Great place for pizza and wings. We eat there quite often and it is a friendly place for my kid with food allergies. We've had times of inconsistent pizza but management is always ready to please. Just a quick note to acknowledge the excellent job tonight by the store manager and staff. I'd ordered a couple of pizzas online for pickup on the way home from work and observed for a few minutes while waiting for my order. The mid-30's(?) manager with three young apprentices were all working hard and efficiently, with the manager calling out corrective action or points of emphasis to the staff as needed. "Call the names clearly and loudly when orders come up!" he directed, etc. My order was delivered about 5 minutes beyond the 5:45 requested time, but it was to be expected considering the obvious after-work dinner crush that was rapid fly building (I recommend a five minute buffer for pickup time during rush hour). Our pizzas were delivered exactly as requested (a 50/50 cheese/pepperoni, plus a ranch potato with bacon sauce. Both pies were hot, with just the right balance of cheese, sauce, and spices. Both received exemplary feedback from our dinner table of consumers! Mmm. We love their specialty pizza menu, and I would walk out with one of each if I had the capacity! Props to staff, menu, and process. A job well done by all; you are our go-to! read more

I have no quarrels with the customer service, location or promptness of the restaurant. All three areas were above average. I ordered a full sheet, pepperoni pizza and received it in about 20 minutes and it was hot and fresh. I drove it home and we opened the box and dug in! Two kids actually spit the pizza out and asked if there was (maple) syrup on the pizza? I told them stop being silly and eat, but when I took a bite I realized it is EXTREMELY SWEET!! I have literally had dessert pizzas that were not as sweet as this, so I called to make sure there hasn't been a mistake and was told they just use a sweet sauce. It may be your thing, but it definitely isn't mine. We basically wasted 75% of the pizza. I hope you have better luck. read more

Ordered delivery and it arrived way faster than expected! Their online ordering system wouldn't let us customize individual sides of the pizza, so we called our order in. Even though we were missing an ingredient on our pizza, it was still really good! We ordered the loaded crust and it was great! Service was great! The young boys working behind the counter were very nice. Now for the food. The pizza crust and cheese- very good. The sauce- absolutely disgusting. The sauce was incredibly sweet. For a few minutes we thought maybe someone messed up on making the sauce. We ordered cheese bread- that was good, but dipping sauce- horrible. We also got some chocolate chip cookies, those were flavorless. We paid $30 roughly for everything. We won't be going back. If the sauce was normal, the pizza would be fabulous. Everyone has a bad day. Today Todd, the owner personally delivered an apology pizza. It is important to give folks an opportunity to make corrections. They had previously improperly made the pizza and improperly placed blame. I accepted his apology and will order again. There pizza is good and service prompt. The stars have been changed from one to four to represent forgiveness of my previous review. If you like being told what you'll get to eat and it is a surprise Romero's is for you, comrade. To my surprise, the pizza arrived 60% covered in pepperoni, which I did not order. Can you find pepperoni on the receipt? The yellow paper covers my address ; ). So I sent it back. 20 seconds later the manager called. He said I ordered the wrong pizza. Really? I told him I didn't order pepperoni. He said that's what it comes with. I said well if it's my mistake send the pizza/driver back up. As you can see from the receipt and it is quite detailed, and everything else was perfectly accurate and yet no pepperoni. Mistakes happen, I get that. I used to deliver pizza. It's bad to make a mistake, It's worse not to apologize for it, and absolutely UNACCEPTABLE to accuse the customer of ordering the wrong pizza, especially when you are the manager!! I guess the manager was just having a bad night, Or is blaming your Customer the pathway to pizza delivery success? PS I can't give you zero, so you get one star. read more

