We reached out to Shake to hire a bartender for my 40th birthday party. The process was very smooth and everything was handled professionally and in a timely manner. We were told that James would be our bartender for the evening and he was exceptional. He arrived on time, even called ahead and said he was stopping by the store and asked if there was any last minute items we needed. After he arrived he quickly familiarized himself with where everything was and got ready. He went above and beyond anything would could have asked for. We had around 50 guests and he knew them by name as well as what they were drinking and made sure they never had an empty glass. Every single one of our guests commented on how great he was and how impressed they were with his service. James made the night so seamless and stress free and went out of his way to make sure that we were able to spend the evening enjoying the party and our guests. I hired Shake Bartenders for a 60's themed cocktail party and it was first rate. Dave was our bartender for the evening and he was prompt, professional and our guests kept him working hard for the whole evening. He was friendly, engaging, and worked quickly. Many guests commented on his professionalism as well as his efficiency and good nature. At the end of the evening, he did a great job of cleaning up and setting up a self-serve bar. He was a great addition to the party and, as the host, made it very easy. I also really appreciated the recommendations from Craig on quantities and varieties of liquor and mixers when we were planning the party. He asked questions about guest numbers and preferences. He also included the specialty cocktails that we wanted in coming up with a suggested shopping list. I felt that we were well prepared. An absolute pleasure to work with. Tara was incredibly helpful guiding us through the party planning stage and provided a number of updates as our needs changes. Not only did she respond quickly leading up to the party but on the day of the event our venue canceled on us. Tara we above and beyond my expectations to try to secure us a new venue, and helped calm me down (panic mode). Despite it being New Years Eve, she made her self available and continued to work with us until we had everything settles at our new venue. James, our bartender, was simply awesome. We hired Shake for our annual Halloween party this year and they were great! Craig worked with us to develop a fun signature cocktail and sent a shopping list ahead of time to be sure I had everything we needed. Dave was our bartender and he did a fantastic job of keeping up with the drink requests in the midst of chaotic Halloween fun. He arrived on time, got busy right away organizing his space and preparing garnishes, he washed glassware as we got low, and he stayed and cleaned up after our guests left. I recently hired Shakers to cater a holiday party at my house. At first I expected your standard bar plus some food appetizers to be given out to the guests. I was incorrect- Shakers showed up early and set up and incredible display via the bar, food and decor. This included beautiful food plates, menus, flowers, waters, desserts, extras, etc. Not to mention that everything was delicious. They were friendly, professional and super cool. Shake just worked at my wedding and they did an amazing job! I received compliments about how great the mixed drinks were as well as the wine/beer options. We had 2 signature cocktails (Moscow Mule with cherry and lime juice, and a specifically made Margarita) along with wine, beer and champagne. The bartenders were fun and obviously enjoyed their job. They got along well with the guests and other vendors. Not only was the service and drinks at the wedding a hit but also the coordination with Tara beforehand. We hired Shake Bartenders for our March 2015 wedding and were so pleased! Tara is a true professional and worked with me back and forth over several months during the crazy wedding planning process. They were also able to pick up our food and bring it to our venue (Chipotle does not offer drop-off services) which was a HUGE bonus and weight off my shoulders. We hired Shake for our wedding reception (bartend, serve) and we couldn't have asked for better service. It was a smaller event, so we were careful to have things ready and easy, but no need, as Chris, Rich and Quinn stepped in and took over (without being asked, they just knew)...unpacking and placing rental items, organizing the catering, setting up the bar, etc. Very friendly, eager to please, and great at anticipating questions and offering solutions. Craig is very helpful with planning, his prices are extremely competitive, he is very organized, and the bartenders are professional and competent.
