I worked with Tara to cater a happy hour corporate event and am absolutely thrilled with the experience her team was able to provide. From start to finish, Tara made the whole event easy for me. She was super responsive answering all the questions I had, and I appreciated her ability to provide multiple quotes depending on which options we selected. Pricing was very competitive and more than reasonable. We ordered a variety of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in addition to charcuterie boards, mini spinach feta spanakopitas, Balinese style meatballs, caprese skewers, and grilled veggie platters. Everything tasted great, and the presentation was fantastic. The day of the event Tara and her colleague Dan arrived early to allow for ample time to set up and prepare for our event. The level of attention to detail was great, from adding our company's logo to the menu board, to bringing flowers as decorations by the food. I highly recommend working with Tara and her teak for future catering events and now have my go-to Seattle catering company! read more

We used Shake Bartending for a retirement party and Tara and her team are awesome! It was super easy to organize and Tara was very clear and prompt in helping me organize my event. Dan was great as well, he was on-time and well prepared to make sure our event went off without a hitch. We'll definitely be using Shake again for future events! read more

I found Shake and Tara and her team to be fantastic, skilled, professional and a delight before, during and after. The planning was simple but complete, They were reliable and communicative. Pretty much everything you'd like, and I would absolutely use them again. All my 80 guests were complementary and were impressed with the quality of the food and its presentation. read more

Fabulous team- organized, efficient and extremely nice. Food was spectacular and drinks were delicious. Already booking again for next year!

Shake did an incredible job for our event! They made everything so easy for us. A lot of places we looked at offered either bartending services or food options. Shake not only had both available, but they also had tables and chairs available to rent for the event. Their menu was amazing and the specialty cocktails were so fun. The team was so fun, warm, and worked INCREDIBLY fast. They had such a beautiful set up to go along with everything. This is absolutely who you should book for your next event. read more

I have hired Shake twice for events in the last few months, and they have hit it out of the park every time. Tara is extremely quick to respond, organized and easy to work with, and our bartender Dan was an absolute hit at both parties. I will always choose Shake for my events from now on! Hire them, you won't regret it. read more

We hired this service for a wedding and they were absolutely amazing! The drinks were delicious and Tara was great with communication and organizing the menu. We had Dan and Carrie serve at the event and they were wonderful. They made the drinks quickly and offered personal service to each guest. I would absolutely use Shake again for another event (: read more

Have worked with Shake several times now. They are one of my favorite vendors and companies to work with. Professional, composed, and so easy to work with. Would work with them for every and any event! read more

Samantha was our bartender for our wedding, and she was terrific! She took such great care of our guests, intuited what they needed, and went above and beyond helping out when our busing staff failed to show up. Thanks to her the night went smoothly and our guests had a great time. read more

We used Shake Bartending for our Wedding Reception-esque casual party for 65 at a Seattle Parks-owned venue, and everything was great! Tara got back to my initial request promptly, and worked with me to figure out the best options for my party, between regular prepaid service, and "pay per consumption". They also worked with me in picking ou the best beer & wine selection to represent the PNW to all my out-of-town guests, and put up with my picky beer-snob considerations. They even took care of the Event Insurance for me! At the event, we had Dan the bartender, and he was amazing! He was super friendly, courteous, and professional. Took great care of everyone, drinker & abstainer alike, and just generally kicked ass! I'd strongly recommend Dan in particular, and Shake Bartending to anyone looking to throw a fun party. read more

I am a caterer and hired Shake Bartenders to serve at an event over the weekend. They did a great job! The bartender was very professional to the guests and was helpful to our catering team as well. In advance of the event, they were highly organized which gave me confidence they would deliver according to our expectations - and they did. Overall very pleased with this service and the experience they provided for our client. Gail Kurpgeweit / Taste of Amazing read more

Shake has worked with me on two birthday party events and they have been fantastic. They take care of everything, totally prompt, and always cheerful and accommodating. I get nothing but rave reviews from my guests. Each time, Shake made my event a total success. read more

Not great. Clearly didn't review our wedding reception signature cocktail recipe (which had a total of 3 ingredients), which was sent earlier in the week, or just didn't share the info with the bartenders, even though I put a lot of time and thought into it and provided hard copies when they arrived. One guest let me know that halfway through the reception, she ordered a signature cocktail by name and the bartender didn't know what she was asking for, and didn't know how to make it. They made us look terrible. Not helpful with our shopping lists, even though it was a promised service (by their math, we would've had to buy 20 2-liter bottles of Coke for 130 guests - we bought 9 and have 5 left.) 130 guests ordered drinks over 5 hours, and they went through about 3 lemons and zero limes as far as I can tell. I have no idea why they didn't use the garnishes we provided. Not ready to go on time, not friendly, no positive feedback from guests. ("They were ok" was the best we heard; "It seemed like one of them had never made a drink before" was the worst we heard. Pretty bad.) The owner is really nice over the phone (up until you write a negative review), but uses ALL CAPS in emails, and he doesn't read through the ones he receives. It's obvious that he doesn't write things down following phone conversations, either. He was annoyed that we didn't provide details about our ceremony, so I had to remind him that our ceremony was 3 days before the party. And it's more irritating that the owner called me to let me know he was "irritated" about my negative review. On the upside, they were there, they served drinks, people drank 'em, they cleaned up after themselves. Ask for recommendations from bartenders at your favorite bar instead. read more

