5 + + + Super super…read moreexcellent! The best brisket on Long Island! We recently used Crossroads Cue to cater a small event. We highly recommend them and will use them again. Also, we will probably stalk the food truck at local events and around town! Sooo good! The guys were amazing to deal with and are clearly experienced professionals! We had a full tray of brisket which was absolutely perfect perfect perfect! I dont know if they used a prime brisket but it sure tasted like an expensive prime brisket perfectly slow cooked into tender flavorful perfection! Not easy! Beautiful bark and smoke ring! The points were juicy tender and pulled apart with just your fingers. The flats were also finger pulling tender and NOT dry! Not fatty! Everything rendered perfectly and not rubbery! They did an excellent job! Worth the price of admission! Best brisket on Long Island! We also had pork belly burnt ends! They were a huge hit! Good enough to eat for dessert! Dont forget to get em! We also had 4 racks in of Texas style spare ribs that came with 4 different delicious sauces! Really good! Forgot, we also had mac and cheese and baked beans, quite good and delicious. Highly recommended! Great food truck but these guys are also an excellent choice for catering! In addition to their food truck they have a large fully equipped commercial kitchen capable of handling fairly large catering events. Oh, and right outside their shop is their custom made giant offset smoker. Ask to check it out! They only burn oak in their off set smoker giving their food just the right amount of delicious subtle smoke flavors to complement their slow cooked premium meats! Sooo good! Oh i forgot to mention, these guys are local guys passionate about bbq and serving people a high quality product! Highest recommendation!

After hearing about Crossroads Que from a coworker for several weeks, I was genuinely excited to…read morefinally give it a try. I was told repeatedly that the food was worth trying, so I went in with pretty high expectations. The atmosphere was actually great. There was live music while I waited, and I really enjoyed that part of the experience. The menu prices initially seemed reasonable as well. However, the portion sizes and food quality were very disappointing for what I paid. I ordered the barbecue chicken, and the portion came in a very small, hand-sized container. I counted seven slices of white meat. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and rubbery. It definitely had a smoky flavor, but for me, the smoke overwhelmed the meat and there wasn't much flavor beyond that. I also ordered a brisket plate for someone else. When I opened the container to make sure I had the correct order, I was surprised to find only two slices of brisket. My total was close to $50, so seeing portions that small was honestly very disappointing. The amount of food I received felt more like an appetizer than a full plate. The sides were a mixed experience. The cucumber salad was actually very good. It had a vinaigrette-style dressing, red seasoning, and red onion, and that was probably my favorite part of the meal. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese did not work for me at all, and neither the brisket nor the chicken had the level of flavor I was expecting. I want to emphasize that this is simply my personal experience and preference, and I'm not trying to discredit the food truck or suggest that everyone will have the same experience. I know food is subjective, and clearly there were plenty of people enjoying themselves when I was there. For me, though, the combination of the portion sizes, price, and flavor made this a very disappointing meal. I had been looking forward to trying Crossroads Que for weeks because of the recommendation, and unfortunately, I left feeling like I had barely eaten despite spending close to $50. I'm always willing to pay for good food, but I also expect the quality and portions to feel worthwhile for the price. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here.

It puts all other barbecue spots to shame. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful even without the barbecue sauce. The garlic mash is well-made and seasoned properly and the mac & cheese is gooey and creamy. I will definitely refer my family members to this place in the future.

I've eaten barbecue all over the country--from New York to Texas, including Austin and Houston--and I never expected some of the best BBQ I'd ever have to be right here in West Babylon on Long Island. Everything is smoked fresh twice a day: once for the lunch crowd and again for dinner. You can absolutely taste the difference. The ribs, pulled pork, and chicken are unbelievably tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. The meat practically falls off the bone, with just the right amount of fat to keep every bite moist and flavorful. I also recommend the mashed potatos with beans on top, and the chili mac & cheese. Get the BBQ trifecta like I did and I promise you'll be glad you did. The cornbread deserves its own mention. It's incredibly moist and delicious. My favorite way to eat it is lightly toasted until it's golden brown with a generous spread of creamy butter, but it's fantastic straight out of the bag too. The BBQ sauce ties everything together perfectly. It has a rich, smoky flavor with just the right balance of sweetness and tang. It's so good that you'll find yourself putting it on everything without overpowering the meat itself. What really sets Bitterman's apart, though, is the value and the hospitality. Joe clearly takes pride in what he serves, and it shows in every tray that comes out of the kitchen. He is such a nice guy too! The portions are enormous (there was enough for tonight and tomorrows dinner with my wife), the quality is consistently outstanding, and you leave feeling like you got far more than you paid for (you can't say that about many other restaurants these days). If you're looking for authentic, top-quality barbecue on Long Island, stop searching. Bitterman's has earned a lifelong customer, and I'll gladly make the drive back again and again. Five stars without hesitation. Stop by and tell them Jason sent you!
