My husband has not stopped raving about his pizza. I haven't had steak in so long because it's pricey where we live so I was excited to have one. The only recommendation I would have for the kids menu is that they double the portion of spaghetti and take away the side. Our server was excellent. It was a little loud when we got there but a kids baseball team was finishing up. After they left, it was quiet. Nice restaurant. Glad we checked it out during our trip.

Will never eat there again... If your not a 'regular' then you get ignored. Can't believe they treated a veteran like that... The obviously young woman who was 'bar tending' was more interested in watching tv than working. The woman cooking doesn't know how to cook... Went in when it was dead and no one in there, got ignored for 20 minutes before someone took our order. It took them 1 hour to cook our order and make it wrong. Fried mushrooms were still frozen, sweet potatoe fries were so burnt they were black, hamburger was burned... Buns were stale... As we waited on our food more people came in and were acknowledged as regulars... They sat down and ordered and within 15 minutes they were eating while we waited. The cook and bar tender forgot we were there... Worst service ever! Service - 0 stars Food - 0 stars Atmosphere - 1/2 star Customer service - 0 stars Overall rating: .5 stars Only reason they stay open is because they are the only place open on the weekend serving dinner other than pizza hut and gambino' pizza. I'd rather take a chance eating at gambino's pizza and risk my health because at least you know what to expect from their consistently dirty establishment and stale food.

I would describe their menu as pub comfort food. Lots of good choices and excellent prices. Applebee's is one of the most famous restaurants here in Great Bend. I went a Sunday night, around…read more9.30 p.m. I am going to base my opinion on three criteria: service, quality and price of the food, and the environment. I am going to start with the environment because it's the first thing you notice when you walk in. The lights give you a warm welcome to the restaurant. The vibes that the restaurant spread change your mood. The environment stimulates you it does not matter if you are tired, angry or just stressed, all that goes away the moment you walk in. Also, Applebee's has a Karaoke night every Sunday, which is another highlight of its atmosphere. The food price is another feature of this place. They have affordable prices and the quantity of food you get is satisfactory. I got the Oriental Chicken Salad with Krispy chicken. It was a mix of flavors in my mouth. Without a doubt one of the best salads that I've ever had. As well, Applebee's has deals in some dishes, you can get two for 20,25 or 30 dollars. Also, you can have half-price appetizers every day past 9 p.m. on weekdays and past 10 p.m. on weekends. I tried the mozzarella sticks and believe me, they were exquisite, I loved the texture and the sauce goes perfect with them. The service I got was coherent with the fact that the restaurant was packed. The waiter took care of my order as soon as he could, and he apologized for the wait. Even though he was checking on me while I was waiting for my order I did not feel overwhelmed. Overall, Applebee's is a restaurant that you must try if you are in Great Bend. It has cheap prices, tasty food, and the environment makes you want to come back. Without a shadow of a doubt, I would recommend Applebee's.
