Their Wings ($12.99 for six fried wings with a choice of sauce, I got their sweet chili). Cooked hard, perfectly battered, & that sauce jumped the up from a LIKE THAT to a STAMP!! DELICIOUS. Their Cheesesteak Combo Lunch Special ($13.50 for a small cheesesteak with onions, provolone, mayo, & green peppers, with fries, & limeade). The steak n cheese was good, I just needed more umpf. STAMP that limeade, & those fries were hot, & LIKE THAT!! STAMP!! Their Grilled Chicken Sandwich ($12.49 with seasoned grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, & mayo on a brioche bun). THIS is my new favorite grilled chicken sandwich!! Super Thick, well seasoned (tasted the oregano in this), fulfilling, & tasty!! LIKE THAT! Their Bacon Cheeseburger ($13.49 with beef patties, lettuce, tomato, onion, American cheese, bacon, ketchup, & pickles on a brioche bun). I don't know where they are sourcing their ingredients from, but this burger was a nice quality!! STAMP!! Their Supreme Jumbo Slice ($5.99 for a huge slice with pepperoni, onions, black olive, & green peppers with a Berry Mint Refresher mixed with Lemonade-Lunch Special 11 a.m.-2 p.m.) This was a top tier jumbo slice with a tasty crust, not overly anything, with that STAMPED drink!! STAMP!! Their Desserts ($4.99 for a house prepared Cannoli, & $7.99 for a house prepared Tiramisu). The crunch, & sweet cream in that cannoli. & the butter softness with that tiramisu HIT!! . A mom and pop establishment that is well worth a visit or 10. During those late night cravings no need to worry - they've got you covered! Great place to get a great meal. Location: easly located amongst what I now have deemed the pizza triangle. Staff: a husband and wife duo who are equally friendly with new customers and their regulars. I decided to dine in and was witness to several regulars coming in. The husband and wife genuinely seemed to care about them as individuals and their local community. It's not a requirement by any means but a nice change to see n the DMV's fast-paced self-serving environment. Food: it was an explosion of flavors. The establishment uses beef pepperoni rather than traditional pork, which, in my opinion, made a world of difference. Another honorable mention is that the sauce is made from scratch. I couldn't quite put my finger on why the food was so tasty. Atmosphere: relaxed and peaceful. I was delighted to hear that they offered both dine in and take out. Delivery is offered, but be aware that local services will increase the overall cost. Parking: Street parking can be found on the main street and side streets. a problem in most places in the area, but I found a place to park fairly easily. Prices: great specials offered throughout the week, but their regular prices are extremely competitive when considering the quality and taste of the food. I am looking forward to visiting this establishment again and trying more on the menu. There are regular favorites, and for what you get, why not experiment? Highly recommend that you stop by despite all of the options available they offer a little something special that is often difficult to find! read more

I called in for a to-go order on a rainy Wednesday night, and got a small meat lovers pizza with lemon cake. I don't think the pizza was worth it as it reminded me of dry frozen pizza that I could've baked myself for a fraction of the cost. The lemon cake was delicious however! The owners were very sweet when I went to pick up my food and even gave me a small discount-- an even $20 instead of $21 and some change haha. I would come back to try their cheesesteaks, but would avoid the pizza in all honesty. read more

