I would have liked to be a customer. However when we saw them parked at a neighborhood and approached them about services and timeline, we were met by poor customer service and poor attitude which was uncalled for. Customer service says a lot about a business and given the individual's lack of professionalism, we didn't feel confident they'd be a good fit. When cleaning my fireplace, Ron's employee slightly bent the frame on the glass doors enough for one door to stick shut. I asked Ron to fix the door and he went ballistic. I was "trying to play him". Next thing I know he's trying to push my check back at me and telling me to never call him. I did not take the check back and he left slamming the door on his way out. The guy is a hothead if I ever saw one. After they left, my wife and I found the piece of the fireplace doorframe that was bent and fixed it in 10 minutes. I would not want to have someone with this anger management issue in my home. Please be careful not to upset Ronnie if he's inside your house. read more

In recent weeks, we had problems with our oil burner stopping for no apparent reason. We could start it up by pushing the Start button. However, after a few of these cycles, it stopped and wouldn't start up again. Our oil service person examined our burner and told us the problem was caused by our flue being blocked up. We were surprised to hear this since we hadn't been using our wood stove or fireplace for several years. He made a few adjustments to get the furnace running again but told us not to run it until we had a chimney sweep examine the flue. The danger was dangerous gas being blocked by the flue and seeping into the house. We selected Ron Jon Chimney Sweepers on the basis of good reviews in Yelp. Ronnie fitted us in his schedule and arrived as planned. He had an intern in tow who was lending him a hand and learning the business. We can't tell you how much we appreciated the expert and professional job Ronnie did. He quickly diagnosed our problem as a completely plugged up and poorly positioned flue connected to our oil burner. We hadn't realized that flues connected to the furnace need to be serviced and cleaned out regularly. He created an opening in our chimney from the garage, cleaned it out from there, and set it up for on going servicing from that location. All in all, a complete and correct job done quickly.
