At the last moment before the plumbers arrival, I had to rush out and pick up one of my kids because my wife was running late. Despite the change of plans, he persevered, kept in touch, assessed the situation and gave me a price without any hassle or drama, which I appreciated. Some companies are not able to give estimates without both homeowners there walking thru everything which is ridiculous. Anyway, he came back a few days later, showed up right on time for the job and got to work right away. There was minimal disruption and the guy worked very well independently. In the end the project was completed successfully and everything was done exactly as I wanted. Five star work! It's kind of cliche but it's a little hard to find a good plumber these days. I'm glad to have found these Star Line and will definitely be using them in the future.

He was extremely thorough, explained every step of the process, and his professionalism truly exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond to fix the plumbing leak, and he absolutely earns 5 STARS from me. Thank you so much. Nader

First, they always show up when they say they will. Second, their plumbers know what they're doing. Third, their guys have pointed out a couple of potential issues along the way which weren't part of the original scope of work, but nonetheless were pretty helpful to know as a homeowner. I know that pointing out issues is kind of like upselling, but it actually didn't come across as upselling because there wasn't any pressure to do the work. And that information you get is pretty helpful. The only downside to working with them is the price. They are by far the most expensive plumber I've worked with in the area. I kid you not, one time I got an estimate from them and as I reviewed their email in the middle of a Zoom call, I literally said out loud "holy fucking shit bro" not realizing my mic was on, which was a bit embarrassing. That said, I later agreed to the proposal because nobody else was available as fast. So yeah their availability and their quick response time is definitely important to me. I don't always use Mike's, sometimes they get undercut on price by a company that can come out quickly. But I know that when I do hire them, I will be in good hands, though with a lighter wallet. Four stars. Keep them in your contact list just in case!

A contractor initially told me that this will be a $3000 repair job requiring a hole cut out in the kitchen wall to get into the back innards of the shower. Otherwise, he would have to destroy the shower paneling.   Second opinion time. Enter Paradise Plumbing with their solid technical expertise. The cartridge just needed to be replaced and Joey fixed it quickly within 30 minutes. My shower also had an incompatible shower trim kit in which the fitting was awkwardly forced together. Though they did not have the trim kit part, he pointed me in the right direction to get the missing component overnighted to me. Easy install.   Altogether, this was less than $500 vs. the initial $3000 which was drilling in my head. Cheers to Paradise Plumbing. I only used them once prior but now they have my solid trust.

It stressed me out when I absolutely did not need that unnecessary aggravation. Turns out the AI hallucinated the delay. The extra stress was completely unnecessary. Extremely disappointing experience. I had been using Amy's Plumbing for a while -- they were always…read moreexpensive, but at least upfront with pricing and the work was done as promised. Unfortunately, the most recent job showed a complete change in their ethics and customer care. I called them to fix a leaking bathtub faucet in my guest bathroom. I was presented with two options: * $850 for a 3-handle replacement but requiring a hole in the wall, and * $1,150 for a 1-handle replacement with a clear promise that no hole in the wall would be needed. I agreed to the more expensive option specifically because they guaranteed no wall damage. While I was off the premises, Amy called insisting the plumber needed to be paid immediately before leaving. I paid. When I got home, I found a large hole in the wall in my master bedroom -- the exact thing they promised would not happen. I called Amy right away. Instead of owning the mistake, she blamed "miscommunication," said the plumber should have called me, and then started gaslighting me by claiming the job was "more expensive" and that I should be grateful that they kept the "old price." Absolutely absurd -- especially considering the already outrageous cost. I offered two reasonable solutions: * reduce the cost to the $850 option (the one that did require a hole), or * fix the wall they damaged. She refused both and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. Key points future customers should know: Pricing has become outrageous; greed has replaced fairness. They do not uphold their agreements -- even written or verbal commitments mean nothing here. Customer care is nonexistent. It feels like they have enough clients and simply don't care about losing anyone. If you're looking for an honest, reliable, and ethical plumbing company, this is not it. I never leave reviews like this, but the level of dishonesty and disrespect I experienced deserves to be public. UPDATE / CLARIFICATION: The owner posted a response that unfortunately does not match what actually happened, so I want to clarify a few key facts for anyone reading this. I was originally given two options for replacing my leaking tub faucet: $850 for a 3-handle valve, with a hole in the back wall. $1,150 for a single-handle upgraded valve, with a clear promise that no hole in the wall would be needed. I chose the more expensive option solely because I was told it would avoid cutting into the bedroom wall. However, when I came home, the wall was cut open anyway, and the tiles in the bathroom were also disturbed. I never received a call, no one asked permission, and no one sent photos before opening the wall. The work was done without any notice. The owner now claims that: the tiles "were not disturbed" (they were), I approved additional work because of corrosion (I was never contacted), and that "no one promised the wall wouldn't be opened" (the entire reason for choosing the $1,150 option was exactly that promise). These statements contradict what was discussed before the job started and what I saw afterward. I asked for a fair resolution -- either: * adjust the price to the $850 option, since that's effectively the method they ended up using, or * repair the wall they opened without authorization. Both were refused. I had used this company before when their pricing was high but transparent. This last experience showed a complete change: the price increased into unreasonable territory, the agreement wasn't honored, and decisions were made without my approval, followed by a response that tried to reframe the situation instead of addressing the issue. I stand by my original review. If you value straightforward communication, predictable pricing, and respect for your home, please be cautious here.
