We hired Adrian to be our wedding DJ and emcee on 8/12. He was excellent throughout the wedding prep and the day of the event. I would definitely hire him again for an event, personal or business, and recommend him to anyone. We met with Adrian initially at his home after scouring various DJ's in the Seattle area. He immediately put us at ease. He had all the right questions from being a DJ for many years at clubs and through his business. He gave us a worksheet to let him know exactly what songs we did and didn't want and the order of the ceremony and reception. A $200 deposit held the date. Adrian confirmed with the venue the details for his set-up and electrical needs and was already familiar with it having worked another wedding there previously. He arrived on time and was professional from start to finish. Adrian kept everything running on time and smoothly and there were absolutely no problems, not even little ones, throughout the entire day with him. He checked in with my husband and myself to see how things were going and if we wanted anything changed. I performed at our reception, and Adrian had the mic ready to go and was right on cue with our original music. I did a survey with our family and guests for any comments on Adrian. I LOVE CITY DJ!!!! I can't even tell you how many obnoxious DJs we interviewed for our wedding, and when we found Adrian and Wendy it was like the clouds parted and the sun started shining. Adrian DJ'd my little sister's wedding this weekend and he was amazing. He handled himself with professionalism and poise the entire event. And let me tell you, it was a big event! There were location changes across and 5 acre farm, many announcements and segments that he had to facilitate and crowd wrangle for, and my little sister is no bridezilla, but she definitely knew what she wanted and had some guidelines she wanted followed and Adrian never did a THING without confirming with her or the timeline she had given him first. It was amazing and smooth and perfect and beautiful and went off without a hitch. I have seen other DJs at other events who don't follow the bride's wishes, or make too big of a spectacle out of themselves, or are not respectful to guests or wedding parties. This was not the case with Adrian and City DJ. I truly appreciate what he did for my sister and new brother-in-law and can't say enough how perfect he is for weddings and I assume any other event someone would want a DJ for. From start to finish, Adrian was absolutely a dream to work with. He responded very quickly to all emails, usually in less than a day. He was very helpful in planning the flow of our wedding even though we had a day of coordinator. He is laid back which puts you at ease but do not be fooled -- he is bringing his A game every moment. I found CityDJ to be an extremely good value -- I was 100% happy with the services we received and it was nice to not feel like I was being over charged just because it was a wedding versus any other kind of party. 6 weeks before my wedding I tore my ACL. He picked up on those cues and faded the songs naturally so that it wasn't awkward. During my reception, my knee went out again. I was devastated that I couldn't dance at my own wedding. Adrian is amazing! He was the dj at my wedding this summer. We had a meeting a couple weeks before the wedding where we went over all of the details of the big day, he put my mind at ease after that meeting. This guy really knows what he's doing and listens to everything you want and somehow pulls it all together.
