There was a decibel limit at the wedding location and Matthew handled that limitation perfectly. He also did not hesitate to move his heavy equipment between floors so that the reception audio was handled just as professionally. He even willing stayed past the contracted hour without hesitation or complaining. I'm sure that he is a remarkable DJ; the only reason we did not have him "spinning records" is the decibel limitation. I would contract for his services again in a heartbeat; I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of audio setup and his professionalism.

We received more guest comments about how great the DJ was than any other aspect of our wedding. In the planning process he was relaxed and prepared, needed very little of us, but was also willing to take whatever instruction we asked for, and was a calming, confident presence on our wedding day. We hit him with a somewhat last minute, very strange request to sample lines from our favorite SNL skit and work them into the dancefloor music, assuming he would think we were crazy, but he enthusiastically had the audio pulled within days and went above and beyond mixing a custom song for us with the SNL audio. A week before the wedding we asked for a disco ball and he found a way to borrow one at no extra cost to us. He was also a wonderful MC, which was a more significant element of the day than we anticipated. He was so active on the day of, constantly monitoring volume levels, crowd mood and reaction, etc., adjusting volume of the mic on my groom for when he was speaking versus when I was speaking a few feet away from the mic - it was all flawlessly executed. We were very torn between having a live band and a DJ, and were so incredibly happy that we chose Braden. We highly highly recommend him!

Adam is more than a DJ, I think he is now our friend!…read more We found Adam's name on a referral list in the brochure of the venue where we got married (Lake Quinault Lodge on the Olympic Peninsula). We are so glad we did! From the start, Adam was on top of things, providing us a multitude of options and just generally feeling out what it was we were looking for. We had ideas, and he helped shaped them, giving advice, and even providing us ceremonial services on top of the reception. We had a couple hours-long planning session about a month out, and he not only went through our playlist and wedding party names for pronunciation, but he also asked us great questions, like what music do our parents like, who are some of our favorite bands not on the playlist, etc., which he helped craft into an unforgettable experience by mixing in songs throughout the day's events, making some truly great remixes and stylistic flourishes that kept people on the dance floor all night long, and so much more. He even worked with us on cutting out the audio in Don't Stop Believin' like they did in the finale of the Sopranos! It was just a pleasure to have a guy like Adam for our event, who takes his work very seriously but does it in such a fun and easy manner. Neither my wife or I will be getting married again LOL, and we live on the opposite sides of the country as Adam, but something tells me we'll cross paths again, somehow and someway, because everything was perfect, and Adam was a big part of making that so.
