As a part of annual maintenance, Matthew and Pedro conducted a thorough inspection of my heating and cooling systems. Both technicians were clean, professional, friendly, and highly competent. They arrived on time. The inspection was thorough as every part of both systems were tested and rated (with the appropriate instrument). In the end, Matthew and Pedro shared a report with pictures of all the parts and their subsequent ratings. They went over the entire report with me in an understandable manner. Our system died on Monday the 28th after the 5th power outage in July. We called RV Heating and Cooling after hours and got an immediate response that night. For a special deal of $99.00 they will come out and find something wrong with your unit. They don't service it. They just diagnose issues. They wanted to charge us over $300.00 for our "bad" condenser. A condenser either works or it doesn't. We can do it ourselves for around $30.00. Be very careful. I will NEVER use them again. read more

My heat pump went out when it was 101º yesterday here in Cave Junction. After hours, I gave Rogue Valley a call which was promptly directed to a local service guy willing to come to my place last night. I declined that offer and said the morning would be fine. 7:30 this morning, I received a call from Rogue Valley that a service person nearby would be notified. Within minuted, I received a call from Nick, who was located in Eagle Point. He said he would be here within an hour. He was indeed. Very pleasant person whom I liked right away, because he liked my dog. Nick diagnosed the problem almost right away, had the part in his truck and the problem was fixed. My heat pump is pumping cold air again on another 100º+ degree day. The cost was reasonable and the service prompt and professional. I highly recommend Nick and Rogue Valley Heating & Air, and so does my little dog. read more

We called Rogue Valley H&A for the installation of a new install heat pump. Reception was very courteous and helpful and got us scheduled right away with a consultation. After a lot of research we knew beforehand the system we wanted (Carrier Infinity). Austin and Paxton came out to assess and bid the job; both were extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had a bid within hours, fully explained and signed the contract. Work commenced within two weeks (an electrician had to be contacted as well, which RVH&A arranged) and the job was completed in two days by highly skilled (and very nice) Jeremy and Bill. From first contact to up-and-running took all of about three weeks, which I find amazing inasmuch as it was in prime busy August. We could not be happier with the Carrier unit and who we chose to install it. Grade A+ all the way around! read more

I'd love to rate them higher. Like seriously, who wouldn't want your ac working in July in southern Oregon when you have family visiting and a baby who Is cranky and had several heat rashes during June and July??! We've been waiting well over a month between a couple Service calls. It was 83 today in my house today at 7 pm while it was 79 outside. I wake daily to open everything and turn on box fans(like you do back in the ol days without ac?!). This is the 3rd or 4th time we've dealt with them and they made an appointment for over a week out. We need a new unit, wait no, it's been sabotaged, or hold up? It needs more insulation, piping and coolant. No... you are crap and your Nickle and diming your customers. Not only that? I probably should have just kept my mouth shut and maybe they would have fixed it like they said the first two time. My bad! Your employee is a sexist jerk. Go elsewhere. If your a homeowner who rents, they will make you think your tenant is an idiot and charge you for several visits. If your a tenant, do your part and stand down...especially if your a woman. Especially if it's Richard.... otherwise you too, may have to deal with well over a month of a Ac unit that freezes several times a day no matter how much you baby it or how high you set the temp. If the heater door actually blew off the unit from the flame, why wasn't the white caulk black? Oh, I know, the flames went around the caulk. Yeah. I watched you put the screws into your blue left hand hoodie pocket that coincidently was empty after you came out of your work van. All you women out there that run into businesses that take advantage of you with fraudulent actions and words; contact OR district attorney. They keep businesses honest. It's a toll free number. Recently had a new heat pump system installed when our old system ran out of irreplaceable Freon. The new system was installed on time and works wonderfully. The temperature is more comfortably maintained without cold drafts and it operates with much less noise. We are very satisfied! read more

After spending close to 7000. (3 weeks ago) on a new heat pump system with this company, I tried to get them back to check the vent system, which is something Jim the salesman said they would do, and help us set up the online system control. Apparently once you pay for your system there is no completion of the entire job. Our registers are still venting cold air when the pump system is not running, and we are working thru the online set up ourselves. I've yet to hear back from anyone..... let the consumer beware with this company! read more
