He felt like an old school honest dentist. For the appointment in summer 2011, he sat me down to give a second opinion on cavities. When he sat me down, I gave him my x-rays, and he put them in the lamp, and showed me my teeth closely. After inspecting them, he looked in my mouth and closely inspected them. The only thing he saw was a tooth that has a unique but normal enamel formation. There were no cavities. So he said that they will send a reminder to come back for a check up in six months, and that I had no cavities. However, he did notice that my wisdom teeth needed to be removed, and recommended that I have the two top ones removed, and gave a recommendation to another oral surgeon, Joseph Devylder, who is another great dentist. This dentist was the first I saw as an adult out of college so the pain after a cleaning is one reason (among others) I now require nitrous. Regarding availability, I tried to reschedule my appointment before I moved at the end of 2015 but they were scheduling for at least 3 months out. I didn't know what a reasonable cost for cleanings was, but now that I have been in CA and have insurance, the cost I have paid with this practice ($220?) seems high. In my opinion, nothing about the practice really justified the cost or difficulty scheduling - especially since they don't have nitrous for anxious patients like me.

I hate to admit that, but prior dentists had scared me off with unnecessary procedures and used car sales man type personalities. He was recommended to me by a friend who has been going to him for years. Dr. Sendroff is very good with nervous patients. I am 30 something going on five years old when I'm in the dental chair. I found him very thorough, calming, kind and will explain procedures before and while things are happening. His receptionist and wife Paula is a gem and super sweet. The hygenist is also great and quite funny! They've got a great practice. Plus you get a flower at the end of the visit, now my work knows that every time I return from a long absence with a flower I was at the dentist.

WHOOPS. I had two visits at my "in=network" dentist and realized it paled in comparison to Dr. Sendroff's office. Literally everything you can rate in a dentist's office was better in Dr. Sendroff's office. Reception, timeliness, treatment, care, friendliness, technology, across the board. I've recommended him to all my friends and family anytime they ask, and sometimes even when they don't. My teeth stain easily, and can sometimes take some extra work to get clean, but they are thoughtful, careful, gentle and thorough. They get the job done, you can see and feel the cleaning, and its pleasant along the way. If there were six stars, they would get it.

They always ask what kind of music I would like to listen. I think it's a nice personal touch and puts the patient at ease. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Most insurances are accepted. They were able to build a treatment plan that best fit my insurance and minimized my out of pocket costs. The equipment is sanitized, modern and some of the 3D modeling and printing stuff is very cool. You don't have to wait weeks for a follow up visit anymore. Mint's team of dentists is also amazing. Dr. Munir was thorough with her exam and walked me through all my options. I didn't feel rushed in choosing a treatment plan and her bedside manners were excellent. Being a regular here I have also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kassam and Dr. Bradshaw. Their professionalism and attention to patient care will always have me coming back for future treatment.
