I called these guys this morning at 10am to ask about cleaning my gutters since I has a bad downspout clog and water was overflowing. They gave me a quote and were able to get out there within a couple of hours to get the work done. They sent text updates and pictures and my gutters are now working great. read more

Hector and his team are sensational. I called Hector to come and clear our driveway, walkway, and sidewalk, which were covered in heavy, dense, snow. He was kind, a clear communicator, and showed up ASAP with a crew of three and they had the work done in 35 minutes. Total professionals, honest and friendly--I highly recommend RT Trees and am planning on using them again for other handywork around the house! read more

Great response during Blizzard of 2022! Let me know by text when he showed up. Excellent job! I have a corner lot and am unable to shovel. He came and walla, all done! read more

I had a tree that was partially uprooted and was leaning to the side. It was just a matter of time before it fell and caused serious damage to my property and my neighbors'. Prior to contacting Roman Tree Services, my husband and I had contacted several other companies, many of whom either didn't respond to our inquiries, told us to call back in a few days because they were busy, or didn't show up to give us estimates. Roman Tree Services not only gave us their estimate based on the pictures I had taken but also offered a much more reasonable estimate than others, and actually showed up and removed the tree only 4 days later. They did a fantastic job removing it and clean up! Personable and nice group of hardworking men. Highly recommend Roman Tree Services! read more

Roman Tree Service is fantastic. I reached out to Hector to ask about tree and shrub removal - we tried to coordinate a time to meet at the property but my schedule didn't accommodate (Hector was super flexible but I was not able to be). So I sent pictures of the job; Hector gave an estimate; I tagged the trees, etc I wanted to have removed --- and a couple of days later Hector was there with his crew making magic happen! Hector sent me pictures all along the way showing their progress, which was great. The final cost was in line with the estimate. Our experience with Hector and Roman Tree Services was perfect! Hope to work with them again. read more

I highly recommend Hector and his team - they were easy to communicate with, efficient, thorough, and friendly. We will definitely be using their services again! read more

Home improvement, remodeling, and upkeep can be stressful- especially when you trust others to care about your home the same way they'd care for their own. We always assumed late arrivals, shoddy work, and just plain negligence were normal for Houston... but Hector and the RT Trees team break the mold! My husband called on a Friday, and they were here first thing Saturday morning. Hector and Elizabeth did a wonderful job cleaning our gutters and trimming our trees (the latter being an impromptu decision made by all). Being quick and efficient, they didn't interrupt our Saturday. Supporting family businesses is very important to us, as we operate one ourselves. Veterans and Houston newcomers are just as important too! RT Trees fills all of these categories, so they were a natural fit for us. I would recommend RT Trees and Hector to ANYONE looking for tree/gutter/landscape work in the Houston area. It's hard to find good people, and we are lucky to have found RT Trees. Thanks Hector and Elizabeth! read more

Hector has taken down some trees for us twice in our small but heavily wooded yard in Rozzie. In both cases he was quick to come and quote the work and also fit us in quite quickly. We prefer to keep the wood, and he's been amenable to that, too. we'd absolutely call him again for additional tree service needs. read more

Great work, easy communication! I had a large dead tree cut down for a fair price. Quote was done with pictures over the phone, which was great. read more

I had two 30+ ft dead trees waiting to fall on my neighbors fence and some power lines. After a few others passed on the opportunity Hector came through with solutions to minimize risk and get the job done at a fair price. He helped temporarily take down the fence to avoid damage and his team had the expertise to work around the dead branches and lines. Definitely appreciate his hard work in removing those liabilities from the yard. Even put the fence back up and hauled off all the wood before he was done. read more

Roman Tree Services - Tree Services Near Me

So we needed our gutters cleaned pretty bad. After a few calls we came across this company. I spoke with Hector, the owner, for a few minutes, gave dimensions and sent pics for review. After conversing we decided to allow Hector and crew to come out. First off, they informed us of their ETA and arrived on time! Awesome because not a lot of companies show up when they say they are. Second, big plus was they are open on Saturday's, which worked out very well for us. And third, very reasonably priced for the amount of debris in the gutters. Very personable and easy to talk to. Definitely will call them again in the future! Thanks again! Side note: this took place during a somewhat rainy day. They hung around till the rain broke, got to work, and finished in a timely manner. Great job! read more

