The arcade was really fun, and not as expensive. My son and I were able to play table air hockey, shooting games and other arcade games. Thank you to the management team for planning your strategy to ensure that this place is not too crowded. My son and I really appreciate our time here. We will be back!

I believe we visited on a Tuesday or Wednesday, whichever night it was they had a special an hour of Nerf wars for $20/pp. Our son had a great time in the HUGE (HUUUUUUUGE!!!) bounce area ( it is so big they have CCTV in the back for parents/non-participents to watch from the seating area). They also had a variety of games, which require a pre-paid card, but were all very reasonably priced (0.25 cents to $1.75). The pre-paid card also came with certain deals (load $10 receive $12 credit) and there were a variety of games for a variety of different skill-levels. They had the "play until you win" claw machine too, which is great for kids of all ages. The prize wall was expansive and the prizes were "priced" fairly. It ranged from a few points for candy to thousands of points for larger items. My son was able to get a stuffed animal for around 700 points, and he loves that thing. The area was clean, it was not crowded, parking was plentiful and staff was friendly and approachable. We really loved Xtreme craze.

Go during the day or don't go at all…read more Me and a couple pals went to Merrimack Valley Pavilion last night for mini golf, a harmless activity, and honestly, it was one of the creepiest experiences I've ever had. Sure, during the day it's charming, families, kids, bright colors, ice cream, obstacle courses arcade games and whatnot. But at night, something shifts. The woods press in close around the course, and it feels like at any moment, a deer could break through the trees and sprint across the green. That sounds funny until you realize how easily someone could get hurt, or worse. Who knows what lingers in these woods. The little ponds scattered through the course, which seem endearing under the sun, but in the dark they suddenly look deep, like someone could slip, fall in, and never come back up. We lingered near the cave on hole 14, and I swear to God there was something wrong inside. It wasn't just dark it felt like something or someone was waiting. My chest got tight when I stepped near it, and I had to back away. My friend started shaking uncontrollably. And then there are the tikimen statues. During the day they're just silly props, but at night? They look disturbed , tilted, cracked, like they've been through something they'll never talk about. But the worst was hole 18. As we lined up for our final shots, I heard it, a whisper. My name. Clear as day, right next to my ear. I spun around, but no one was there. My friends looked pale, they'd heard their names too. We rushed to finish and left in silence. Here's the truth: all these little details, the woods, the ponds, the statues they're harmless in daylight. But at night, Merrimack Valley Pavilion feels haunted. And I don't say that lightly. Go for the ice cream if you want, but leave before dark. And if you do stay late... don't turn around when you hear your name.

The 4 player ticket games might only have 1 or 2 of the 4 card readers(how you pay for arcades) at the half price while other spots at the same game have higher prices! We realized after overpaying multiple times. Then the baseball speed oitch game is broken and uncalibrated but still on and operable just enough to take your money but unable to register correct speeds thrown and distribute tickets accordingly. Frustrating. The rick and morty game was frustrating customers left and right because it didnt work properly. The ball toss game where you knock over clown dolls was rigged and the 30 point clowns were impossible to knock down even with a fastball. The arcade was low on employees which put too much workload on the few employees actually working. I saw the same guy pour drinks, hand out food, doing ticket redemptions, fixing games, and patrolling. This arcade has potential but you really need to get everything functioning properly. Also stop only putting half price games in some of the card readers while other readers on the same game show full price. No bubble hickey is criminal.

It's well organized and there is a small area and a large area right by the entrance, flanking the ticket redemption area, the drink counter, and the employee desk. Great location for it. There's two flatscreen TVs in the large area and one flatscreen TV in the small one. Ability to turn off/on lights. We were able to fit high 20's number of kids in the small party area. Service and coordination was particularly great. Megan was our lead person, and she provided excellent concierge service. We were frankly surprised how great she was and attentive. We just assumed we'd be in for some chaos but nope, guided us, paced us, and was very attentive. You bring your own drinks and cake, and they have pizza baked in house. The pizza is really good. Wow. Move over boring kid birthday pizza. They take the cake back for you and cut it up and serve it. They clean up. They help with pizza distribution. They wheel in and out the carts with gifts (and coats this time of year) into and out of the party area. So if you want to stay around longer after the party area reservation, you're welcome to and they've got multiple carts to keep your things. The distribution of some of the credits on cards before and after was great. And the A or B on the cards of the kids to divide up the laser tag was great. And our kid got to do both times since it was their birthday. The area and place/setting is fun. Lots of different types of games. Everything was working -- a rarity for an arcade. There's better or worse use of credits, of course, as there is everywhere. I loved the variety though. There were electronic games, claw games, multiplayer games, violent and non-violent, physical sport/skill games (basketball shooting, ski ball, drop ball), and both ticket earning and non-ticket earning games. The redemption area has a large variety of choices and they're displayed well to enable kids to make choices without long queues. The laser tag area is surprisingly large and very fun for the kids. It's gotta be 2-3x larger than the rest of the arcade. The price here was great. Lots of folks will seek outer suburbs of Boston for good prices but all in this was a steal compared to some other options. And the other families loved it. Kids were raving about it through the school week, and multiple people said they're going to bring their families back here again soon and many for birthday parties.

I think im just going to make excuses to come here again to try the pizza...the arcade games are definitely not really for little kids but pretty fun for older kids and grownups but it's nice that even if you have teensy kid points you can still get decent toy prizes and candy.

Since we got the groupon deal, every course was unlimited except the go kart. We enjoyed every course they offer, except maybe the mini golf. Looked like they are renovating another golf course, and building a new course. The flooring was uneven at the mini golf course. But the kids still enjoyed the mini golf course. The batting cage was a good too. It was fun for kids who like baseball or just hitting the ball because the machine spits baseball/softball out at you. The machine might not be in the best condition but we did make the best out of it. The laser tag was in a small building and we had fun in there. They are pretty good about letting you stay in there longer if no one is around. The go kart was really fun. It felt like the speed was set, and you cannot really go too fast. You also get one free med ice cream with one topping from the groupon. It was too much for 2 people to share that one med ice cream, so we claimed 2 ice creams at a time for 4 of us to share. All four of us enjoyed Mel's Funway. We were there for almost a whole day taking advantage of our unlimited everything. So instead of driving elsewhere for lunch, we ate at the diner there. Surprisingly the food is not bad. We had the stuffed tater tots and it was really good. We shared the ruben and it was not bad. The kids shared a chicken tender meal. Their french fries are good. See photo of website that I checked today. I even had my wife call them to confirm because it is April 23rd and I wasn't sure if the season started yet. No one answers the phone. They just have a recording saying to check their website for days and hours. So we drove there. The ticket booth had a lighted sign that says, "Open" and listed their hours as Noon - 6PM Monday through Sunday starting April 19th but no one was there and many rides had tarps over them. We walked around looking for someone and finally found a person who worked there. They said they are only open on weekends. My wife explained that she called and no one answers the phone. The person said that we should have checked the website for their hours. She said, "We did and it says you are open." As does the lit up sign at the ticket booth! The person said, "Well all the rides are closed and covered with tarps." Anyway, my granddaughter started crying. She was so disappointed because we had told her all about the rides and bounce house and she had been so excited to go. We couldn't go back on the weekend because she was leaving to go back home to Maine on Friday. This place has gone downhill. This is the second time in the last year that it has been closed when it was supposed to be open and I will not subject my grand kids to this nonsense and disappointment, nor will I give my hard earned money to a company with such poor customer service. Save your money and go someplace where they will treat you right!
