My brand new Tesla was four days old, and had only 500 miles on it. Down in Happy camp, a lady, not…read morelooking what she was doing, backed her giant Nissan Titan Pickup. Right into the front of my vehicle, almost caving in the front end. The vehicle was brought here, because this was the closest Tesla authorized collision center to where the accident happened. The people here at star were great from the very beginning. They saw that I was very upset, and they were patient and they were understanding. We got the vehicle checked in, and they got me into a rental. They had the vehicle almost a month, and with the cost of the repairs, I was worried they were going to total the vehicle. They didn't, because the vehicle was so new and it still had such a high value. They listened to my concerns, and they were very reassuring. I didn't have to do anything. All of the paperwork went through my insurance company, USAA, which went onto the other person's insurance company. The entire time they had my vehicle, they kept me in the loop as to what was going on. If I had any questions, I could call. I spoke to Jared a few times, and he always had the answers to my questions. At the end of September, my vehicle was ready. I brought my rental from Sacramento back up to Medford, dropped it off, and they brought me my Tesla. It almost looks better than when I got it off of the showroom floor. They did an excellent job, the vehicle looks and runs great. I finally got to meet Jared in person. He explained everything that happened, and gave me all of the paperwork I needed so I can file a diminished value claim for my vehicle against the other person's insurance. From Medford, I took off on a one week almost 2000 mile road trip, and the vehicle is just handling absolutely amazingly. Thank you so much to star for getting me back on the road, for being reassuring when I had any questions, and then just keeping me in the loop the entire time. I can see why they are a Tesla authorized collision center.

Went to Star in Medford, OR for an estimate for minor rear bumper paint scratches. Was told that…read morethe bumper must be replaced as per insurance guidelines! Their estimate was $3100+ 2 other auto body shop estimates were less than $1000. Star is in the business of milking the insurance companies. They make estimates and turn those in for insurance payments and,as a result generally get what they estimate. Please stay away from this place. They do have a very nice building and waiting room I wonder how those were paid for!!

My car was damaged due to high winds in early January…read more Insurance company offered 'Star' or 'Lithia' to do the repair work. Got estimate at Star of $5000 & $4000 from Lithia so decided to help my insuarnce company by choosing Lithia. After keeping my car for a week it turned out that they missed MANY of the scratches and I had to go back. They now held my vehicle for ANOTHER solid week & yesterday I had to point out that they STILL missed some of the scratches. I haven't been able to recover my vehicle yet. It is now nearing the end of April. Hindsight being 20/20 I will use Star or another body shop in the future.

It's now close to the middle of May and since then I've heard nothing. Ghosted. Unprofessional customer service. The kind of customer service that makes you feel a certain way. The plastic lenses dull the ability for light to illuminate the road properly. I see them on a lot of vehicles on the road. I'm surprised they can see the road, some are so bad??