As a picky pizza fanatic, I am always on the look-out for good pizza for carry out. Rome's fit the bill. I got their vegetable pizza. VERY KIND owners. Humble, even. And the quality of pizza FAR outweighs their prices! They use beef pepperoni & it gives them a subtly unique taste that I wouldn't have even considered otherwise. The pizza was ok, but the penne Alfredo was so delicious!!! Best I've ever had!!! The owners were husband and wife and they were extremely friendly!!!! I went with my mother and father!!!!! Definitely worth the money, time, and drive!!! The inside could probably use some updating (it's a late night grab-'n' go joint, after all. They are open until 3 A.M.), but I still enjoyed the food!! Both owners greeted me kindly upon entering. The place felt clean and inviting. A Hallmark movie played on a nearby TV screen. I ordered and my wife sat outside. The woman gave us complimentary water and offered to unlock the bathroom for us. She smiled at our dog and asked if she liked pizza. We assured her that she did. I'm giving this place 5 stars based on three things I experienced today! Affordable hot and fresh made pizza, clean dining area upstairs and good customer service. I have to admit that I originally went to Pete's across the street and after a bit of a wait with two antsy children, I needed a plan B. I open my yelp app and look for reviews for this place which is right across the street. The most recent reviews weren't the best but I was in need of a quick solution and I found one. I trudged the wee ones across the street and went inside. Saw a man standing there eating a slice and asked how the pizza was and he said good but I should order a whole fresh pie! I looked at the prices and thought, yippee! I can get an XX 18" large cheese pie for 12.99?! Enough to bring some to my two dancers that I knew would be starving after a 4 hour class! I ordered the pizza and bought two cans of sprite ($1.00/ea) and my total was just over 16 bucks, with tax!! Now this place doesn't have a gourmet name attached to it like Pete's but the pizza was good! Comparing the two would be silly of me so I went into this place with the mindset that it is a neighborhood pizza joint. Cheap and no frills. The pizza was not too saucy and had a good amount of cheese! My two year old ate a slice and a half and her brothers crust, whereas when we go to Pete's she will only eat a half slice. (See pics). We went upstairs and the gentleman behind the counter told me there was a tv up there and we could turn it on and if I wanted to I could get the remote and change the channel. I did! Found a cartoon for the kids and it kept them in their seats and entertained while they ate! This was a much better alternative to having them run around the studio! Less stress for me. The dining area was very clean and a lady brought our pizza upstairs with plates and utensils and was kind enough to bring the remote back downstairs for me. So, for me this was a gem because I'm in this area multiple times, every week trying to kill time with 2 small children while waiting for my other children to finish their activities. I will now create a pizza budget for this place and may even try other things on the menu. Will update accordingly but as of this visit, I'm happy and didn't find one thing to complain about. read more

they are open all the time and the lunch special is a great deal + pizza is freshly made so i dont have anything bad to say. but i got a single slice for $3 which was slightly bigger than a normal slice, but maybe 50-60% size of a jumbo slice. the flavor of the cheese and sauce of pizza did give school lunch vibes (which is fine). the crust was really really hard though, but not even thick. idk what the crust was, but it was not thin crust, by the slice crust, cornmeal crust, or pillowy takeout chain crust. hurt my mouth to chew read more

This is the real deal. Small wife and husband team throwing fresh dough with tangy sauce and a panoply of high quality toppings. Varied menu and good cheer abounds, alas we only had time for a pie during the snow storm. It was well seasoned and prepared with precision and care. Bravo Rome pizza we will be back. Been meaning to write a review about this place. Husband and wife owners. Psychotic. Yelled at me for filling a tiny salad dressing container halfway with parmesan cheese on a takeout order. Yelled at me! Like, sorry I wanted to put some cheese on my pizza when I get home. Is that against your religion or something? They said Parmesan cheese is only for dine in customers. (What??) I don't understand how business owners can have adversarial relationships with their clients and yet still survive. If I had it my way, no one would spend money here. They'd protest outside the door everyday demanding politeness to clients. These two are always angry. Fine, but don't take it out on your customers. Or in my case, 'former' customer. read more

I ordered through Postmates and after having them cancel my delivery over 45 PASSED the eta the owner called me...a very sweet lady explained the situation and that she didn't want to leave me hungry in the middle of the night. Her husband, THE OWNER, then hand delivered my pizza at 3AM. I AM BESIDE MYSELF. Ladies and gentlemen, this is service. My office frequently orders from Rome. One of us is very picky and always requests no onions, which they accommodate every time. They are also very timely and I've never had to wait for my food when I come to pick it up. The menu is diverse and I tend to stick to the items I know are good. Comments on item's I've ordered: - Chicken Caesar Wrap. Lot's of good chicken. All around good item. - Philly Cheesesteak. A nice, juicy sub. - Rome Cheeseburger. This burger is pretty decent and is one of the larger lunch items on the menu that isn't a calzone. That said, it's not as juicy as a five guys or z burger and is probably a little overpriced. I only get it if I'm especially in the mood. The downside: they don't take american express. read more
