After meeting Kevin and members of the Sounds Unlimited team at the Seattle Wedding Show, I actually booked them as my DJ before I had booked any other vendors; not even the venue had been booked yet! Our MC, Kevin, worked with me in the planning process of my wedding to ensure that every aspect, from the processional songs for the ceremony to the idea of including a private last dance between my new husband and me at the end of the night, was covered. He included a Generations Dance using my parents' wedding song to honor their over 40 years of marriage, something that was so special to me to be able to honor them during my wedding. Unbeknownst to me, Kevin also had all of our guests send us selfies before the ceremony started, which was such a lovely and unexpected surprise to receive after my wedding when I finally looked at my phone. It is so nice to have a memory of my friends and family waiting for us to get married saved forever. Sounds Unlimited has a great music control system that let me choose all the songs I did (and did not!) want played at my wedding, but also let guests submit requests. The dance floor was packed the entire time, and that is in part because of the fantastic job the Sounds Unlimited team did creating a party atmosphere. If you want a wedding all your guests will be talking about for the next ten years, hire Sounds Unlimited as your MC and DJ; they truly made my wedding day perfect.

He also took care of us on a personal level, making sure we had time to eat and stayed hydrated! Our DJ, Micah, was also fantastic. We were a little stressed about picking the right music for our group and he took the reins and did a great job. Our dance floor was packed all night and so many guests have already reached out to us to tell us our wedding was one of the most fun they have ever been to. We would not hesitate a moment to hire them for another event in the future!

First of all, Sokha and Odom are super accommodating. Whatever you need, whatever you want, they do a fabulous job making sure the client's happy at the end of the night. I don't know about you guys, but I'm kind of a control freak. I literally made three of my own playlists as a example of what I wanted. Sokha was really receptive and allowed me to build them to get a feel of my style. Also, this was a multi-cultured wedding so we had to literally split up the time for different genres. I had a huge headache just figuring out in my head how I was going to incorporate Southeast Asian music, Chinese ballads (during dinner) and of course, crunk/club music for the after party but got some great advice that were both helpful and professional. Music was the only thing about my wedding I wasn't really stressed about- you'll always be in good hands if you give these guys a chance! Everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed the music! We had little kids doing Cambodian dancing, shaking it to Jay Sean. It was awesome-- The music literally had everyone on the dance floor. My baby cousins came up to us and said "This is the best wedding ever!!!" and asked to always be invited to weddings. Not sure if other weddings would be up to par :p The music was definitely their highlight, we had eight year olds spinning on their heads and two year olds rocking out LOL. Thanks guys for being part of our big day! Definitely will always be on my list of awesome vendors if I ever plan another event!

We had made our own playlists with almost three hours of our favorite songs. He did a great job of mixing the songs we wanted to play with many that are a bit more exciting and upbeat. My wife and I don't dance often, so much of our 'Dancing' playlist was a more mellow tempo. I'm glad he changed it up as he did. Many of the dancing songs he played were fun and got us moving and excited. It helped my wife and I to let loose and enjoy dancing many of the family and friends we don't see often. He got us dancing so wild that I didn't realize what song I was dancing to until my brother pointed it out, saying it was 'awesome to see us dancing to that song'. I don't dance like that. If we ever put on a musical event with a dj again, we will choose Joshua. Every other element of our wedding was truly beautiful, but his musical touch, with specific queues, gave the event the oomph that we will remember for the rest of our everlasting love. I recommend you send him a message to inquire about his services, they are well worth it.

He is so easy to work with, from the first moment we met him he completely put my mind at ease. Josh answered every question we had and was also responsive to any follow-up emails. Josh also has great attention to detail and is extremely professional. He stuck with us through several evolutions of our main songs, and he followed through with all of our music requests and gave us very helpful advice throughout the planning process. He even attended our rehearsal to make sure things on the day would run smoothly! Josh also does a phenomenal job of getting to know the couple and their vibe, and really making the music reflect the couple. The music for the whole day was perfect, he incorporated our preferred songs and artists in all the music on our wedding day from the pre-ceremony music, to the cocktail hour, to the reception. We also had a lot of music on our "likes" playlist that wasn't necessarily dancing music but Josh managed to incorporate all the songs we loved and keep everyone on the dance floor (no small feat!). He also accommodated requests on the day which was so appreciated! Neither of our families are huge dancers, so Josh had his work cut out for him and did a wonderful job of reading the room to play what our guests needed to stay out on the dance floor. We got so many comments from our guests about how great the music was that night! Everything flowed so perfectly thanks to Josh!! Thank you so much DJ Jopa!

The string trio was simply, AMAZING. They truly made our wedding ceremony unique and helped bring our vision into reality. My guests were raving about that portion of our ceremony and cocktail hour - they were so impressed and enjoyed the music! It was Rebecca who we communicated mostly with through email prior to the wedding day. Let me just say, she made the communication and booking process so easy. Their repertoire was definitely impressive and we had a lot to chose of pieces to from. There were 3 specific songs we wanted for our ceremony (Bittersweet Symphony, Here Comes the Sun, & Stand by Me) and I was thrilled to find out they were able to play for us! I also want to thank Rebecca for helping us decide on a song for our bridal party to walk out to after the ceremony. We wanted something a little more upbeat, but still elegant at the same time. She helped us decide on Viva La Vida - the PERFECT ending! Overall, we were so happy with our decision to have Puget Sound Strings play at our wedding. The booking process was so easy, the string trio came and did an amazing job and everything was just executed so professionally! It truly made our wedding extra special - I had no idea how magical the write music would make the most important part of our day. If you're thinking of booking PSS for your big day or event, DO IT!