Shake bartenders have an awesome business model and I was thoroughly impressed with their bartenders for a recent event at my complex. They make great drinks and were really attentive to what I (along with others) were drinking... That is pretty impressive considering they obviously are not dealing with regulars bc it is sort of a mobile bartending service. The bartenders were very good looking and had great personalities... Super bonus! I am looking forward to using them for any upcoming bash I have. Probably my thirtieth (ugh, one more year in my 20's!!).. read more

We are just a few days post my husband's/my 50th birthday bash and we cannot believe it took us this long to realize the right professional bartender is a "duh" if you want to assure a good time.  We'll never get those other parties back but James, our bartender for the night, made up for every party before James.  We have actually begun referring to our life in terms of "BJ"--the time Before James and "AJ"--the time After James. AJ people think we are super cool and throw the best parties ever. BJ they just thought we were nice guys who could cook. AJ our Facebook pages blew up! BJ...not so much. BJ we worried whether people would have fun at our parties. AJ we don't worry about that sort of thing.  We asked Shake Bartenders for a very specific personality charged with getting well behaved Seattlites to let their hair down and they sent the most perfect person that ever lived to do the job. You would have thought he was genetically engineered and hatched just for our friends. What a blast! What a party! What a bartender! What a guy!  James (and of course Tara behind the scenes), we cannot thank you enough.  Darrin and Ian read more

We were in good hands with Shake Bartenders! Erik and Jake were the bartenders for my company holiday party. They arrived on time and ready to roll. They immediately organized the bar area and assured me they would take care of everyone. These two personable young men took charge and left me worry free and able to enjoy the party. When the party was over they packed all the leftover wine, soft-drinks, mixers, etc. and helped load everything into my vehicle. Thanks guys! I would highly recommend Shake Bartenders! read more

James with Shake Bartenders in Seattle was spot-on for the entire night. We contracted with Shake for our annual holiday party for an evening of bar service for our guests -- having moved from another city with great bartending service we had high expectations and James met all of them! James arrived right on time and brought his setup and within a few minutes was all set and ready to go -- even after having to learn a speciality cocktail on the spot when he arrived. The preparation with Shake Bartenders went smoothly and the experience with organizing with them was seamless from beginning to end. That said, James was certainly the star and my guests were never left thirsty! How he knew exactly what drinks everyone was having is beyond me but my guests were constantly surprised when cocktails appeared in their hands without asking. Our experience was awesome and we can highly recommend James! read more

Professional, prompt, nice and creative! I hired Shake Bartenders for a housewarming party over Halloween weekend and was really impressed. From start to finish, they were quick to respond and organized in payment and plans. Tara was our bartender for the night and she was awesome! She arrived right on time (which I thought would be difficult as our home is a bit off the beaten path) and she was quick to set-up and get started. Everyone loved the drinks and when it was time for her to leave she set up an open bar for all to enjoy. Definitely will hire again for another bar-needed event! read more

We hired Shake for our annual holiday party and were really happy that we did. Craig was great about communicating with us and getting an idea of our expectations before the party. He and his crew also did a killer job at the party. They handled a pretty big rush of people quickly while still pouring tasty drinks with our somewhat random selection of mixers. And, at the end of the night, they worked hard (and stayed later than agreed) to get the place cleaned up. They aren't the cheapest company to use, but it's completely worth it to get professionals with personality who will work hard and poor good drinks. read more

Tara Fuller of Shake Bartenders ran our bartending and food service at Facebook Seattle for more than 200 people. I recommend her to other non-profit orgs that need a dependable, competitively priced vendor to run major charity or fundraising events. Tara has a process down which added high-value to our event. DETAILS Shake Bartenders Seattle is pretty much what I expected from reading other reviews but exceed my expectations by taking lead where it was needed, yet working within our constraints, budget, and needs. What impressed me the most was how cool under pressure the whole team was, given limited information, planning, and advance notice. Staff was professionally dressed, worked as a team throughout, and offered friendly service to our invited guests. I even got a chance to debrief with Tara after the event, which was really a nice touch to the whole experience. CHALLENGES Shake Seattle is great at running the show, and looking back at what could be improved, it is clear that using multiple vendors presented communication challenges. Since I never knew Shake Bartending work before, we were reluctant to put all our "eggs in one basket". Moreover, when we originally planned this event in Mar 2014, Shake Bartending wasn't able to run non-profit rates and wholesale. That option exists now for non-profits which resolves these challenges. My advice is to let Shake Bartending choose who they work with, and they will extend their magic to other parts of your event. OVERALL We intend on using Shake Bartending Seattle in all our future charity and fundraising events. They are exceptionally coordinated and professional; have a process down; and are competitively priced against other local options. Thanks, Tara & Shake Bartending Team! read more

