I was surprised also that none of the reviews I read talked about the feedlot smells that overwhelmed the hotel, inside and out. I understand most places in Central Kansas smell like this when the wind blows a certain way but it blew me away; but we made due. Beds were comfy. Lots of channels on the tv. Pool was NOT heated and needed cleaned more often. Beware- tile is slippery so watch your littles. Overall, not a bad stay.

When they fire up the old neon Crest sign along with the flashing lights, it takes you back to a simpler time (or for me, a very simple time since I wasn't born yet). The building is not immaculate, but it is more than adequate. It has a large seating area along with a balcony with additional seating. The old style seats add to the nostalgia factor. The performances are always entertaining. It's not Broadway, but for a small town I think they put on a good show typically. Tickets are very affordable. Go enjoy a good show in a historic venue!
