Never worn Banana Republic blouse 50cents? HECK YES! The people who donate here donate quality items. The lack of service mentioned in another review probably has to do with the fact that it is run by volunteers. It is also generally a VERY slow place to work (I have talked with the people in there a lot) and when you get literally a costumer every three hours I can see why they may get caught up in a personal conversation..... sometimes it is other regulars (customers) who have sat down to chat as I would guess was the situation Marie was talking about because they never have more than two people on at a time as that would be ridiculous in the small slow store. If not being greeted ruins a shop for you so completely than I would say maybe you have the problem...........As a shop girl myself else where I know about 75% of the time I greet people they either IGNORE me completely or act like I am the most annoying person on earth. Its happening less because I can read people better. I can usually tell the ones that want to be greeted helped from the leave me alone types.

I've even found a cute plant for sale now and then. They have a whole section on scrap booking stuff, pottery, jewelry. The only thing I really dislike is the older lady that works there. She is so sour and looks at you with a frown at all times, I'm not sure if she's the owner or a worker bee, but either way, she is not good for business. Maybe be a little friendlier to the people coming into your shop to spend their money? I'm still leaving a good star rating because the selection itself in the store is nice (although some things are way too overpriced).

For a place that's stuffed to the gills, it's quite meticulously organized. Which is pretty…read morefantastic, actually. Because with antiques and second-hand shops, you often find one of two situations: (1) Cheap prices at the cost of sorting through a total jumbled mess. (2) Highly curated finds at collectors' prohibitive prices. This spot has the huge quantities and varieties you want, but with friendly-enough prices and understandable categories. You might imagine with Dan'l Boone being conjured there'd be more pelts and rusty rustics, but it's more traditional antique store/consignment shop fare -- trivets, glasswear, cookie jars shaped like standing mixers, phones shaped like toilets -- with an extra large tool section, some furniture, and a random weapons assortment. Boone-y enough for me.

Additionally, anyone who disrespects my family (especially a 3 year old who was beyond well behaved and polite) deserves to be treated accordingly. Left immediately without saying what I wanted to. It makes my stomach turn that people are so unkind in this world when others try to be a bright light in the world- like innocent babies. Good riddance. I'd give zero stars if allowed.
