We dropped the car off mid august with the understanding that they had the parts, would give us updates on the vehicle Tuesday's and Thursday's, and that it would be about two weeks before we had it back. The goal was for us to not have the vehicle totaled out and we had explained that to them and they were willing to work with us if it were to get close to that. After about three weeks of hearing absolutely nothing from them, we found out from our insurance that the car was being totaled instead of being fixed. The same day we found that out we received a call from the tow truck company who was going to be taking the car to see if we had cleaned it out yet. So we rushed down there under the impression that it was going to be towed that afternoon, but instead later found out that the people at the shop told the tow company that we had not cleaned out the car yet. After we had already been there and specifically told them it was empty and handed the keys in. Which led to the process of it being totaled taking even longer because of them not being honest. We had also found out that the main guy who was on my car just never filed the paperwork for the total process which is why it took so long to be processed. I absolutely do not recommend going here they are not professional at all, drag things on way longer than necessary, and have absolutely no communication with the customer.

I decided to shop around and I'm glad I did! I walked in to Lithia and was met by the Assistant Manager, Jeff. I told him that I needed repairs to my truck but it was an unusual request as I had some aftermarket parts I wanted installed instead of OE parts. Jeff said no problem we can handle all of it. I had an aftermarket bumper and headlights installed on top of the general body work that needed to be done as well. Lithia dealt with the insurance and made it very easy on me! When finished, the truck looked perfect. Paint was great, truck was vacuumed and detailed. Some of the best customer service and best work I have ever had when dealing with a body shop. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Got estimate at Star of $5000 & $4000 from Lithia so decided to help my insuarnce company by choosing Lithia. After keeping my car for a week it turned out that they missed MANY of the scratches and I had to go back. They now held my vehicle for ANOTHER solid week & yesterday I had to point out that they STILL missed some of the scratches. I haven't been able to recover my vehicle yet. It is now nearing the end of April. Hindsight being 20/20 I will use Star or another body shop in the future.

I have never had to be a middle man with my insurance and never should have had to be. THAT IS THEIR JOB!! Carstar Aplands has zero integrity when it comes to the quality of their work.
