Completely Different Issue (when it rains....) I cheated and skipped the office phone and contacted JP directly *I was panicked and desperate*. HVAC people were supposed to start work and found a plumbing leak. Not an easy fix, it was an actual hole in the middle of our 1960's original plumbing (not at a connection point - I could have done that myself). Experienced plumbers are STILL in high demand and it's getting harder and harder to find someone you Know and Trust. Poor JP, because of this old house, I put him and Tank's Plumbing in my contact list *YOU SHOULD TOO* It was a dirty job, underneath the house, deep in the corner, muddy and a couple of dead rodents from the exterminator doing his job 2-3 years ago *YIKES and sorry :/ They are meticulous and do a quality repair. As a homeowner, this is the place you want to do your plumbing repairs. They replaced the entire section and connection that was nearby the degraded pipe. Makes sense that the connection a few inches from the hole was going to have problems next *thank you for thinking ahead*. It did not cost me anything extra and they came under estimated budget and made the repair in record time! They under promise and OVER DELIVER! Every homeowner needs to have a plumber on file, Tank's Plumbing *You're Welcome* read more

We were clearly quoted 65 an hour at the start of a fairly easy project involving fixing a dime sized link on a pcp pipe. We wer charged 800 dollars for 4.5 hours of work, including the 50 dollars for parts. When we asked why the discrepancy in pricing, Jordan said he had said 165 an hour. Not true. read more

Now I'm really upset I had to let this plumbing company go on my commercial building because they miss measured the toilet flange and put it 4 in too close to a wall, even at 10 inch flange toilet would not fit so I had to have an architect redraw the wall to a 2x6, to put counting to approve it and by a 10-in special toilet all costing me two thousand dollars. All they did was argue about it instead of just fixing it . Now, today I find out that the generator installation that they did at my home a few years ago wasn't proper either. Avista Gas came out today and found out that it was leaking and that the flexible connection was not rated for vibration on my generator so, guess what, I get to pay even more money to have it properly installed. read more

Travis came and replaced some low quality drain and disposer sink fittings from when our home was built. He was quick, pleasant and highly professional. I will use Tanks Plumbing for any plumbing needs. They've been in business since 2013 and their experience and professionalism shows why. We could not be more pleased. read more

Quick response and good price. Quick response and good price. Quick response and good price.

The plumber showed up at the time expected. He was professional & very knowledgeable. He rebuilt two faucets (saving me the expense of replacement), & took care of ALL the other line items on my checklist. I have used Tank's Plumbing before, & would not hesitate to call them again. read more

Extremely disappointed with Tanks Plumbing. We originally hired them to fix a clogged sewer line, but during their work, they broke the sewer line itself. It took 5 days for them to come back to repair it, and after replacing the line, they left a 6-foot hole in our front yard -- which sat open and unfinished for 6 weeks. When it was finally time for the final replacement of the $4,000 sewer line, they showed up a day early without notice, when we couldn't be there to inspect the work. During this rushed job, they broke an irrigation line, failed to pressure test the repair, backfilled the trench without telling us, and then pressured us to sign off on the work, claiming there was "no damage." Only after we found out about the irrigation leak did they admit they had damaged it, and their response was completely unprofessional: "Expose it and show me the leak if you don't want to pay us to dig it up." Absolutely unacceptable level of care, communication, and accountability. I would not recommend Tanks Plumbing to anyone. read more

I just went through a nightmare plumbing emergency--a leaking pipe behind a bathroom wall that was spilling out from behind the wall and through the floor. I needed someone immediately and I called about 10 plumbers all over southern Oregon from Yelp and Google. About half of them weren't taking any new customers at all. The other half couldn't come out until days later at the earliest, while some even couldn't come out for weeks. Tank's was the only one who took my call and had someone come out within the hour! I was honestly leery that no one else would even come out and they came out right away, but to my surprise the plumber was really knowledgeable, fast, and skilled. Oh and they also were very clear about how much it might cost even before they came out and did their best to keep the bill as low as possible, while still fixing the problem. If ever I need a plumber again in southern Oregon, I will call no one else. Tank's has earned my trust for life! read more

I have a recommend tanks Plumbing! Cooper was amazing to deal with, he was extremely professional and accountable, a good communicator. I had a major sewer line repair that went extremely well in a precarious setting on a hillside. I showed up when they said they would, finish the job early and cleaned up as best that could be expected. I am ecstatic!. They won't disappoint! read more

On time for a job replacing metal pipes for a new shower/bath job. Clayton was straight up and communication clear. Project completion quality was good and done within a very reasonable time window. We had been using accurate for years and glad we finally made the switch. The cost was very reasonable and the value far exceeded that of what accurate now costs. Definitely will utilize Tank's in the future. Jared read more

Prompt service and identify the problem quickly. Would definitely use again. Kaleb was efficient and polite.

