anything they can. Today they tried again with charging me above and beyond the cleaning I had asked for. When I stated I didn't want that they refused service so I walked out. Do yourself a favor and when searching for a dentist in Plano, don't let the fancy office fool you. It's fancy for a reason and that being their ability to upsell this service. Stay away!

I came to Willow Bend Dentistry as a new patient after moving to the area, looking to establish…read morecare. The location was convenient and the online reviews seemed promising. I take good care of my teeth, brushing twice daily, flossing occasionally, and having had braces and permanent retainers growing up, I was shocked when I was told I had over 10 cavities during my first visit. That immediately raised a red flag for me. Still, not wanting to start over somewhere new, I agreed to have the three worst cavities filled (despite originally requesting to treat only the one I was most concerned about), along with a routine cleaning. Even with good dental insurance, I paid about $300 out of pocket. Shortly after the visit, I began experiencing pain and sensitivity on the right side of my mouth.... so much so that I couldn't chew on that side. I returned, and the dentist said my bite was too high and shaved the filling down, telling me the pain should resolve within a week. It didn't. I returned a second time and saw a different dentist, who shaved it down again. Weeks went by, the pain continued to worsen, and since I was only chewing on my left side, my jaw became inflamed and my TMJ flared up. Still trying to get answers and some relief, I returned for a third follow-up, this time with the original dentist again. I explained that the previous adjustments hadn't helped, but he insisted the bite was still too high and filed it again. This time, the pain was intense to the point where I was in tears in the chair. I was told numbing wasn't an option because it would interfere with assessing my bite, which made the experience nearly unbearable. I was eventually given nitrous just to get through the procedure which didn't do much but allow me a moment to catch my breath. By the end of that appointment, I was told that if things didn't improve, I'd need to be referred to a root canal specialist. Which is a joke considering I came in originally with perfectly healthy teeth and my cavities aren't nearly deep enough to need one. At this point, I've decided to have my X-rays sent to my previous dentist out of state and will be making the trip home to have this corrected. What began as a simple cleaning turned into months of discomfort, multiple missed hours of work, and new dental issues I didn't have before. I truly wish I had trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion sooner. I went in for a cleaning, left with a dozen alleged cavities, and now may need a root canal??? No.

Upon relocating to Dallas finding a new dentist was one of the many things I needed to do. And finding a great dentist was more challenging than I thought it would be. Thankfully I was able to go to my Yelp app and conduct my search. A BIG thank you to Nicole J. Upon coming across her initial review for Dr. Yeary I PM'ed her to gather more information. She promptly responded and the next thing I knew I was in the chair at Dr. Yeary's. Upon my first visit I knew I was in the correct place. Talk about rolling out the red carpet...the greeting I received upon arriving was both warm and professional. Instead of handing me some forms to complete, I was seated and asked a series of questions and the next thing I knew I was reviewing the 'new patient forms' and signing. I don't know about you but I am not a fan of completing those new patient forms. This approach made this part of the process so much more enjoyable. Next was the actually appointment in the dental chair. Dr. Yeary has state of the art equipment. As someone who enjoys technology I truly appreciate the setup here. From viewing X-rays on an overhead monitor to the cleaning tools, it all contributed to a great experience. Also, when the monitor is not in use for viewing X-rays, etc, the staff will gladly put it on a TV channel of choice. How cool is it to catch up on sports (ESPN) while having your teeth cleaned? And the comfortable dental chair made feel like I was at home in a recliner. Since my initial visit I've returned a couple of times and the level of warm professional service has been consistent. On one occasion I had a tooth fixed and the entire process was painless. And to top that off, later that evening I rececived a follow up call to see how I was doing. And guess who made the call? Dr. Yeary himself. I could not think of the last time I'd received a follow up call from my dentist (or doctor). Usually it's someone on staff who performs the follow up call. As we were heading into the weekend, Dr. Yeary made it clear that if I had any issues to call and he would get back to me immediately. When is the last time you had a dentist/doctor encouraging you to interrupt their weekend if required? I don't think I've had that occur. Lastly, I truly appreciate that Dr. Yeary looks to solve issues the most cost effective way. As we all know, dental work is expensive. It's good to work with a dentist who is looking to correct the problem the most cost effective way. And I appreciate that Dr. Yeary looks at a longer term fix, not just something to get through for a 12-18 months. I am very pleased that I found Dr. Yeary and his team. They are definitely a 5 star team.

When I called at 8:05 a.m. to move my wife's appointment, I was told we'd be charged a $129 cancellation fee for being within 24 hours. She's currently bedridden and unable to do much of anything--making a dental visit completely unrealistic. After more than 30 years with Dr. Beougher, I was stunned by such a steep penalty. Other practices may charge a modest $25, but $129 feels excessive. I told the staff on the phone to cancel every future appointment--we will not be returning. Driving nearly 30 miles one way was already a commitment, but this policy makes it impossible to justify. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THIS IS THE CONDENSDED VERSION OF MY EXPERIENCE. Dr. OZ placed a…read moredental implant on a slant in an attempt to fill two spaces with one huge crown. The implant was placed right on top of a nerve. After several phone calls over several months about pain, bleeding at the implant site, and pieces of bone fragments, I was seen in the clinic and referred to the dentist who was contracted to do the abutment and crown. He refused to proceed with the restoration process, refunded my money and referred me back to Innate Dental for the restoration. According to the general dentist the implant was not done to his professional standards. I returned to Innate Dental, and the area was cleaned and a healing cap was put in. No anesthesia was used and the pain intensified as the healing cap was being screwed in. I called the clinic several times and was completely ignored as the pain and swelling continued to intensify. I was told once everything was healed the pain would subside and it did not. Within a matter of days, I almost choked to death in my sleep as the healing cap came out while I was sleeping. I almost swallowed the healing caps and several bone fragments. I called the clinic numerous of times and again I was ignored. I was told the messages were being given to the Dr. Oz but he never returned a single call. Finally, after being ignored for several weeks, I showed up to the clinic and met with Michelle Dossett. She promised to refund my money, give me a fair amount for pain and suffering and to cover the cost of the removal of the implant in its entirety. I asked if it would be best to remove the implant and be done. The pain as too much and I did not want to risk additional damage. She reassured me that once the botched implant was removed and it was done correctly, I would not experience any more pain. MICHELLE ALSO STATED THAT DR. OZ WOULD BE TERMINATED AS THERE WERE SEVERAL OTHER PATIENTS WHO WERE COMPLAING ABOUT HIS WORK. The surgery to remove the botched implant was done in November 2025. I have NERVE DAMAGE AND HAVE LOST ALL THE FEELING IN MY LEFT JAW. I met with Gary and there has been no communication to rectify this injustice. They have ignored all communication. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL LIE AND TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOUR MONEY.
