My job entailed replacing two attic fans with my new, in-box units…read more 1- Your billing begins when the handyman leaves their last job. That's $65/hour just to drive to the worksite. 2- He arrived with an approximate 4 rung step ladder, which by itself would have created a challenge to get into the attic from an interior trap door on an 8 foot ceiling. The company made no effort to come out and preview the job, or ask appropriate questions to determine their needs. Since the typical job would mean loosening the shingles to pull the old unit out, roof access is required. Additional trips for equipment/supplies, at $65/hour prompted me to allow him to use my ladder, both outside and inside. 3- The repairman determined it would be easiest and more practical to leave the existing housing in place and just replace the motor fan unit with thermostat. This still required rooftop access. 4- The job was completed with 4 hours of billing AND a hardware charge of some $40. What hardware? Everything was included and there was no need to seal around a housing already in place. No itemized account for the hardware was provided so I can only theorize that I must have been renting the tools that were used. My gut feeling tells me that the billing presumed what the typical fan replacement might require and I was billed on their presumption rather than fact. 5- Mailed them a check for the full amount and added a note about they're being ill-equipped and over-charging for a job they can't substantiate -AND- I won't be using them in the future.

He stayed within budget and his work ethic was fabulous. He is a good communicator and seemed to be on the same page as me throughout the process, so there was no awkwardness regarding conversation and expectations. He has integrity and made sure all the details were addressed. I like the edges to be precise and clean, he does that. I have had other contractors that missed the mark, and it did cost me more time and money. So we have been incredibly happy with Michael, we will refer him and use him again when necessary, because we are now investing in additional properties that need attention. For me, the timing, financial aspect of our projects, the quality of work and ethics are important. Michael's work is stellar at every facet. I can't recommend him high enough. I encourage anyone looking for help, to give him a call. I think you'll be pleased. BTW, my husband is capable and expects work to be done as he asks. However, he works a lot away from home. He felt comfortable leaving the house and I felt completely safe. Mr. Lallo is so respectful and professional.

The overall interior painting project turned out quite nicely done; however, upon closer…read moreinspection, there were several areas where greater attention to detail would have improved the final result. While the main work was completed satisfactorily, the finish quality was inconsistent in several spots, including uneven edges, missed areas on the trim, paint on adjacent surfaces, and other minor imperfections that detract from the overall appearance. Mostly, couldn't believe they didn't cover/protect my main living room window from paint splatters. I had to have a trusted window cleaner remove them. Found my vacuum cleaner was used (not a shop vac) to vacuum drywall. This in essence kills a vacuum as cleaning it is difficult if not useless (and I consult a vacuum cleaning shop). I bought a new one. A more thorough inspection by the contractor after the crew considered the job complete may have resulted in a more professional outcome and reduced the need for return visits to address these issues. Realize Ryan, whose company it is, doesn't do the work but also doesn't oversee the crew he sends out. There were multiple areas with uneven coverage and details that appeared neglected. Given the company's strong reputation and ratings, I expected a cleaner finish and more rigorous quality control. While the overall result is good, the project would have benefitted from greater care and attention to detail throughout the finishing process. Note: Brendan & Jordan mentioned in a previous review did not come out to my home.
