I can tend to be all business, but we wound up chatting with Adam and drinking some delicious IPAs for nearly 3 hours, and as my husband and I walked out the door he said, "I know you're going to hire him, why don't you just do that now?!" Adam met with us again a week or two before the wedding to go over the day of details, make recommendations, and continue to get a better feel for who we were as a couple. On the day of, Adam was fantastic and had worked with many of our vendors before (and even ended up knowing two of our guests!) so it made for a very smooth event. The music was fantastic - one of our guests even said the best music they'd heard at a wedding! (Save for my one indulgence of Dance Magic Dance by David Bowie!) We are so glad we did! From the start, Adam was on top of things, providing us a multitude of options and just generally feeling out what it was we were looking for. We had ideas, and he helped shaped them, giving advice, and even providing us ceremonial services on top of the reception. We had a couple hours-long planning session about a month out, and he not only went through our playlist and wedding party names for pronunciation, but he also asked us great questions, like what music do our parents like, who are some of our favorite bands not on the playlist, etc., which he helped craft into an unforgettable experience by mixing in songs throughout the day's events, making some truly great remixes and stylistic flourishes that kept people on the dance floor all night long, and so much more. He even worked with us on cutting out the audio in Don't Stop Believin' like they did in the finale of the Sopranos! It was just a pleasure to have a guy like Adam for our event, who takes his work very seriously but does it in such a fun and easy manner. Neither my wife or I will be getting married again LOL, and we live on the opposite sides of the country as Adam, but something tells me we'll cross paths again, somehow and someway, because everything was perfect, and Adam was a big part of making that so. He perfectly set the scene for every part of our day, from the pre-ceremony music greeting the guests, to the low-key indie music behind our taco cart dinner, to our rocking dance party. He was super easy to work with- great communication (including a super in-depth questionnaire), laid-back personality, great knowledge, and a wide range of skills to take care of everything. He and his wife were a rock star team the day of; setting up at the reception venue mid-afternoon before heading to the park for our ceremony and dinner, then tearing down at the park and getting the party started at the reception with a stupidly short turn-around time. He took requests (including a super weird one from a groomsman that turned out to be one of the most hilariously awkward perfect moments of the night), played I'm On a Boat with all the expletives after all the old people left (ummmm... YES PLEASE. I didn't even say it was my very favorite song...), balanced the sound beautifully for both the music and the mics (indoor and outdoor), and just generally was an awesome human to interact with. My only complaints: He played Billie Jean at a wedding... (I can't really dock him for it, though, because I didn't specifically list it on my do not play list). He Might have played some must-play songs before we got there to hear them. Personally, I think that a DJ is one of the toughest vendors to decide on for a wedding. For catering, you can taste the food, and for the florist, photographer, etc. you can easily see past work. With music, it is was a bit more difficult for us to know which direction to take. After our initial phone call consultation with DJ Vega, we knew he would be a great fit. He was professional and thorough, yet had the perfect balance of being laid back and accommodating. He sent us a detailed spreadsheet to fill out before with our song and genre preferences, which was a huge help! In January 2023 I…read morehired Suh Events to shoot something special -- my friend's 50th birthday party where he celebrated by playing bass in a band on stage for the first time. I made the mistake of paying Such Events their full fee up front. They came and shot the event, everything seemed fine. They followed up a few weeks later and said they were starting the editing process. Then they stopped contacting me. The first few times I checked in -- a month, 2 months later -- they said they were working on it. By the 3rd month, they stopped answering emails or calls. At the 4th month, my friend who'd had the party went and talked to them to make sure they were still working on the project. They said they'd had some personal issues get in the way, but they assured him they'd start working on it. It's now been over 6-months and they've stopped answering his calls or emails too. I know sometimes projects can take a long time to edit. But I'm sure in those cases the photographer stays in contact with the client, fully explains any issues, and works to agree on a later delivery date. They don't just stop communication and disappear. So at this point it just seems I made the mistake of hiring an illegitimate business, and the best I can hope for is to somehow, some way, at least receive the raw footage they shot since it's a once-in-a-lifetime memory, and they're the only ones who have it. This review is my last ditch effort to at least make that happen. Needless to say, I recommend not ever ever hiring Suh Events, unless you are ok never seeing the Event you hired them to shoot.

Ayana and Ju arrived early to capture beautiful getting-ready photos, while Prashant and crew set up sound seamlessly. The ceremony audio was flawless. And when the reception began, Prashant absolutely shined - his energy as MC and skill as DJ kept the dance floor packed all night.
