I booked our daughters 10th birthday and it seemed to be really easy online. Pretty straight forward but something didn't sit right. It didn't get details on the party once I booked it. It just said show up 15 mins before your slot time. I had a gut feeling I needed to call and double check what the party entailed and the busier I got the more I put it on the back burner. I wish I had. I got there and actually showed up 2 hours LATE. They said it happens a lot but I felt so bad and wasn't aware we needed to be there to skate then the party i booked was only for the birthday room. For anyone reading this! Call right after you book your party so you can get the details. I wish it was more clear online but I take some fault. Also the girls down there are amazing! They made it worth it. They allowed us to stay and helped out everywhere they could. would do it again. read more

Me and my family went to a birthday party for a friend and it wasn't packed. They have both roller blades and skates! They call people in for the celebration, it's about 30 minutes per party. We sang happy birthday and ate cake. They could have a bit better flooring in the back of the rink, it's cracked and multiple people fall there. They had fairly good space and games on the rink. Their service was good. We will go back! read more

Had a bunch if fun with the family. It wasn't a planned thing, but it was nice to see it wasn't empty and boring. Will definitely have to go back if I'm in the area again. read more

So fun! Old school rink , smells like feet & skates, fun loud music & awesome times! It's just like the rink I went to as a kid. It was a really fun time and my kids had a blast. We will be back read more

I bought a Groupon to try this rollerskating rink and brought the family here. We had a great time. Rollerskating rental includes either regular rollerskates or rollerblades. There are no skate aids for young children, they look like granny walkers with wheels on them, so kids who can't skate will to use the wall. There is a snack bar where you can buy all kinds of treats like soda, candy, pizza, nachos, hotdogs, etc. There is a area with tables where you can either sit or if the tables are full you can stand at a bar that runs along a wall. There are lockers where you can store your shoes and belongings and you can either put your own lock or pay a quarter to lock it or just put it in for free. The staff are very friendly and helpful. On Google it will show that the rink is open from 1 to 7 PM on Sunday however it is broken up into two sessions. Session one is from 1 to 4 session 2 is from 4 to 7. So we came at three and had to leave at four so it's a good idea to know what time the sessions are. The rink is quite old and we went on a Sunday and it was very crowded. There is no mask mandate currently in Nampa so only a few people were wearing masks, however they do check everyone's temperature at the ticket counter before entering. My kids told me they had a great time and wanted to go back the next day so the trip was a success. read more

I normally go to the rink in Boise but I decided to try this one just for fun. I drove almost 40 minutes to get there and only stayed for about an hour, maybe less. The floor is old and feels bumpy, and it is kind of slippery to skate on. They don't have a good sound system, and there were 13-16 year old kids cutting everyone off. The staff was very nice, but the rink itself was not the best. I can say I'm a pretty good skater, but I almost fell so many times because of the floor and the kids. I will be going to Treasure Valley Skate from now on. read more

My daughter had a birthday party at the rollerdrome. All staffs are very accommodating for the party and they made sure my daughter felt very special on her birthday. Everyone had an amazing time and birthday package was reasonable. Worth the money. You won't get disappointed. I would recommend the rollerdrome to anyone. We will come back again! read more

We rented the place for 2 hours for a private party for our kids and it was awesome! The facility was clean and ready for us. There was one lady working and she was so incredible! So nice and patient with all of the kids getting sizing right, so happy to help and cheerful even with how many people we had. We will absolutely do it again! read more

My daughter loved having her 7th birthday party at the rollerdrome! At first we were a little shorted on our skate time due to us booking online and it didn't clarify that we had to be there at this time to start skating... but they definitely made us happy by fixing that right away and let us skate longer due to the online mishap. We're overall very pleased with the whole party, and all the smiles we were welcomed with we will most definitely book again! read more

made the birthday party easy however one thing I'd say is to be able to bring your own food as the pizza is very small and when having a bday party with large groups and hungry kids the pizzas need to be bigger ither it was a good experience read more

Me & family haven't laughed so hard in a long while. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for an extremely rude teenage boy, that is apparently the only one allowed to wear headphones. Continuously knocked little ones down. Knocked down my autistic son. When it was brought up to staff the older bald guy did nothing and instead blamed my son! Needless to say i confronted him and a manager heard. Only at that point did they go get the kid. and instead of handling themselves they had me speak to him where he continuously tripped over his lies and fake apologies. This kid should have been reprimanded and asked to leave at the very least. They would be wise to hire a more responsive staff that ensures family safety FIRST, rather than have special rules for friends. read more

Service was nice, skates sucked, no sizes above 13. Overall was not a very great experience, I spent 30$ for four laps around the rink. :(

Celebrated our daughter's 11th birthday at the Rollerdrome and had a wonderful time. Customer service was excellent and all the kids had a great time! read more

better than expected, we all had a blast. birthday party was a hit, host was very helpful.

