Roma's is SO good!! Wish we lived here and not just passing through!! We got a to go order and everything was absolutely delicious. Ravioli and the sauce were spot on and the fettuccini Alfredo the best we've ever had!! Garlic rolls have wonderful texture and flavor. Highly recommend!!!! read more

I will start out with the not so good. Extremely warm in there and there was an issue with flies. However, they moved us near a ceiling fan and that seemed to help with both. We started with Calamari Do NOT ORDER. They looked like breaded French fries and extremely rubbery. Ate 1/2 and didn't touch them again. Our salads came out next and we tried the house dressing that was made with marinara and vinaigrette. I was hesitant but surprised on how good it was. You do need to give it a good stir before putting it on. Next was chicken piccata. I had the add onion and artichokes. Wow it was delicious and it came out with a hot 1/2 lemon. Highly recommend!!! I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the starters, no AC and flies. But the servers did try to make us comfortable read more

Food: amazing so far. Everything we've tried has been freshly made (at least it taste like it) and delicious! The place itself could use some renovations. Service is not so great. Although they try their best.. we always end up waiting at least 40 mins for our appetizers and between 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hours for our main dish. They really need more people in the kitchen because one person back there all the time isn't going to cut it. once or twice we have seen a second person but 95% of the time it's just the owner I believe. If only the had more people in the kitchen for faster service, I'd come more often! read more

Everything was great here!! My family LOVED this restaurant! We would call it the hidden gem of Clovis, don't let the building fool you it is AMAZING!! Mario and his family are kind, amazing people who care about your experience! read more

Call before to make sure they are still open and what time they close. Cheese bread good. Fresh, soft, good size of loaf. Sauce hits the spot Mozzarella sticks .. Low carb chicken plate... really love the fact that this was on the menu. Light but fulfilling Chicken Marcela it was ok to much wine on the sauce . Spaghetti and meat sauce.. home made sauce their speciality . Really good love this. Salad ..fresh however ranch was watered down. Ambiance... simple nothing to flashy. Enough seating , fast services. Would recommend this place for anyone that is traveling through Clovis. read more

I've never been big on Italian food, but this place more than exceeded my expectations . I highly recommend Roma's to anyone trying to find delicious food in Clovis read more

Food very reminiscent of my home city. South Philadelphia, PA. Enjoying the food in several instances. Service was excellent both in delivery and attitude. My guest and I were treated as consumers, not booth fillers. Our parting conversation centered on when we were planning on returning, not on should we return. I'm recommending that you take this opportunity to enjoy a non-travel visit to dear Italia. read more

The outside of this place isn't the nicest and lacks some upkeep. The inside isn't too thrilling either. Some of the booths have large rips. Besides the dining atmosphere, the food was hit or miss. The complimentary bread was yummy, the stuffed mushrooms were just perfect, but my actual entree (the Ham and Spinach tortellini) was very underwhelming and lacked some serious flavor. The tomato sauce from my moms spaghetti was very acidic and wasn't seasoned. Almost like just a can of tomato sauce. I hope to maybe order something else next time I visit and give this place a second chance. read more

Great food and great people! We were seated very quickly and the owner let us know they only had one chief so food would be coming out a little slower. We had already expected to wait because they were so busy but to get that communication from the gate was very nice. Portions may look on the smaller side but they're very flavorful and filling! We just got back from Itay last year and it was nice to have quality homemade food (: read more

This place is surprisingly good. My date and I had the meat lovers, two side salads and the fried calamari. All of it was very, very good! The pizza especially! You can tell it was hand made and that brick-oven-baked crust was perfect! It's a charming place and definitely worth the stop! read more

Hit-or-miss of good and bad food. Would be a good idea to order variety off the menu to figure out what is good here. Customer service was good. Thin crust lovers, like me, will enjoy the pizza here. I got the meatlovers and would order pizza from Roma's again. Garlic knots have a lovely crescent roll or phyllo dough quality. Customer service was great. I did not like the experience with the pasta. I wasn't amazed by the fettuccine alfredo that everyone in town recommended. It was a little too al dente but I suppose you could request softer noodles. Pasta was swimming in a in a pool of thin white sauce with minimal flavor. It had a shrimp-y smell. Could just be the type of cheese or seasoning. I paid to add chicken and this made all the difference. Adding the well seasoned breaded chicken is recommended. The chicken was the salt the pasta needed. I don't want to discuss the salad because it is depressing. read more

I've eaten here a few times and I've come to a conclusion that I'm not a fan of this restaurant. I love Italian restaurants! I know they TRY very hard to provide a good service but seem to miss the mark. How so? Was greeted and sat promptly. After 10 minutes or so the waitress can back to take my order (she was chatting with people she kinda knew at another table). Once order was in my salad came out but didn't have the dressing I expected on it so I was going to ask for something different. BUT she disappeared to chat more with her friends. After about 15 minutes she cane back to check on me. I just let the salad stay and ask for parmigiano cheese to sprinkle on it. My food/order eventually came out in a small bowl. I order the Trio dish. It didn't look like much but was plentiful from being smashed together. I wasn't impressed as the three dishes normally taste different when separate as I expected them to come out like at OG. I think on a previous visit the dish was separated. The temp throughout the whole meal was uncomfortable the whole time. It felt like I was sitting outside. There are a couple Italian restaurants in Lubbock that are amazing that will be where I go when I have a taste for Italian food. I can't recommend this place but will say to read reviews to see how to possibly better your visit if you decide to go. read more

