Initially it was just a few, but then around March we got a bunch and asked for retreatment. That is when the excuses started. Instead of acknowledging the chemicals should be strong enough to last 3 months, we got told that we needed a monthly or bimonthly treatment instead (in 7 years of owning these properties they have never needed more than quarterly treatments), which of course was more costly. When the retreatment was completed they recommended a couple repairs to help prevent bugs getting in which we completed. We then started getting complaints at the other properties as well. These had no recommended repairs and instead we just kept getting excuses and told to upgrade our account to pay them more. Then after our 2nd quarterly treatment in April the wheels fell off. Nonstop complaints at multiple locations. They then started making excuses claiming they are a small family company and cannot commute to our properties (didn't stop them from quoting and taking my money mind you), and started blaming me claiming that the repairs we had already completed at 1 location somehow explained the nonstop complaints at 3 of the 4 locations they treat. They then cancelled the contracts and refused to come out and retreat the properties we had already paid for through the rest of the quarter, violating the agreement we had, and continued to insist I pay them more money for them to retreat. We now have a roach problem that we are going to have to have another company fix, after just 6 months of using these SCAMMERS. Use ANYBODY ELSE

We had springtail bugs popping up everywhere, bouncing around like they just got VIP tickets to Coachella. I told Josh other companies came through, sprayed a little Febreze or whatever, and left us still living in Bugapalooza. Josh just smirked, cracked his knuckles like an action hero, and I told him, "Bring out the big guns." Army veteran? Say less, he knew exactly what that meant. Next thing I know, this dude is going full Rambo, spraying every hole, crack, and crevice like he's on a one-man mission to save the world. By the time he was done, the bugs weren't just gone, they called their little bug Uber to move zip codes. Josh is the GOAT. Super friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and he doesn't leave until the job is DONE. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars? Because the company name is still GreenForce. Let's be real... I have an existing contract with a large company but they wanted to charge me over 4k for treatments, special insulation, etc. so I reached out to Bug State on a recommendation. Bug State saved me from spending $4300 and getting an unnecessary treatment. Ken could have sold me on a lot of work and I wouldn't have known any better but he was honest, gave me real information and never pressured me. I highly recommend them for any pest services. While I still have that contract with the big company, I will be calling Bug State for all future work. Integrity is something that is hard to find these days but it seems to be a cornerstone of how they do business. I tried to contact other contractors, but Michael was the only one to respond immediately. He found a way to get on schedule asap. He completely an interior and exterior inspection, and found the hole in the softer area of the roof in minutes. He worked into the evening with absolute health and safety because he had to install the cage on the second story roof. He provided details to understand what we needed to do to catch the critter. Upon capture, he would be back to us asap with a gentle release. The cage was installed with quality around an 8 inch hole. Upon identifying that we were able to no longer have the animal in the house, Michael came back and performed excellent construction work to patch not only the hole, but the surrounding area . Overall, Michael's professionalism, quality of workmanship, responsiveness, fully transparent in explain all that needed to be done including cos that was reasonable, I made the right decision in hiring Michael's firm to handle a big problem. However, they were all better and willing to take care of my warrantied work. Much to my delight, they showed up on Aug. 8th and installed a one way trap over the problem area. They also used quite a bit of that black styrofoam sealant I've heard so much about in other reviews but whatever, it shouldn't be up long right? After install, they told me they'd be back in a week (unless we called them earlier if a squirrel was caught in trap). Great. Well, today is Sep. 5th (Happy Labor Day!) and I haven't heard a damn thing from anyone at Cypress Critters in a month. Maybe they got monkey pox this time? Is Ebola still around? Maybe the plague. Whatever the case, I didn't care to hear anymore excuses or waste another minute trying to get in touch with this unprofessional business. So, I pulled out my ladder, tore off their trap, scraped off all the black styrofoam sealant I could, and dealt with it myself. I'm probably better off, considering some of the god-awful work I've seen in other reviews. 0 stars. I won't be using them again and good riddance.
