From start to finish, the visit went very well. Scheduling was easy, filling out the new patient "paperwork" was online and easy, and once I arrived for my appointment, everything else went smoothly! I believe Dr. Jaouni provided a conservative treatment plan recommendation, which I very much appreciated. I mean, after all, who wants to have a tooth pulled, unless absolutely necessary?! My wife has been treated by Dr. Jaouni on a couple of occasions. She was pleased with the result and approved of my seeing him for my "emergency" issue. After being seen by Dr. Jaouni, I too recommend this endodontist. I hope you don't need to visit the Endodontist, but if you do and you decide to give this practice/Dr. Jaouni an opportunity to treat you, I hope you have a likewise very positive experience! I immediately called my dentist, Dentistry By Brand and they referred me to this Endodontic practice. They made an opening for me and was in the chair within the hour. The Dr and his assistant were amazing. No pain procedure because of the skill of Dr Ahmad Kassabji. His practice is all geared for your comfort and care. Root canals require know how and precision. They help figure out the best ways to work treatment plans in with our insurance, and have adjusted payment plans for services as we've needed a LOT of dental work recently. The quality of dental work itself has also been excellent- we've had crowns, root canals and cavities filled, and haven't had pain during or post treatment. 5/9/24: I had a terrible experience with this office, particularly with the front desk personnel…read more Unbeknownst to me, I was referred to this office by the VA. My case manager called on 5/8 at 3:54pm, and advised that this office had been trying to reach me to set up an appointment. They mislead my case manager. Their extent of "trying to reach me" was ONE call on 5/8, at 3:37pm, they did NOT leave a voice mail, and the number showed up on my phone as "Discover". I told my case manager that I had not received any calls from this office, and she said that the office had been trying to reach me. I called the office on 5/8 at 3:55pm and let them know they apparently had called the same day that my case manager called, and that was the only call that I had missed. A female gave me attitude and asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment. I told her that I would reach out to my case manager and would call them back. I called the dentist office the next day, and whomever answered said that that I needed to contact the VA to go somewhere else. What I surmise happened was that the first representative I spoke with on 5/8 didn't like being called out on a lie, and told a story to her manager and they basically blackballed me. I called the the VA back and was set up with another dental office nearby. Looking at prior reviews, the dentists may be great, but in my experience, whomever is making calls out to prospective patients lacks integrity and professionalism.

I deleted my original review written a year ago when the dentist threatened to not complete the bridge and crown she had ordered and prepped in retaliation for my poor review. I'm currently sitting in a dentist office in Washington having to replace the substandard work by this dentist. All 3 of the crowns and 2 bridges she did have all failed because she cut the teeth too short for the crowns and bridges to stay attached. New dentist says they've never seen such terrible work. She is having to drill out my tooth, install a post and build up the tooth before making new crowns and bridges. Sadly since my insurance just paid for this work a year ago they won't pay again so I'm paying cash. Nearly $20,000 now. Woodbridge should have to refund me that money. Maybe I need a lawyer.

It was a waste of money, but that's on us. I went next about a month later. The dentist told me I needed to replace a filling that was roughly 30 years old, as it could crack and fall out at any time (I had asked about it because it was old-school black, and vanity got the best of me). Out of fear, I booked the appointment before I left that day, but was unable to follow through due to a change in my insurance coverage. I am so glad I was forced to wait!! I started reconsidering the dentist's advice, and went for a second opinion at Modern Dental. Not only did the new dentist say my filling was as solid as a rock, he was able to replace it (in house, the same day) and for half the cost. My husband went for his final visit there on Dec 7, 2023. He said they again tried to talk him into services (again, not covered by insurance), and this time he opted out...and began shopping for a new dentist. Fast for to 2 days ago. I received a bill for $150!! No itemization on the invoice, just a note about x-rays taken on Dec 7 (covered by insurance). I called to find out why we were being billed, and they couldn't answer me...said they'd call me back. I called them yesterday, threatening to refer them to the Attorney General in Texas if they were not able to provide an itemized statement of medical services. They finally called me back today...something about there was a billing error (by their 3rd party billing company), and that we only owe them $25 for a fluoride treatment on Dec 7, 2023. I told them I would not pay them a dime until I got an itemized list of medical services...we'll see if they send me one...