I strongly recommend Hector and his team. We first contacted Hector for gutter cleaning - supreme job at a good price. We then had Hector help with pruning and again had a first-rate experience. Hector is now helping us with snow removal this season. He is super responsive (very important for snow emergencies), friendly, and professional. Price is also great for the amount of work he and his crew have done. We will definitely call Hector again for future work around the house. read more

I can not say enough good things bout Hector & Roman Tree Services! Our home inspector had noted when we purchased that the trees touching the house should be trimmed back. So I decided to try the Home Advisor route at first, they matched me with three companies that came out to quote the job. We decided to go with the company that came in best for our budget. This company said they could do the job at the price, because they had another smaller job in the area and they would do them both the same day and keep the cost down. After they had agreed to do the job they never arrived on the day and did not return my phone calls or text messages. The next day I decided to see what options I could find on Yelp. I called three companies and Hector was the only one that called me back (he did so within about an hour.) He was going to be in the area later that morning and stopped in to see what we needed. I told him what had happened and roughly what the other companies had quoted. He said that they probably underbid and that is why they didn't return my calls. I understood that maybe it was would cost more than I expected so we discussed what I would be comfortable spending and we settled on a great price to trim back the trees that worked for both of us. In the end I honestly can say he did above and beyond. He came back that same afternoon and got started on the work. He texted me when he left that he would be back the next afternoon to finish the work. Unfortunately there was a bad storm that night and he had an emergency with another customer but texted me to let me know this and that he would be back the next day. He and the guys came back that day to finish and left the property as spotless as when he arrived. In the end we got all the clearance distance and removal from the more expensive quotes, for a price that was comfortable to a recently new home owner. If you are looking for tree services, Hector and the Roman Tree crew are for you! read more

Hector was very responsive and a pleasure to do business with - the crew did a great job removing the fallen tree branch after a storm. I was very pleased with the work they did and will definitely use them in the future and recommend them very highly. Thank you so much for doing a great job and for making this an all around easy process! read more

Roman Tree Service did a fantastic job landscaping my yard and removing a lot of debris. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them as our landscaper moving forward. Hector is very professional, quick to respond, and was easy to work with. Him and his team put in a lot of work to get my yard in order. read more

This was my second time hiring Hector and his team to trim trees around our house. I'm so impressed with how easy it is to get a quote, schedule, and interact with him and his team. We had several weak and dead branches removed and then they cleared all the debris and left the driveway and yard in the same condition as it was when they arrived, very efficient. Good work, efficient, and reliable! I will always use and refer their services! read more

This team puts the "PRO" in professional. Starting with my first contact, Maygen responded immediately to all my questions. Hector and his team transformed our old, tired trees into their former vibrant beauty. In addition to tree work, they worked non-stop cleaning up our garden and patio area. Before they came I felt like our home was being swallowed up by overgrown trees and hedges, but now it feels like a breath of fresh air. I couldn't be happier with the work from Roman Tree Services. I will definitely call them again in the future. read more

I had a great experience with Hector and his team. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate, and gave me an honest assessment of what needed to be done (tree trimming, deadwood removal). They were able to work within my budget and did everything professionally and cleaned up afterward. They even were able to help with gutter cleaning and poison ivy removal as well. I'll definitely be contacting them again when the need arises and would recommend to anyone in the area. read more

I asked them to cut down two branches that hang over my car. Not only did the cut down those branches, they also cleaned the area around the branches. They are reasonably priced and very nice. Highly recommended. read more

Very reliable service - we needed gutter cleaning and repair, and yard work. It was great to have 'one stop shopping' and not have to deal with two different companies. We also have an old tree that we requested be trimmed but Hector was honest in telling us we would be wasting our money on trimming, since the tree is past the point where that would save it. Hector kept us updated on the progress of the work. Communication was easy via text including before and after photos, and phone calls when needed. His assistants were also reliable. He and his assistants were on time, or prompt to let us know when they weren't coming if bad weather would interfere with the work that was needed. read more

