The cold cuts were fresh and cut nice and thin, and the sandwich was layered well. I was not in love with the bread. I love a crispy outer crust and fluffy inside when I'm eating my sandwich. This bread was very soft even on the crust, maybe it was an off day. The hero was on the pricier side, came out to $16.28. I would likely try again earlier in the morning and maybe that would improve the bread quality for me. A solid sandwich spot!

The entrance to get in isn't stroller friendly but inside has an abundance of high chairs. Overall I am still a loyal customer and will be coming back minus the mishap. When you come in, you're greeted by warm smiles and positive energy. I've been here every time I come back to NY, and their consistency for making great sandwiches is unmatched. I get the Turkey, Roast Beef, and Provolone Hero hot with The Works (Lettuce, Tomato, onions, oil and vinegar) and it's amazing every time! Yup! It exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind it's not in a visible spot, But finding it was half the fun. I want to thank Graham for being patient with me and my non social media self. I couldn't find a current menu because I only have Yelp. And he was kind enough to text me the menu. Awesome! Buuuuut I also popped his cherry! His Groupon cherry, that is. Hahaha! So the protocol was to call or text your order in advance and call when you get to the cone (yeah a cone, as in construction cone which you all know I live & breathe LOL) & he'll bring the food out to you.
