He kept the energy high from the moment he stepped into the property until he left late that evening. He kept all of our guests engaged and the day running smoothly. He also took care of us on a personal level, making sure we had time to eat and stayed hydrated! Our DJ, Micah, was also fantastic. We were a little stressed about picking the right music for our group and he took the reins and did a great job. Our dance floor was packed all night and so many guests have already reached out to us to tell us our wedding was one of the most fun they have ever been to. He was responsive to requests, read the room really well, and kept a variety of nonstop hits coming for our 5 hour dance party! Don hit all the cue's without needing prompting. During cocktail hour he played great music and what I really appreciated is he came out and checked in about 10 minutes before I had told him in the the timeline I gave him that I wanted to do the bride and groom entrance. He let me know what time it was and asked me if I still wanted to keep to the timeline or push it back a little. Don was great at making announcements to the guests of when to take their seats and then he went table to table and released them to get in line for the buffet dinner. The music he played for dancing was perfect and when the music cut off at the end of the night we had many guests voice how bummed they were the party was over. We've had lots of guest tell us how great Don was and how they loved the music. Would definitely recommend Don. He has lots of wedding experience and provides great input and tips on timing, music, etc.

To have a good Wedding Reception experience, You need to have good food, Beautiful Ambiance and Excellent music to get your guests up on the dance floor. The Cocktail hour was magical with having a band member play the Sweet Saxophone. When dinner was over, right out of the gate, everyone was getting out of their seats to dance. They failed to uphold parts of our contract and even introduced new "policies" not stated anywhere in writing in an effort to charge additional fees. A few specific issues: Last-minute demands: On the morning of our wedding, the first thing I experience was our wedding planner knocking on our door to tell me that the band was refusing to play our pre- ceremony music. (!!) unless we paid extra--despite already being paid to run the ceremony sound, having received the timeline weeks earlier, and previously agreeing to do so. This was not the way I wanted to start my my wedding day. Missed cues: They failed to play the correct recessional song, and when asked, instead played music that was meant for our first dances and cake cutting. We had to send my brother-in-law to DJ the post-recessional music from his Sportify. Refusal to make announcements: They declined to do our wedding party announcement, again citing a "policy" about hours worked that wasn't in the contract. We had to draft one of our cousins to do this at last minute notice. Technical mistakes: They mishandled the start of the dancing--an especially disappointing moment since our extended family of 40+ had rehearsed a choreographed routine--simply because they didn't load the correct Spotify link we had sent in advance.