We had a pipe leaking from behind our water heater and called on a Monday morning in a panic ! All other plumbing companies were backed up for days . Called Clayton's team, they put us on a list - called back 15 minutes later and he had someone there by midday . Kaleb was very professional, neat and clean (no plumbers butt !) explained in detail what we needed and had the repair done within 2-1/2 hours . No mess, no fuss ... done right . We can't thank you guys enough !!!! read more

3 year old Hot water heater failed. They were the assigned provider by our home warranty company. They don't do weekends or emergency calls. I was told to email and text the two principals which I did. The owner(s) of Tanks doesn't even answer their phones til 10 am. "My wife turns on the phone at 10 am (their website says they open at 8)" We have been without hot water for two days and when I tried to get an approximate appointment time they texted me "No time frame yet. Probably just will be on the working list and we will call when on our way." They had me email and text them and yet they are so disorganized they cannot even answer the phone or give me an estimate of time and day. We changed to another and very responsive plumber who will be here within the hour. read more

We had a problem turning off the hot water in our tub on the Friday after Christmas.. We ended up speaking with Clayton, who was very informative. We ordered the part that we needed from the manufacturer (it is not a common brand). John was at our home bright and early the day after New Years to install the new cartridge. The whole process could not have gone smoother especially during the holidays. I was very impressed by their responsiveness, knowledge, and professionalism. And The price they charged was very reasonable. read more

It's been a couple of months now since Tank's installed our new hot water heater. So this review is a little late in coming. But the pleasure of plentiful hot water has prompted me to write. In a word, Tank's is terrific! All of the staff that I've dealt with have been professional, knowledgeable and kind. The installer who came out to switch out our old heater was efficient and clearly great at his job. Clayton the owner was responsive to my texts and calls from inquiry about the unit itself to after installation questions about adjustments and such. He even offered to come out himself if I had an issue. He's clearly proud of his company and with reason. I highly recommend Tank's. Thanks Tank's! read more

Found them based on yelp reviews, decided to give them a go. I clearly communicated 3 things I wanted them to do. They were speedy on getting to the job but failed to complete 2/3 of the work hired. Their tech never communicated with me his repairs or finding, so I had to contact the owner. Super frustrated and disappointed to be billed for a job that was NOT completed. To top it off, they wanted to charge me a $25 late fee while I was still trying to resolve the issue with the owner, who agreed the tech only completed 1/3 of the work hired. As a hard working, honest person I'm keeping my fingers crossed that maybe this was just a fluke. I get that we all drop the ball from time to time, communication/managing/running a business is a challenge in itself. BUT...If it were not for the many positive reviews they have, this would easily be a 1 star rating from me. They seem like a great firm and all, but when a tech can't perform the duties hired or communicate findings it's a real red flag. I'm still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and the chance for the owner to reach out and make this right. read more

John from Tank's Plumbing was efficient and professional. My hot water is back on! Thank you!!

As a local Realtor I have worked with Clayton at Tank's a few times now and every time he and Sandra have been great to work with. They communicate well, always let me know if they can take on a job or not (no ghosting or not returning calls), and when they can do the work, they do a fabulous job and are always on time. Today Clayton and Sandra went above and beyond by taking care of a small 5 minute fix for free, took pics I needed for another contractor and returned an unused water heater that was purchased by the home owner by accident. They are wonderful and I highly recommend them! read more

Consumer beware. The scores do not reflect the true situation. Clayton Tank is basically an alcoholic so if you call after 4 pm to reach him, you will be treated very rudely. His long time girlfriend Sandra Baker is the office manager (only office person) and she is a very rude, spiteful and greedy person. Both of these people running this business are not interested in the customer experience. They do have plumbers that work for them who are really good, the problem is that they do not treat their employee plumbers with any respect. The plumbers leave to go work for Hukill's their first chance. Do yourself a favor and call Hukill's first. Avoid this company at all costs. They told me I needed a new pressure valve, then they switched the valve and said it was installed backwards. They told me it would be an additional $150 for switching the valve around and this was not including the trip fee. The office manager Sandra Baker hounded me with emails saying I owed them fees outside of the $75 visit. This plumber has zero customer service sense and no sense for employee and customer retention. I took the time to explain the situation by phone and at least 6 emails. Sandra kept going around and around when the problem was that they failed to bill the situation properly. Thankfully, I am able to work with Hukill's on a frequent basis based upon Sandra Baker and Tank's Plumbing trying to black ball me. This company of Tank's plumbing is a nightmare. Just avoid this company at all costs. read more