We had an amazing place here tonight. We thought they were open doing a last session from 6 to 830 and because that's what we were told on the phone the day before however when we got here they were getting ready to close at 6 and kept the doors open for our 4 children to play. They did fun games and even were out on the floor dancing with them. Thank you very much we'll be back Again. A big thank you to Nike read more

This is a tradition for my family that goes back forever. Call ahead and find out if it's Christian stuff or whatever. The musics is kinda weird if so, but church kids are chill so it's cool. My family is gonna keep on living on this place. P.S. Wear thick socks. Keep skating! read more

We rented the rink private for a kid's birthday party this weekend. What a blast! The staff and DJ were really fun to work with and made the party great! read more

I've been to this place now three times. Each time has been super fun for my kids and I. They love the music and the games DJ puts on. The food is ok. We will be back again for sure. read more

I grew up in this rink and even celebrated my own 13th birthday here. It was so much fun to celebrate my daughters' 11th birthday at the rink last weekend. The Roller Drome made having a birthday party there so nice - providing pizza, drinks, plates, etc. The kids had a blast! read more

Honestly way too overpriced for the quality of it. The skates I got had laces that were so worn out they could not even go through the shoe holes. I paid $10 for less than an hour of skating until they said we had to pay $4 if we wanted to skate more. Huge ripoff, take your money elsewhere. read more

Skating was great but food is not worth it eat before you come pizza is frozen reheated and cost way to much

This family owned business is great! It's been around for decades, and everyone working there is very friendly and makes you feel like they really appreciate you and whomever you've brought with you. In addition to skating there is a small game area, a snack bar, and selection of skates to buy. There are lessons offered, prizes to be won for short relay races and limbo. read more

Home for the holidays -- I decided that I needed to drag hubby and my bros out for some skating (to work off some of the grub I scarfed down at Mom & Dad's). So I contacted the Treasure Valley Roller Girls ... and they said the only place to skate was the Nampa Rollerdrome. The name should have been my first clue ... but truly ... what was I expecting? UM ... a full size rink with rules and skaters of a certain age (18+) ... especially since it was Saturday night. What did I get? Exactly the opposite. The rink was small, many of the skaters were actually under 3 ft tall, there was no one working the rink to keep order -- so these little people were flying all over the place. NOT to mention the crazy girl who really liked to hear the sound of her skates stopping ... I wanted to smack her ... seriously. There were redeeming qualities ... an older gentleman who had probably been going there since he was a kid was extremely welcoming and offering helpful advice to anyone struggling to master skating techniques. And my bros had a BLAST ... which really made it all worthwhile. OH and did I mention I took first place in the 19+(yrs old) race ... ok ... I was the only one out there but who cares! My 2 oz soda made it all worthwhile! read more

Roller nightmare! I am from out of state and decided to take our kids. So first off it is overpriced, dirty and while I was trying to get all 5 kids with their skates on, the management took it upon themselves to take all of our stuff to lost and found. The management was rude, I don't know how they stay in business. read more

I love to roller skate from time to time so I was relieved to hear about this solitary functioning roller rink in Southern Idaho. The place itself is pretty standard as far as roller rinks go. Even the soundtrack wasn't too bad with upbeat modern music. The floor is acceptable but not the best I've seen with small nooks and dents in the finish. The floor itself is actually a little small compared to some of the other rinks I've been to. Pricing is decent as well. Recommended if you like roller rinks. read more

We took our son and a friend to the Rollerdrome. It was my son's first time on skates, and we found the people working there and the other skaters to be very helpful and friendly. Anytime my son fell (which was a lot at first), someone nearby would ask if he was okay and offer to help him up if he needed it. These were kids, teens, and adults offering to help. The music and disco lights took me back to the 80's. We all had a good time and I'd definitely recommend it as a place for family fun. After a while my son got the hang of it, and he can't wait to go back. read more

We went to the home school skate on the 12th of Feb, and it left a lot to be desired. They BLASTED Christian music in the ears of everyone there, the building was quite old, so who knows the lead content, and, above all, the people there, both skaters and some of the staff, were quite rude! There were about 5 or 10 teenagers who were being speed demons and going at 10 or 15 mph, while the rest of us were maybe going 7. There where also many little girls with long skirts who couldn't care less that they were endangering all of the 40 something kids and teens there. I somehow got through 2 hours of skating without falling once (after not having skated in 5 years), was taking my last lap, and one of the speed demons cut in front of me, and made me fall. When I told the rink attendant about it, he just laughed and said, "Whats wrong with that?" We will not be wasting another penny there. read more

Had my daughters 13th birthday there. I understand no outside food but the pizza was horrible it literally tasted like cheap cardboard frozen pizza. Not even the better brand of frozen pizza. And we had a little scheduling issue where the party room time was double booked and I was bumped back but it all worked great guests had no idea read more

I waiver between 2-3 stars for a Birthday party pack. I felt the cost was too high for the return. I gave 3 stars to the service, the attendant for the party was great, attentive and helpful. Check-in at the front desk was easy and smooth. I saw in the package that each of the kids would receive a return pass, I was excited for that. What they got was a 2 for 1 pass, I was very disappointed with that. Overall it went well and timely. I just think it was a bit overpriced for the quality of the experience. read more

i am very upset, and i was pulled aside in front of my friends to be told that my shirt is too "revealing". my outfit is not too revealing and i honestly feel sexualized and it's disgusting. no one at the age of 16 should feel like that. i was told to put a jacket over my shirt but i didn't have one so i had to leave. i will not be returning and i'm sad because it was one of my favorite places to go on the weekends with my friends. :( read more

classic fun for everyone....improvements being made all the time too. Keep it up Josh and company.

