We used Michael Lallo for dry wall repair, new walls we put in with our remodel, as well as indoor and outdoor paint. His timing was perfect for our needs. He stayed within budget and his work ethic was fabulous. He is a good communicator and seemed to be on the same page as me throughout the process, so there was no awkwardness regarding conversation and expectations. He has integrity and made sure all the details were addressed. I like the edges to be precise and clean, he does that. I have had other contractors that missed the mark, and it did cost me more time and money. So we have been incredibly happy with Michael, we will refer him and use him again when necessary, because we are now investing in additional properties that need attention. For me, the timing, financial aspect of our projects, the quality of work and ethics are important. Michael's work is stellar at every facet. I can't recommend him high enough. Michael painted my cupboards and my interior. Due to his extensive background in drywall and paint, he patched some holes, finished parts of my ceiling and was extremely professional. he did such a great job and made my home look perfect! the cupboards were previously painted and he made all the colors match perfectly! We hired Apex to paint some rooms and a large hallway in an old home we just bought in Medford. Michael, the owner was very responsive and gave us a detailed written estimate which we accepted. Michael and his team showed up when they said they would and were very meticulous in their approach to the painting. They did a beautiful job and were very personable and professional. It is apparent that Michael cares about the work the company undertakes and wants to do the very best job possible, which is rare in this homogenized world. While we hired Apex to perform a painting job, they are a full service contractor and I'm sure they would bring the same pride and care to any job they undertake. We called Michael from Apex Contractors for a proposal not knowing anyone in the area and we liked him from the first contact. We saw that he takes pride in his work and was a good fit for us to upgrade a manufactured home we bought in Medford from out of state. Apex did a beautiful job of completely redoing the walls and ceiling throughout to get the home ready for move in. They removed the original wallpaper and funky window trim, textured the drywall with wrap-around window casings, and painted everything from top to bottom so we have a nice new consistent finish everywhere. It looks like a brand new home now. Michael took ownership of the process and worked out the kinks of upgrading a manufactured home to make sure we were happy with the end result. I did not have any work preformed by them because of the odd quote. I needed my exterior painted. I have a townhome which is connected to another. Michael came out to check it out, quoted my over $12k. I let him know I only have 1 unit. He then revised the quote to only take off $850 (so a second unit only cost $850 to paint?). I let him know, the quote for $11k is still double than any other quote I received. He quickly responded that since it was only half, he would charge $7,500.00. Once again, still a few grand higher than anyone else. I am confused on how fast this price changed and how he even based the price or price change at all. read more

We needed a full interior paint job to be done quickly, over some very loud and bright colors. Michael with Apex came through by being able to accommodate our tight timeline and get the job done. I like so many things about Michael and company; from their prompt response to my initial call to their timely "bid visit" the next day. Their drywall repair and paint work was excellent and done in an expeditious, thoughtful and thorough manner. But this was the most important, impressive component: Michael and crew care.
