This is really the only shop in the valley that has ski equipment except for black bird. I have had great experiences with most of the male sales reps and the owner. She really needs to fire the guy with long hair. He is very rude and is not really interested in helping out in anyway. He actually walked away as I was about to ask a question. He doesn't care about this company and gives a bad image of what this valley represents. The rest of the fellas are fun and helpful. This guy has had negative reviews before so please stop the bleeding before the reputation gets around. read more

I really appreciate the great service at this legend in the valley. When you go to a big box store, you mostly get a great selection, but the customer service is somewhat lacking. Not only does this shop have great selection, but they have awesome customer service. The long haired guy Donovan really took care of me and my little boarder. I recently picked up a snowboard setup for my 5 year old niece from the shop and the experience was amazing. All of the staff at Rogue Ski shop made me feel welcome and were able to help be find the right setup and answer all of my questions. Just went into rogue ski shop to get a pair of new Burton step in bindings mounted and new Burton boots heat molded. Some know it all behind the counter refused to do it because he said the boots were too big for me even though I told him that's what size I wear. After I told him, I guess I would just go somewhere else because he didn't want to help me. He all of a sudden changed his tune. I will never do business with this location ever again. Haven't written a Yelp review in a minute. Was helped by Collin for 30+ minutes outfitting my growing 10 year old daughter in skis. He was insanely helpful and knowledgeable about boot fit, pole height, ski height, etc., while also being mindful about me hoping she can use it for 2 seasons (fingers crossed). He even went downstairs to find us used when possible instead of only pushing us toward the new gear. In the end, we ended up with new boots, skis that were adjusted to fit the boots, a wax on the skis, and custom cut poles to fit her height. I wouldn't have had any idea where to begin outfitting her without Collin's assistance. 5 stars. Will never shop anywhere else. read more

My fiancé and I drove a LONG way to visit Rogue Ski Shop today for the first time (100+ miles), as we don't have a ski/board shop in our town. We were NOT disappointed. She bought a pair of K2 Boa snowboard boots, and I bought a pair of gloves and a new Giro Union Mips helmet. The staff was extremely kind, FUNNY to talk with, and unbelievably helpful. They measured both of us for our gear without us even asking, and gave great advice. They also applied any discount they could find to our purchases. We didn't feel like they only wanted our money. They wanted to provide good gear with killer service, and that they did. We both walked away smiling with some sweet new gear. It's safe to say, we will be coming back for pretty much anything we need snow related even if it means driving 100 miles. Online has nothing on this shop (they probably have anything you would be looking for online anyway). We give this place a HUGE 10/10 without ANY hesitation whatsoever. I've been to ski shops in many large ski resort towns and I swear this is the best experience I've ever had. The owner has been there for a long time and was working hard to give me a discount and make the price as reasonable as possible. The sales rep I worked with was patient and knowledgeable helping me buy boots that will work for backcountry and resort skiing. They have great deals on packages if you are buying more than one thing. They even quick and effectively waxed our skis for a great price. I was born and raised in the Rogue Valley and Rogue Ski Shop has always been the go to ski shop and have always loved the local feel and friendliness that it has provided to our community throughout my life until recently. I recently took my daughter in to look at gear for her and I and the long haired male employee was so rude when I asked for help he refused get off his stool and clearly seemed annoyed that I was even asking for help when I had questions about gear recommendations, instead of going on the floor to look at and discuss gear he just told me to go downstairs and look for a pair of skis he was talking about. I have always thought that Bob ran a great Buisness and always had knowledgeable friendly staff, but after my encounter yesterday I will no longer give rogue ski shop my Buisness nor will I recommend them. Sad day for local businesses when a long standing one is this disrespectful! read more

Colon helped me get them fitted right again, with no charge, so I decided to look for some goggles. They had a huge selection and priced affordability. Lots of sale items from last year. I created a Yelp account spcifically so I could write this review. The customer service was above and beyond!!! I live in the Reno and was visiting family in Oregon over Christmas. I was needing new bindings for my snowboard, so my wife and I checked out Rogue Ski Shop (where I had purchased my first snowboard about 30 years ago). The staff was friendly, funny, and super helpful with questions. The price was better than anything I've seen in Nevada and better than what I could find online, so buying the bindings there was a no brainer. I got home to Reno, excited to put my new bindings on my board. I opened the box and realized that the bindings didn't match. One binding was the Burton EST style, the other was not. I called the next day, honestly thinking that I was going to be in for quite a hassle. I spoke to Sandi on the phone and she apologized for the the problem and promised to overnight the correct binding to me. Sure enough, the new binding showed up the next day, with a pre-paid return label (for me to return the incorrect binding), a very nice hand written note and a brand new Hydro Flask to apologize for the inconvienence. My wife is due for new gear in the next year or so, and though we live in the Reno / Tahoe area with more ski shops than you can count, we'll be buying her gear next time we're visiting Oregon at Rogue Ski Shop. read more

These guys were awesome. I went in to get bindings and boots and they helped me find the best option for the price range I needed to stay in. They installed the bindings on my skis that day even though it was busy and pretty close to closing time. I really wanted to ski the next day and I was able to come back at closing time to my skis ready to go! I felt very comfortable and I felt as though I was treated with respect. They put my son's bindings on at no cost since we bought his board there. After getting home he noticed nipples formed from the screws being too long for the board. We thought we could fix it ourselves. We end up stripping the bolt...way too tight. We took it down, they were very busy, showed it to one of the guys behind the counter. He immediately took his board to try and get the bolt undone. The owner came up and tried it as well and decided to take it to the back where they repair the boards. In a half hour he totally repaired the board along a new wax job. He was very busy when we walked in and took it upon himself the repair was done right. Awesome customer service!! Today we went to Rogue ski shop to find ski gear since klamath falls has no selection for anyone over a size medium. We were greeted like we were old friends. They took really good care of us! making sure we had found the pants we wanted in the right size. They then made sure to get us all the info about boots and skis. they have a professional fitting the boots and not just some high school kid!
