The new front desk guy is terrible compared to Mary. The office is not the same, I no longer recommend.

I've been a patient at RDC for about six years, and without hesitation, I can say this is one of…read morethe best dental practices I have ever experienced. I've had a significant amount of dental work over the course of my life, so I don't say that lightly. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. They consistently provide thoughtful, careful care and make you feel completely comfortable and well-informed at every step. Their attention to detail and patient-centered approach truly sets them in their own league. Dr. Cheung is, hands down, the best dentist I have ever seen. I've undergone major restorative dental work with her, and her skill, precision, and expertise are extraordinary. Beyond her technical ability, she is compassionate, thorough, and takes the time to ensure you understand everything. You can tell she deeply cares about her patients and takes tremendous pride in her work. If you are considering switching dental practices, I highly recommend RDC without hesitation. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Cheung and her outstanding team. They are exceptional in every way.

And that I would have to go somewhere else to get it fixed after the fact that they're the ones that chipped my tooth and this all came from Ali Miamee the owner lol. They told me to come back to get it fixed all just for ali to basically laugh in my face and tell me that I'm not going to get it fixed today. And that I have to go somewhere else. Then proceed to tell the staff to flag my account and that I can no longer make appointments there.

I have been here for three cleanings and one tooth repair. Great overall but I have one complaint…read more The hygienists verbalize the fluoride treatment as a statement more than a question when they are actually likely trying to get consent for providing the service. My past two dental insurances only cover this service for children 16 and under and is not covered for adults. The hygienist said it was covered and I ended up having to pay OOP. Two hygienists have verbalized it in this way. It's likely a 2 minute procedure that lets them make $40-50 hence why they do this. It's not a good business practice to not clearly and fully inform the patient. Parking is good, dentist is good. Equipment seems very updated and has the TV screen that you can watch from the chair. They seem to be taking COVID very seriously with precautions. Automated text appointment reminders are a plus. Their website for filling out forms and consistency/clarity of instructions is lacking. Also their tablets for filling out the information is not the most responsive.

I changed insurance when I was on a different dental plan and visited this dentist as they were close by. The dentist who examined me proposed many procedures, totally about $2000 and I was surprised and very skeptical of this. I visited my trusted dentist yesterday, not explaining to them all the dental work the Reston dentist suggested. Upon examination, my previous dentist confirmed that no procedures were necessary and I remain angry that this Reston dental office tried to extort money out of me and/or my insurance company for procedures that were entirely not necessary.

I first called the one that was in the same building as me and was surprised they were able to get me in the same day. I went down on my lunch break and was amazed at their customer service. Upon arrive the lady at the front desk asked me if I felt up to it enough to be given a tour of the office which I agreed to and loved she cared enough to ask. She showed me the sink and toothbrush and toothpaste they keep in the reception area for people to be able to freshen up prior to their appointments and then showed me around to the rest of the office going by the hygienist area, the treatment/Dr. Myles area followed by the billing and office manager area before coming back up front. I love if you do arrive early they do have a quite room with a t.v. in there especially for those of us who get anxious being at the dentist office. After a few minutes I was called back to have my 360 xrays done and my wing bites. Once those were put on the screen the dr assistant came back and did a quick exam and determined which tooth was hurting and soon after Dr. Myles came back and did a through exam and confirmed the tooth. He stated it was my wisdom tooth and it was just better to go ahead and have all of them pulled at once so I wouldn't have further problems with them down the road and be back in the same boat. He also informed me I had some other problem areas so once I went to the Oral surgeron and had those teeth pulled to come back and see him for a deep cleaning and to start the repair work on getting my teeth back in order which I knew I needed done for a long time. Overall, a great experience and I love how friendly and down to early Dr. Myles once and he was able to keep my anxiety down in an already painful situation. Even though he wasn't able to help me at that moment they were able to make sure I got into the oral surgeon they work with ASAP so that they could see how in depth my procedure would be and give me an plan of attack for getting my teeth removed safely (I have seizures). I will be back to get the rest of my work done and think for the first time in my adult life I have actually found a dentist I trust.
