I've been hearing about this location for awhile now but I have never been a fan of the other Romio's around, so it took me a minute to make it here. What makes this one stand out is that it offers a vegan menu, which is something I really appreciate when dining out. Unfortunately it is hard to locate this online, so I needed someone in a facebook group to post it so that I finally took the steps to drive here and check it out. This place is not even listed on Happycow. This place has a strange seating set up, with seats in the front and the back. Plenty of easy parking out front, off a main road, easy to locate if you know what part of the building to look for. The vegan menu was setting out near the pick up area, but not sure it would have been offered if I didn't ask about it. There was a sign that mentioned vegan options near the front. The vegan menu is large, with so many things to choose from. I opted for the penne puttanesca this visit, but I would certainly eat most of the things on this menu. I had a bit of a hard time choosing. It comes with a side salad which was tasty with Italian dressing. Prices were as expected these days, but its nice to not have to pay a vegan upcharge and have actual vegan menu items to choose from. My partner opted for something off the regular menu, chicken marsala and also found this to be tasty. He only ate half of his meal while there, but did end up finishing the rest up at home that night. I do think we will try to make it back here when we are in the area. I only wish the Everett Romios would offer this vegan menu so I could have something to eat there on a more regular basis. read more

On August 28 2026, I came here as a delivery driver to pick up an order. An employee assured me that the wait would be about 10 minutes or even less. I waited approximately 15-17 minutes, then asked her for an update. She told me that the order was still being prepared and suggested that I simply cancel the delivery instead of continuing to wait. So, first I was assured that the order would be ready in about 10 minutes or less, but after I had already spent significantly more time waiting, I was simply told to cancel it. This is not a restaurant that I would go back for. Food is subpar, but at least the staff were awesome. I ordered carbonara and pizza. The carbonara had a watery texture on its sauce, so it wasn't sticking to the pasta. The pizza was just so-so but perhaps something with meat would've made this better? Went here for lunch with my husband. This was our first time going to Romio's and it didn't disappoint. We had the personal pizzas and garlic knots. The price was amazing for what you get! Our waitress was so nice and attentive and she spent time explaining their menu and making suggestions. The food came out piping hot, really fresh and super tasty. read more

Came to this place for lunch one day and I'll admit, I was a little skeptical. But I'm glad we gave it a shot - the food was delicious. I'm not much of a salad fan, but the salad I had here, as simple as it was, was fantastic. It was so fresh! I created my own pizza consisting of fresh mozzarella and sausage, and it hit the spot. I really wanted to leave a stellar five star review but man oh man this pizza just didn't do it for me. I don't think I had high expectations cause pizza is pizza and it's so good whenever and wherever. Maybe I just didn't order the right things? I got two 10in pizzas, the house special and the pepperoni. Both were pretty decent in size but lacking so much flavor. So bland, nothing really stands out between the two pizzas. They're a little top heavy which some might like but the pizza was so soggy. I was really missing that crunch whether you get it with the crust or bottom of the pizza. The pizza was way too floppy, everything falling off including cheese and all the toppings. The restaurant was empty. I placed an order for takeout. The description was fried eggplant and pasta. The pieces of eggplant were 2 inches thick. Barely cooked through. Underwhelming is what I thought of everything. We had a group reservation and while it was fine, we probably will not be back again. We had several folks with food allergies to dairy milk, and stuck to ordering vegan items. The vegan items are not clearly marked on the in-restaurant menu, so if you go online, you can see the full vegan menu. Even then, we had to make sure everything was safe for our allergic family members to eat, and the server was not aware of which dressings were dairy-free and/or vegan, and I had to specify we did not want dairy based cheese with our salad even though we stated we had dairy allergies. For the cost, the food was meh, and the vegan eggplant parmesan was not very good because it was not breaded, and it was essentially very thin slices of baked eggplant. The pizzas were good, and probably worth coming back for though. Otherwise, it was a bit pricey for the quality of food that I could make much better myself at home for our family. read more

I hate to give such a subpar review, but it is much deserved. I love Italian food and don't order it very often. So I was very excited to do did my lunch break last Saturday. I got the cheese filled tortellini with pesto sauce and feta, and a slice of chocolate cake. The garlic bread that came with the pasta was more chewy than crispy, but tasted okay. The tortellini was very heavy and had a pasty texture. Also, too many pine nuts for my liking. The pesto flavorful was pretty good though. But the worst thing- the chocolate cake. I honestly didn't know you could mess up cake that badly. It was very dry and crumbly, and the "frosting" was a fudge type consistency that was so cloyingly sweet... it was bad. My friend and I stopped in for dinner and had the Greek fries and dolmades(stuffed grape leaves) for appetizers and the fettuccine Alfredo formaggia baked pasta and carbonara (with tortellini substituted for the pasta), and cannolis. Both pasta dishes were delicious and came with 2 pieces of garlic bread and a side salad. The baked pasta dish came with 3 tasty meatballs. Portion sizes of the pasta were on the larger side, which was a big plus. However, the french fries we had lacked flavor and did not seemed to be cooked right--like they were cooked in an oven almost--which was disappointing if you're a fry junkie like me. I've had better tzatziki sauce-it was a little bland for me and yogurt based. The grape leaves had good flavor though. The cannolis were a good end to the meal. Overall, I was highly satisfied and the service was great! I'll definitely be back for the pasta. Side Note: they handed us paper menus that had old prices listed. They also had a barcode you could scan with your phone to see the menu that had the correct, updated, increased prices. It's been awhile but we came down for dinner. I had the chicken eggplant Parmesan with salad and my husband has the meatball Parmesan. We both liked the sauce and we certainly had enough to take home. My husband thought there was less meat than a competing restaurant. Romio's has the best gluten free pizza my wife and I have found anywhere. This location is great, and so is the one in Seattle. We've always relied on these locations for parties, because the pizza is great and we can order gluten free along with regular for our guests. Please beware impersonators pretending to be new branches. There is one in Redmond that calls itself "Romio's Pizza and Pasta" on Google maps and Yelp, but calls themselves "Bommarillu Indian Cuisine" with a sub-brand "Romio's Indo Italian Pizza" on their menus and they have a separate website with that name. read more

Received the worst food and service that we have ever seen from Romio's of Kirkland. I think, increasingly, this is an outfit that doesn't want to deliver anymore. I get the feeling they are chronically short-staffed and all aspects of their business show it. The delivery takes forever, the website is a relic of a bygone age (it is just a pain to order!), the once good food quality is becoming increasingly sloppy, greasy, garbage...and you get all of this for a very high price, too! I can call up Papa John's and get sub-par product and treated like an A**hole all for just $20 rather than dropping $75 or $100! I am going to post a picture of a seasonal Caprese salad that was sent out. This item costs $8.50 on the menu and consisted of four (x4) roma tomato slices and four pieces of mozzarella with wilted brown basal chaff sprinkled on it. It is truly a masterpiece! Every item on my order was incorrectly delivered. I got told "so? we are human" when I called to see what could be done. I was promised a partial credit by management, albeit, that has not yet materialized and was only very grudgingly offered, regardless.