Hector was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and was able to complete the work a few days later. We had some downspout repairs, gutter cleaning, and tree removal done. Hector sent photos as he did the job and was very efficient in his work. I will definitely contact them again in the future when I need more help. read more

I called Hector at RT Trees after witnessing the gutter at the back of my townhouse overflowing during a rainstorm. Water was streaming down to my doors and windows. I had a quote within a couple of hours. Knowing there was more rain on the way, he made a point of it to get to me the next day. He and his crew made short work of my gutter problems, clearing everything out and cleaning up their mess. They offered to address some additional tree problems I had while they were there, and the pricing was perfect. I'm now planning to have them back in the near future for some other work as well. Hector, Elizabeth and Kevin did a great job....And they're Marine Vets, so there's that too! Nothing like good work at a fair price! Win-Win!! read more

Wonderful, Professional, Quality Work for the right price. We needed a large ash tree to be taken down. It took over our backyard, no grass was growing under the canopy. Hector was very responsive to our needs, and even brainstormed other ideas if we wanted to keep the tree. Communication was impeccable and great. He kept us informed every step of the way. Explained the process in detail, and the quote was clear. Punctuality was perfect. Came when he said he would. Even took pictures to show me the progress. His team did a fantastic job in cutting down the tree, grinding the stump, and clean up. Hector and his team went well above and beyond than expected. Cordial and professional go a long way. I will definitely call him again for future work, and I would feel great recommending him to our friends and family. Thanks Hector and Chuck! read more

I called Hector to remove a large, dying tree limb that could have caused real damage to a number of structures and fences for my neighbors and I. Hector quoted a very fair price based on pictures I sent of the project (I also asked him to do a full cleanup of leaves and branches around the house from the fall). His crew came straight away and brought down the limb safely and professionally, and they also did a great job on the rest of the yard. I was very happy with the work and plan having them back for my future projects. read more

Phenomenal! I have never worked with a tree service company before and had called a number of different companies for help with some large branches overhanging my house/shed, as well as stump removal. Hector was incredibly responsive, polite, and helpful. He worked with me to stay within my budget, and his team very quickly took care of the branches of concern while also helping us with a number of other dead trees and brush removal for free. I recommend them for honest, responsive, and fast service to anyone looking for tree services/gutter help! read more

I had a very positive experience with RT Trees. I called them because a tree had died on my property a few years ago and I carelessly let it be. Then it began loosing limbs and there was a real risk that it would fall onto my house or the house next door. RT Trees came out to evaluate the situation and then provided me with a very detailed, and accurate analysis, of what was needed. Moreover, they walked me through pricing options and allowed me to match their services with my budget. I think the thoughtful and intelligent manner of their approach was most important to me because I really want to understand the details of a job like this. Anyway, the tree was safely removed without any damage to the properties at all. The yard was left completely clean of limbs and debris. I'm so thankful for RT Trees and I will bring them back next time around without hesitation. read more

I needed some trees trimmed and Hector and his crew went above and beyond! I'll be looking for more work for them to do! He responded immediately to my inquiry, gave me a quick, fair quote after I sent pics, was there the next morning to do the work (including letting me know when they'd be there and arrived when he said he would), and did an amazing job, even more than I'd asked for, and left the yard clean. And the fact that he was super nice was just icing on the cake. An absolute pleasure to work with all around. read more

Hector and his crew at Roman Tree Services did excellent work trimming 2 trees. He came out to give me a quote. While here I also asked if he'd look at a problem gutter. We agreed on a price and his crew got right to it! They took care of both issues very efficiently, professionally and all with focus on providing great service. I was so glad to find them and get their help. Whether it was in scheduling the appointment or keeping me updated on progress of the job, Hector was always on top of it and a great communicator. If you need your gutters cleaned, look no further! I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They did the best job and were very fairly priced. Since I was not home they texted pictures of what was going on through out the day. Simply the best experience I have had ever! read more

