I've been using Jahnke for several years for both my Ashland properties. They are professional, prompt and curious. While I gave them 5 stars, I did have a frustration with my latest experience. My technician recommended 2 replacement parts for my AC. I asked him 3x to explain the two issues in "laymans" terms, and the young technician just didn't seem capable of doing this. He jut kept repeating himself. One replacement part had something to do with electricity going to the unit. The second replacement part related to a fan issue. I trusted that Jahnke wouldn't recommend something that I didn't need and went ahead with the replacement parts. But I truly needed a better explanation of the issues. I now need to call Jahnke to get a better explanation. read more

Technician no showed twice & didn't successfully repair my heat pump. Left us cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Don't trust this company! They do not guarantee there work! My response is simple... Why no phone call, email or otherwise? Poor communication is no excuse for lack of service. I got an appointment set eight days out. The technician came on time. He immediately saw that the natural gas/heated water coils is NOT something that he or Jahnke works on. He called the main office and got the name of another business that he thought would do the work. There was no charge. read more

I can't say enough favorable comments about Jahnke air conditioner installer Lucas Bailon! He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He answered my questions about what he was doing at each phase of the installation and explained how best to maintain both my air conditioner and furnace. Have lived in this 2400 sq ft single story home 50 years. Because of a br add on at other end from furnace, heating & air conditioning balance always a problem. Had crawl space evaluation of entire home and quote for needed repairs. Steve did original quote for a service call about $100. Today, he just finished 4 hours of repairs etc. and our final price was less than original quote as we did not need major trunk line replaced. Steve arrived early, worked hard in crawl spaces that are very tight, fixed a dryer vent hose break and increased the air flow to the distant bedroom. Summary: doing expert repairs in spaces I don't visit in my senior years is worth any price; however their bill was very fair and they get my full recommendation. TT read more

Jaron did a fine job on our HVAC maintenance, and arrived on time with a phone call 10 minutes before arrival. Our furnace is 19 years old and although he verified it is still functioning safely, he noted it may be getting close to be thinking about an upgrade. Exceptional service and compassionate personal customer care. Our Lennox Smart Hub failed. Our furnace was out for 6 days. Closed up half the house and heated the rest with space heaters. Meanwhile an ice storm north of here delayed delivery of the parts we needed. Jahnke came back out and patched our system together with parts from their shop knowing we had no heat and no replacement parts. Charging us nothing for temporary repair job. The parts arrived and their technician painstakingly went through the process of getting us familiar with the operation of the new smart system. Check uneven a/c distribution in house and system humidifier. In the course of trouble shooting, Jeff discovered a burn mark on the outlet where the humidifier unit was plugged in. He unplugged it, and advised me to get an electrician in asap. He said he would order a new plug and humidifier filter meanwhile.
