It is meaty and filling and hearty and good. The chicken wings were chicken wings. I could have really used a spicy, spicy, 'burn the seams off a baseball hot' option. But I still enjoyed them. It's hard to find good hot wings. However, Poppy's wings will stave-off the hot wing craving when it strikes. The meatball sandwich was pretty good, although I thought the marinara sauce could have been spicier. Like I said, I like things with a kick. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. I love this business and the food. Give Poppy's a try. You'll be glad you did.

I was told, "Oh, it should be out in just a few minutes." Another 10 minutes passed before my pizza finally came out. When it did, the quality was absolutely terrible. The pizza looked and tasted like something you'd expect from a concession stand, not a sit-down pizza place. Poor preparation, low quality, and clearly rushed despite the long wait. If you're going to make customers wait nearly an hour, the food should at least be worth it. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing from start to finish, both in service and food quality.

I found an individual who takes his craft very seriously. He makes the dough, and the sauce himself. The pizza was so good, I asked him to make another one for me, that I took on the road with me. The second pizza did not make it to my final destination. If driving by Hayes, Lomato's is worth the stop. Don't miss an opportunity.

Cheyenne who happened to be very sweet and had great eye shadow for the 4th. She was the only one working the floor and the front and seriously busting her ass. There was only 1 other group when we got there and then the whole place filled up in addition to pick up orders. She was managing, serving, taking phone orders, filling orders, and even working the back! She was always very pleasant when we spoke to her and kept apologizing. I really wanted to help her but felt I would make things worse. I really want her to be acknowledged for how hard she was working. It's clear she cares about her job and her customers and should not have been the only one on the floor. Good job Cheyenne the food was great and I hope you got a lot of tips!!