I love businesses that can work around my schedule and communication preferences. We worked entirely by text, with pictures back and forth while I was at work. The trees look fantastic and the the crew didn't make a mess like previous contractors had done in the past. I'd highly recommend RT Trees and will likely call them once very year or two to do my tree trimming. read more

Hector and his team were fast, professional and thorough. He took care of tree trimming all over my property, including oaks, palms and bamboo. He did some intensive work repairing and restoring a gutter that had dislocated from the side of my house, repairing the roof damage and fixing my drainage. They worked fast and showed up on time. I will definitely be using RT Trees again. Update: A couple of the trees shifted a week after the work was complete, and Hector came out to reconfigure his work as a follow up free of charge. Very professional and courteous. read more

Hector and Elizabeth did a wonderful job cleaning our gutters and trimming back our trees. They were professional and on time, the latter being hard to find these days. Along the way, I was updated with pictures of their progress via text messages. They cleaned up all the debris and left everything better than they found it. I would highly recommend them for anything that you need done landscaping wise. Support small/family owned businesses - they do it better! read more

I found RT Trees after being blown off for literally weeks by another tree service. This other very popular tree service will call you back quick, but then have one excuse after another in order to stack customers and keep you waiting until it is convenient for them. Hector is a great businessman. RT trees was not able to meet my needs later in the week, so Hector was very flexible and came earlier than originally discussed. This was wonderful customer service! Hector was able to give an estimate by texting pictures of the tree and stump that needed removal. He stuck with the originally estimated price after the work was done. He took down the tree, and he ground the stumps. Things were done quickly and professionally. He was very easy to pay. I have worked with OTHER contractors that are difficult to pay, and they change the price after the work is done so that there is no opportunity to negotiate. RT Trees did NOT play any of these games. They were straight forward, customer oriented, and professional from start to finish. You should go with this tree service. read more

We'll definitely be using RT Trees again the next time we need our gutters cleaned or a tree timmed! Hector was incredibly responsive, professional and efficient. He and his crew arrived on time and did the job as promised for a reasonable price. Highlights: (1) Upfront honesty and setting of expectations - We live in a free-standing three story house that's pretty common inside the loop (our house is spaced literally a foot from our neighboring twin house). When I called and explained what we were requesting, Hector cautioned that they might not be able to clean the gutter between the two houses, if there isn't room to put a ladder or the roof itself isn't walkable. He said he'd do a drive-by in the morning to check it out. Sure enough, he did and even texted a picture to evidence that he came out. (2) Convenience/Responsiveness - My husband and I both work and it can be challenging to duck out of the office during the day. It was no problem at all for Hector's team to do the work while we weren't home. Hector was GREAT about texting picture updates (completely unprompted too). (3) Fantastic/Efficient Job - All in all, I think they finished the job in a couple of hours. Our tricky gutter is cleaned (and we have picture proof) and our backyard tree is trimmed up! read more

Hector and his crew did a great job for us and I would recommend to anyone. We had neglected trees that needed heavy trimming and Hector recommended the proper solution. - He was cautious in not trimming too much, as well as balancing the tree to preserve the health of the tree, while filling our need to clear the space - Work was fast, they demonstrated to be an efficient and caring working crew - He went above and beyond to fulfill the work - He provided the options for different levels of services (full service, trim and clean, vines) so that we can find what fits our budget Thanks RT Trees! read more

Hector responded promptly and did a very good job cleaning out beds and trimming trees, as well as, shrubbery. Thank You!

So pleasantly surprised to get an immediate reply to my phone message left for RT Tree. Hector got back to me within the hour and showed up later that afternoon to check out the job and give an estimate and a time frame of the following week to come and do the job. How often does that happen?! Showed up as promised the following week and did an excellent job. Hector knows his "stuff" when it comes to tree trimming and removal and his courteous, professional demeanor made the experience painless. And kudos to Danny, one of his assistants. Never seen one man be able to carry out half a tree on his shoulder with a smile on his face! read more