This is a great family owned and run business with a safe, family friendly atmosphere. The owners watch over teens and don't let kids "hang" outside. The skating session are fun and the staff very friendly. A great place for a family activity. read more

I used to go to the Nampa Rollerdrome a lot when I was a kid. And to say that the place hasnt changed, other than some minor interior modfications to the snack bar and locker area. They no longer have the sectioned off area where the "beginners" can practice is gone as are the old '50's style benches at the end of the rink near the counters and the old theater style chairs along the one wall. The floor I believe was redone, however it appears as it is the same old wood that was probably installed back in 1948 when the place opened. We took our son who is 6 and met up with another classmate of his. After several spills by him and one by the wife (which I missed getting to see by the way!) he finally got an idea how to skate...well technically speaking that is what its called, more like pubic proof of not being coordinated is the unoffical term. We had a pretty good time all-in-all. We will probably go back again, making sure to pack some ice packs and some tylenol as well as making sure the refrigerator at home is stocked with a good supply of adult beverages to relieve some of the stresses encountered once we return home. read more

Great family fun. Bring the little ones early. Lessons for the kids. Free admission for parents on sundays. Looks pretty good for a place that has been a rink since the 50's. read more

This place is not for us. My friend and I had a terrible time here. The floor is dirty and not level, and there is NO supervision. As a result there is no control over the flow of skaters. People just kept cutting one another off with no regard for the safety of other skaters. Skate at your own risk is just an excuse for the owner to avoid a serious lawsuit for lack of control over the customers. We will never go here again. Keep your children away unless you'd like a trip to the ER! read more

How you can't rate this five is beyond me - you're not from around here , I'm 27 I have been going here since I was ... shoot ... forever - and I now take the kiddos and they love this place (planning a party here I remember going to party's here and having my own too!) you have to look through kids eyes - do they care about how it's set up ? Not really they are going to skate and enjoy themselves , I believe you make it what you make it ;) as far as I am concerned go enjoy yourselves and take your kids ! I'm sad one day we will loose this place :( but my family and I will keep coming and enjoying every second watching the new generation grasp for dear life on the same railings we grasped for our lives at the same age read more

So. I have been here numerous times over the last 15 years with my kids. Tonight after a real stressful few months we decide lets have a family night. There were 7 of us. We were so excited. As soon as we got our skates on we noticed a few young teen boys just skating as if there were no others around. The DJ stated several times that headphones needed to be put away yet this group all continued wearing them. As we skated we noticed these boys in particular one, speed past children, adults re-learning and basically everyone on the floor. These boys also seemed to know the staff as they were seen several times behind the DJ booth and skate counter. We assumed they worked there. After watching the one fella knock down and nearly knock down several customers of all ages I became victim. I brushed it off. My children did not as they were also nearly knocked down or cut off by this boy....both headphones in his ears. Then, my daughter came to let me know he knocked down my nephew and kept going. My nephew is 19 and Autistic and it took EVERYTHING we had to get him to do this activity. My son tried to confront the boy but his speed and the fact that he was also on his phone became a danger to everyone. My sister approached the skate desk and asked to speak to someone. They said they would get him. NOBODY did. I came with her to express our frustration and disappointment. One employee had the audacity to raise his voice at me, a paying customer. Absolutely not acceptable. Another seemed to be as frustrated with this boy as us. This makes me wonder if he is a child of an owner, manager or employee. They soon brought the boy up where he apologized as anyone would do denying any knowledge in any of it! Said he didn't see him etc etc. prior to speaking to anyone we were approached by 2 other costumers expressing concern as well. We let the boy know it was more than us it was SEVERAL customers. Im unsure of his relation but this was clear bullshit. He also stated he was allowed to wear 1 earphone even though it was more than clearly stated earphones need to be out. As a manager of a large business. Everything about this was wrong. Staff seemed afraid to speak out against this kid. He terrorized customers and ultimately was never asked to leave. He should have. I'll return and will have no problem speaking up. read more

This place is wonderful! My kids and I have skated here a number of times and have always enjoyed ourselves. Another bonus is that the people who work here are truly the nicest people I have ever encountered at a business establishment in Idaho. We will be visiting the Roller Drome for years to come and are thankful that they remain open and available to those who love to roller skate. read more
