It was so greasy and watery that all the toppings fell off. Just garbage pizza!
Stephen M.

The sauce is very sweet and if you get peppers it's so watery that all the cheese and topping falls off. It's also incredibly greasy. This is sh*t pizza.

Romao is the joint in Passic for pizza. They may be Jersey but they are more like New York style then anything else and offer a smorgasbord of pizza types and customize pies along with,l hot and cold heros and pasta to go dishes that will please the most critical meatball you know. I like to get the half cheese half sausage pies. They do the crumpled lite spicy sausage and not the slice. And from the dozen or so pies I ordered not one was burnt or was delivered with the cheese slipping off.

I've been going to Romeo's for many years and It never disappoints. Their pizza and sandwiches are extremely delicious and It's our goto pizza for delivery when we have family over. I went with the Sicilian Pizza and it was good I goto Romeo's atleast once a week so I'll def be back.

YIKES. Food was so hot that the lids literally melted into my pasta dish. Found bits of plastic all throughout it.

Food was ok. BE WARNED: I got pickup, came home, unwound, sat down to eat only to find a plastic lid had MELTED INTO MY FOOD. I called and they were aware that this happens, saying they usually try and use two lids (which, means that actually there were TWO LIDS MELTED into my food). Their only option was for me to have to go back out in the rain and switch out for a new one (ugh). Seriously had bits of melted plastic all throughout the food. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Romeo's Pizza is located on Main Ave, off of Van Houten Ave, next to the Quick Chek shopping center in Passaic Park, NJ. We order numerous meals from Romeo's, and they never disappoint. If veggies are your thing, their veggie pie is a must. Furthermore, their baked ziti dishes are always on point (which comes with a fresh loaf of bread), and the parmigiana heroes are delicious as well.

Basic and good!

Good, old-school neighborhood pizza. We had a couple of slices and marveled at the crispness of the crust on the bottom, but the chewiness was maintained on the top. That's something you will only experience when you eat in, not after getting it delivered. It wilts in the box. Eat there if you're in the area and have a pizza fix.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

To start,…read morethey bring out some ciabatta (?) bread, which was crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. For food, we decided to order a bunch of things to share: -Zucchini fritte (with lemon aioli dipping sauce) - this was thin and perfectly crispy but somehow not oily. It was addicting -Arancini - these were okay. Could have used more meat -Margherita pizza - can't go wrong with a margherita. I do wish the actual crust was thinner -Meatball & Co pizza (meatballs, sweet sausage, cherry peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella & ricotta cheese) - same with the crust situation. The description also said cherry peppers but they also added jalapenos, which is not a big deal - just a call out. The sausage was alright -Seafood fra Diavolo (sauteed clams, calarami, mussels, spicy tomato sauce) - sauce could have used a bit more spice. They don't skimp on the seafood though. I was pleasantly surprised by the calamari, which can taste rubberband-y but that wasn't the case here -Tiramisu - tasted fridgey/supermarket-bought -Affogato - a nice way to end the meal. Made me wonder why I don't make more affogatos at home Overall, it the meal was fine. Is it something I'd crave for? I don't think so. Well, maybe except that zucchini fritte. I wouldn't mind ordering that again. Tip - BYOB (there's a liquor store across the street)

There were a lot of families with young kids on a Saturday night. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We started with "ma's meatballs, which were good. I especially liked the sauce. I got the seafood Fra Diavolo over spaghetti which was very good. All the seafood was fresh and I only left the shells. My date got the chicken Romano, which was served with a spicy rigatoni vodka and burrata. Her dish was so good and a very generous portion. I also loved that it was a BYO - seems like there are less and less of these type of restaurants these days. I will definitely go back to try some of the other appetizers and entrees. Go check it out!

So added to my list of places to go. Came here on a Thursday afternoon. The place has an old school pizzeria vibe to it. Once you enter, you place your order at the counter. I knew I had to get the Sicilian slice and the person taking my order suggested I get the sausage slice so I got both. The sausage slice was really good and the sausage didn't seem like your typical frozen sausage. The Sicilian was also really solid. If I'm in the area I will stop by to try other topping slices. Solid pizza joint. * Parking on premise * Cash only * Indoor door seating (limited) * Outdoor dining available * Each table has its own Parmesan shaker * Plastic utensils individually packaged

The pizza is literally like a thinner triangle sliced version of Ellio's frozen pizza as you can see from the pictures ... that dough / crust had to be mass produced and the slices are the size of what you would get back in school for lunch on pizza Fridays. They then have the nerve to be cash only in 2025 ... unless you're using a business credit card .... like whaaaat???? And the place definitely needs a cleaning from top to bottom and also needs to put away the pile of fluorescent light bulbs that were just thrown on one of the benches at a table. Never again!