I was in contact with Tara the entire time and she was wonderful. Always quick to respond and was very kind. Tim was our bartender on wedding day and he was awesome. It was also a plus I could rent glasses from them AND I bought my event insurance through them. Made that SO much easier!!! I'm so glad I picked them! read more

I could not be more happy with the experience we got from Shake for our wedding reception in Seattle. Our bartender was on time, incredibly helpful, and made the experience top notch for all of my guests. She even helped finish setting up with us- How kind! The planning process was the EASIEST thing I've done. Tara was super responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. Would 10/10 recommend them to anyone who needs a bartending service!! read more

I highly recommend Shake Bartenders! My now husband, then fiance, was in charge of looking for a bartender for our wedding and he found Shake Bartenders, where we got in touch with Tara. Tara was very easy to work with and she communicated well. I had to communicate mostly by email, which can be a challenge! Tara was super helpful in giving us us drink suggestions, and how much to buy (which is awesome, it's one less thing to think of when planning a wedding) and was very quick to respond to our questions. We were also able to rent glassware from them! Thomas was actually our bartender at our wedding, and he was attentive and personable. Our guests loved our drinks and the service was smooth. We had impromptu shots with the single ladies and men at our wedding at the bar we had set up and Thomas was very suave at handling everything! I am so happy to work with Shake! read more

The Seattle American Advertising Federation hosts a lot of events throughout the year, so Shake is our go-to bartender for our programs! The whole Shake team goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of: from initial planning to end-of-night cleanup. James is especially charming and our attendees adore him. Can't wait to work with you guys for future events! read more

Tara and the Shake team catered an event we hosted at work, and I could not be more pleased! They were responsive and collaborative in advance of the event, covered details proactively, and were a pleasure to work with. They showed up early to set up--which was a relief since traffic downtown is so unpredictable!--and set up a beautiful spread of food and drinks. The service, quality of food, and attention to detail on site was fantastic. All of our attendees were thrilled with the delicious food and we had many comments about how lovely the food setup was. Our custom cocktail was really tasty too! I would highly recommend the Shake team. read more

We've used Shake a couple times now, and see no reason to look elsewhere. They're communicative, smart, and easy to work with before, during and after the event. It's a delight to have intelligent and responsible folks who just know what they're doing. Many compliments from guests -- be sure to have them concoct a great signature cocktail or two for you! Well done -- see you again, Shake team. Thanks read more

Have used Shake Bartenders three times. I highly recommend them. I have used them twice in Seattle and once in Palm Springs. Craig was extremely easy to work with. Ryka Consulting hired Shake to bar tend at our annual NWWA Celebration and they did an excellent job. Craig and Tara arrived on time, dressed in business appropriate clothing and were handing out drinks within minutes. They respected our decision to use local alcohol and brought 2Bar Vodka, a perfect addition to the Vodka Mules infused with ginger beer, Scrappy's (of Fremont) bitters and fresh lime juice. Tara even cleaned our stemware for us when we were running out of glasses. Great local company to support! I highly recommend them for any large gig (our event had 60+ people in attendance). read more

We had a mid-century-themed party for about 20 people. Craig was our bartender that night and he did a fantastic job. James was our bartender for our wedding reception this last weekend and he was absolutely fantastic! Whenever I got a chance to glance over his way he was either helping people out with drinks or helping with things that weren't even part of his job duties, like refilling ice/water and carrying boxes around to where they needed to go. Shake Bartenders is very easy to work with and I'm very happy with our experience! Highly recommend using them for your upcoming event(s)! read more

James came out and bartended a holiday party for me this past weekend, and did an awesome job! He is very pleasant and friendly, and easy to work with as well. Hired a third time, Tim was excellent. Can't say enough, they're great. They let you enjoy your event!

We had a great experience with Shake Bartenders. We hired them to be a vendor at our wedding this past June. When getting married you want to find vendors who make things easy, and this is definitely a business that does that! Craig was extremely helpful in setting up the appointment and the service was additionally VERY reasonably priced! The bartenders he hired to come to our wedding could not have done a better job. They were extremely helpful, organized and efficient. Their hard work was a big reason our dream wedding could be a reality. I would definitely recommend and encourage people to use Shake Bartenders for their wedding or any event! You will not find a better bar tending company in the Seattle area! read more

Another great review for Tara and Shake Bartenders! Craig was very responsive and helped me in the planning - drinks, ice and glasses. Tara was so professional and excellent at her craft! Like others have said, she was right on time and in 1/2 hour set up the entire bar - she can move cases fast! - and was ready to go. For four hours she skillfully catered to every guest and all were very impressed. Don't even think twice. Call Craig at Shake Bartenders! read more