I often times find the owner Todd right in the mix with his crew. Ultimately with a younger workforce and high volume of calls it's hard to imagine how hard it must be to provide the consistency. Seeing some of the reviews it's hard to imagine how he must feel when expectations aren't met knowing he is really doing everything within his power. The email link to let them know that we arrived didn't work so we had to call a few times. Ok, tonight my husband and I were craving pizza and we were driving by and saw Romeo's Pizza. So we decided to stop as we were walking from the parking lot the pizza shop was very well lit. We walked in and we were greeted right away. I noticed that they had a couple of tables in case you wanted to eat there. They also had a cute message on the wall that I decided to take a picture of. We ordered their stuff crust pizza with chicken on it. It was cooked perfectly and even had a bit of a crunch to it that I thought was just amazing! I wasn't a fan of the pizza sauce because it was too sweet for my taste but it tasted fresh. After doing a little research I found that the sauce is there signature. Their sweet California tomato's come all the way from the west coast. So next time I will try something else. Overall, I would say the pizza gets four stars. The only thing I want to address was that we got a pizza with half the chicken and while we were waiting the manager ask could he get this other customer Something to drink while he waits and but didn't offer us the same service. After reheating, found the following points: The good: -the pepperoni is mindblowingly good -the delivery guy was nice and was wearing a mask The bad: -the "original" sauce is sweet. Way too sweet. -there were "bald spots." (spots with no cheese or toppings, just sweet sauce, nonetheless, there was an impressive amount of the pepperoni. Not the cheese, though) -the crust needs salt or butter or something. It had no flavor at all on it's own and was chewy without much crunch. -and again, it was cold and the shop is not far away. So, my order consisted of bread sticks, extra large pizza, and wings, and I have to say while none were bad, none were particularly good either. The pizza was ok, but the sauce was incredibly sweet. That's fine if you prefer sweet sauce but I am more used to a zesty sauce. The breadsticks had the same issue because the same sauce is served with them. The wings on the other hand had great flavor but the texture was off. They were clearly going for crispy but all I got was sad and soggy. They do offer different sauce options, but I went with the "recommended" sauce which is their house made pizza sauce. Maybe the marinara would have been better, but I doubt I will try them again to find out. read more

But most importantly - the people behind this place are very kind, honest, and generous. Our doordash order was stolen by a "Dasher imposter", but the staff went ahead and re-made our order so that we would have our dinner for our party that night - not because we asked, but just because they thought that'd be the nice and gracious thing to do. Liked: -General quality of the added ingredients was pretty good. -Cheese was perfectly fine. -Much quicker delivery than expected. -Driver was wearing a mask. He knocked, set the food down, then backed away to social distance before I could get to the door. Neutral: -A bit too much bread on the pizza for my tastes. Some people might like this; it's just personal preference. Disliked: -The sauce was cloyingly sweet (as someone who ordered a Pepsi and enjoyed it) - very possibly the sweetest pizza sauce I've ever tasted. It was enough to throw off the whole meal. -On the pizza, the cheese pulled away from the bread really easily on a couple of occasions, leaving me with naked bread. Not a major slight, just annoying. Note: I read a response from the owners stating that their marinara sauce is intended to be the more savory option for people who prefer that. This was my first time ordering from Romeo's, and I needed to go deep into Yelp reviews to actually learn that information. I'm a snobby NY pizza guy from up north blah blah no one does crust like NY blah blah I miss the traffic and a-holes blah blah. Ok so this isn't NY pizza. I mean they'll eat it but it's not like they'll crawl up our butts begging us for it. They loved Romeo's. They normally feel pizza doesn't have enough flavor. They housed a whole medium. I know what you're thinking. Oh boy the kids loved it. That means it takes like balls. Please stop it. My kids actually have decent taste. Anywho, since I was testing driving them, I also ordered a small batch of garlic/parm buffalo wings. They were small, underwhelming and didn't really pop with flavor but were cooked perfectly. I love wings. ASo you have context, I always compare wings to either JD's or Cluck U. God I wish they would open a Cluck U down here. I ordered online on a Monday at 6pm. Website said 45 minutes and it arrived in 25 minutes. So not only did I get my delivery, I got it early AND hot. Most important, I actually received the order. I'm looking at you Namoli's. Went for a late night dinner run. I have to say it wasn't terrible but it didn't wow me either. The customer service was good. It was actually the owner making our order that evening which was good to see that he was hands on. We ordered the build your own Stromboli with chicken, spinach, jalapeños and broccoli and the spicy garlic boneless wings. The boneless wings were nothing special which was probably the most disappointing part. Expected more than some generic "frozen food isle" type nuggets with sauce. The Stromboli had really good flavor I will say but barely had any chicken in it which is what killed it for me. Most times Stromboli is overflowing with meat and fillings but this time was more dough and sauce. Could have been an off night..I'm sure we will try again at some point when in town but this particular night it just didn't do it for us! read more