Clayton Tank was a great advisor when I called him about a job. He showed up at my house after work the very day I called to take a look. He spent time explaining what he thought I'd want to meet my needs best, as opposed to what Hukill's thought, and I completely agreed. Hukill's wanted to dig a trench that would damage my giant cedar to repair a leak in the main water line. Clayton suggested that it would be best not to patch the line, but replace it as it's 50 years old and the PVC will crack again somewhere else from those roots. Made total sense. It turned out that the special equipment that could bore around the roots sensitively instead of chopping through them was available at another company, and he sent me to them, and I was pleased with the work. But if I ever have another plumbing job, I'll want to give my business to Tank's. Good advice from a pro is priceless! SO many positive reviews from friends, not just about the work, but his reasonable price! They were all very pleased with him. read more

Excellent company. Sandra in the office is responsive and CJ who did the install was professional and informative. We had a gas line installed. Sandra made sure everything was scheduled and CJ (and Caleb) did the install and were great about explaining the process and best of all they followed through on what they said they were going to do. So many people and companies give you their "word" and it isn't worth anything. Not TANKS. If you have any plumbing needs I would suggest you call Tanks and have them do the work. It will be done right the first time and on time. read more

We just moved to Medford and are fixing up our new old house. Like all old houses it needs lots of things fixing and we have had a variety of contractors in working on things. To a company this has been abysmal, terrible, sloppy work, over-priced, non-professionals. So imagine our absolute delight when we stumbled across Tanks. They are friendly from the moment you call Sandra? to schedule, they show up promptly, their work and site protection is first rate and they are reasonably priced. The last plumber they sent out is a gem, Johnny, very knowledgeable, went the extra mile to get us the right part, came back twice in 45 minutes because of a problem with the part and installed the faucet so quickly and cleanly, I didn't even have a chance to have a cup of tea. And he is so pleasant, personable and very customer oriented! Love them, they have our business from here on out and other contractors should take lessons from them! read more

I am a current renter. When we had plumbing problems, my landlord called Tank's. Theg were very thorough and gave my landlord an excellent price. The problem was I waited 3 months to get everything fixed because my landlord didn't want to pay. After checking with 4 more plumbers, he realized Tank's was the best price and most qualified. The two brothers came in today and fixed everything. They are professional at a great price! I now have their number. I am in the process of buying and they will be my number one plumbers. read more

My kitchen faucet started leaking in a position to cause big problems if not fixed. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Tim showed up at up at the beginning of the given time frame. Clayton did excellent repair work for us. The project was on time and under budget. We recommend this company.

Every time I turned on my automatic sprinkler system, flushed a toilet or turned on a faucet the house started shaking and made a loud noise. I thought it was an earthquake. Thank goodness for Tanks Plumbing. After a couple of other plumbers couldn't figure out what was wrong, Tim nailed the problem right away. It was a very complicated procedure, but they diagnosed it and figured out the solution. Honestly, it was like having a surgeon. Needless to say, the irrigation and pressure problem was remedied immediately and the water pressure is better than ever. I am so grateful for their supportive attitude and incredible work ethic. There was a lot of digging involved in this project and Tim left the area worked on neat and clean. I highly recommend Tanks Plumbing and will use them for any future plumbing problems. I would give them 10 stars, if I could! read more

Clayton the owner is very professional, will take the time to explain everything that's going on with your water leak. I called other plumbers and it would take them 3 to 4 days to see me. Our water heater stopped working and Clayton responded to a Home Warranty service request. I'd tried re-lighting the pilot but it wouldn't stay on. Over the phone he walked me through a self-repair to block a clogged filter at the bottom of the water heater, and voila! it works again. No cost, no hassle, and a quicker fix than waiting for a service call. I'm always impressed and grateful when a service professional helps me solve my own problem for no fee. read more

I needed to have my hot water fixed today in order to keep peace in my house. And Tanks sent someone out in the early afternoon for a pretty budget fix. They also talked me through what they saw when working on the water heater and checked to make sure everything was still working.
