Being in the store kind of reminds me of it's a mix between the Waltons Clint Eastwood and the Duke all rolled up in one, great spot.. My wife found something she had to have last week visiting the new digs, and I did as well, and again, we received exemplary service. So just how do YOU look at value? Is it just the bottom line, or the overall service, availability in-stock, convenience, and the business relationship important factors? While we all can get fixated on bottom line prices and who has the lowest, there is also the factors of time, shipping costs, travel costs, etc that factors-in to your cost of purchasing items...and IMO, Fox excels in this matter. One may say "well you know I can get this item for $XXX somewhere else"- but did you have to drive to Medford? Gas costs money. Time is money. Shipping costs money. When you factor-in those things, you may (often) find that you didn't get so great of a deal elsewhere after all. Fox Firearms offers REAL VALUE when you purchase from them. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the service & staff, knowledge,/experience, and the local availability are all part of the bundle, and if they don't have it, they oftentimes CAN get it. I've only used them for one third-party transfer in the past because it was a hard to get, limited availability item; otherwise- I won't insult them with buying from someone else and having FOX do the transfer...(edit 11/10/25- my only caveat is that I'm talking about what they HAVE IN STOCK. I just ordered something that FOX didn't have in stock, and this will be the second third-party transfer I'm doing with them.) Today a "greeter" if you could call her that- said no shopping or entrance without a physical member card in hand. When told we have been there many times without, she claimed not possible they have always been this way. Clearly, not true. When a "greeter" argues and doesn't want you to go in, that's a big red flag to take our business elsewhere. I have purchased a few bigger items at a decent price but the rest isn't any bargain at all. So I can get anything there same price or less elsewhere which I will do. Sad. I like to look at the tools and they were what you would think, miss matched sockets and screw drivers. My wife looked at the clothes and then gave me the let's go look, I still wanted to look deeper into the collection of stuff. After a couple more minutes we decided that maybe we would come back at another time. One mans trash is another mans treasure I say , my wife disagrees.