My husband and I have been in Clovis for 2 years and just now got around to trying Roma's! It was soooo good and so much better than we expected. We had garlic bread and Italian sausage to start, then I had tortellini and he had chicken parmesan. Everything was delicious and came out pretty quickly. We had a cannoli for dessert and it was so good- the shell was crunchy and not soggy at all! Highly recommend and will be back! read more

I have been to Roma's several times over the past year. The first few times I went I ordered the spinach ravioli. It was really tasty (homemade ravs), but the portion was pretty small. About the third time I visited I asked the waitress what her favorite meal was. Without hesitating she said "Chicken Roma or anything with the pink sauce". I could not agree more. I order the Chicken Roma every time I go now. There are some things I am not a fan of on the menu (hence the missing star), but overall if you stick the the yummy pink sauce you are set. The service has been very good and the chef is very kind and welcoming. After many visits here we will continue to go back often. read more

Dismal. Doesn't serve liquor. How do you eat Italian food without wine. Interior is depressing. Didnt eat here after I walked in.

Wonderful experience every time. The bread is heavenly so light and fluffy yet a nice bite to the crust. The stuffed mushrooms were great. The pizza is a true Italian thin crust with good crunch. We'll be back. read more

The food was delicious! I had the eggplant parmigiana and my wife had the spinach ravioli. Both 5/5 dishes in my opinion. The parmigiana had a rich tomato sauce and perfectly cooked spaghetti. The eggplant was tender with a crunchy breading. Best I've ever had. The wait staff was kind and personable. I definitely will be returning. read more

Best Pizza in Clovis bar none. Once you bite into the crust it magically almost melts away in your mouth. Absolutely amazing. The only issue seems to be that they are not open on a consistent basis but let's face it there a family run restaurant and their food surpasses any other Italian food in Clovis. Give them a try or seven and support small businesses. read more

I honestly stopped here because I was trying to find dinner and the sun was in my eyes while driving. When I went inside, there was only one other table of people... a little concerning but I decided to give it a try anyway. I order the chicken Parmesan. It came out in a reasonable amount of time and the price wasn't bad. The chicken was really good, far better than I had expected. The only downside to the meal was that the tomato sauce they used on the pasta was slightly bland. If I had it to do over, I think I'd get some alfredo to add some more flavor to the pasta. Overall I liked the dish and would eat here again if in the area. read more

Y'all, when I say this is REAL, AUTHENTIC Italian food, I MEAN IT! I'm not too big on Italian food really, and I LOVE pasta, so my significant other suggested we go here and we've lived here our whole lives, so I looked at the menu online and already knew I wanted Shrimp Alfredo, so that's what we ordered. SPOT. ON. It was gone under 10 mins for both of us, it was creamy, and the sauce was phenomenal, shrimp tasted great and the owner cooks himself. A little slow on service at first but it was 100% worth the wait and we will for SURE be back again soon!! read more

Wow! Where do I even start. If you want pasta but you also want soup get the Alfredo I would highly recommend! Also, if you really do enjoy canned great value chicken then Roma's on Mabry is the place for you! If you want a pizza that could be outdone by a Totinos party pizza then by golly do I have a location for you. Oh! I almost forgot. The best part of the night. The Canoli, rock solid and filled with Cadbury creme egg cream and topped with Hershey's chocolate chips then you are in for a treat! In conclusion. I paid 18.37 for the most unique "Italian" food experience located right off 60-84 in Clovis, New Mexico. Dive in and enjoy! read more

Wow what amazing food and service. Very friendly staff and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a great meal.

With so few choices in Clovis (perhaps because it is 'under-Yelped'), I took the wife and kids to Roma's based on Yelp reviews. Although we were quickly seated and service was attentive, I think the quality and value were just not there for me. I mean the Kids meals were $5.99 - which is pricey in any town in the Southwestern US. My wife and I both had house salads which had had no spring mix or romaine lettuce - it was all iceberg lettuce (yuck...but in fairness, it did include 2 banana peppers and one slice of tomato). The Spinach ravioli ($9.99) was good, but contained only 4 raviolis. The only thing noteworthy for me was that the their pesto sauce on this dish was very good - but is was just not enough to offset the undersized portion. :-( My son Grant has the Fettuccine Alfredo and the sauce was nice and creamy with a noticeable garlic component. At least for this visit, they earned a solid 3 stars...but when I am passing through Clovis again, I'll probably check out other dining options before I'd return to Roma's. The garlic bread was decent, but not noteworthy. read more

This place reminds me of home. Grew up in northeast Ohio with lots of Italian restaurants. The pasta is home made and it tastes it. My father use to made the best home made cheese ravioli! Seems like few Italian restaurants out West make their own pasta. Even Albuquerque had only two restaurants that made their own pasta! ( one closed because of the pandemic). Come here for the cheese tortellini. Yes, the salads are not so good, but folks I come here for the home made pasta! read more

First time and will definitely not the last. I ordered chopped clams linguine and it's really good. Pasta is al dente (seems like homemade noodle). Well seasoned. My friend and I went here last week. It took awhile to receive our drinks. They had a party in the back but no one was sitting in the front. When I told the waitress what I wanted she persistently tried to talk me out of putting spinach in my Alfredo pasta because she said that she wouldn't like spinach in her Alfredo pasta and urged me to get the ravioli with spinach because she thought it would taste better. The food was very good and I will probably eat there again. read more
