So glad I chose this place ! Raw oyster bar and small intimate dining room area which made date night event more special . Our server was AMAZING and very understanding of the menu and had great recommendations. Everytime I go to blue ridge I'll be sure to stop by .

Been wanting to try this place for a while, was very good! We came in on a Friday night and there was no one else in the restaurant but us which was very surprising! We still had a great dinner with the lamp chop special and the scallops dinner. Two other couples came in for a table while we were sitting there, but the hostess was MIA so they left. Overall some of the best oysters I have ever had!

My go to spot in Blue Ridge for a great seafood dinner! Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. Love their speakeasy type bar in the back for after dinner cocktails too!

Wow! Walked by this place decided to stop in for a drink, 3 hrs later we are having appetizers and dinner. Service was EXCEPTIONAL. Food was amazing!! We had chili, ahi tuna and the fried pork special. Matt made a special made to order drink we named the Spice Lee! What a great experience. We met lots of great people and food was fantastic!!! We had drinks, chili, ahi tuna, deviled eggs that were out of this world and the fried pork chops special.

The food was a good overall. I had the chilean sea bass with a side of mashed potatoes and caramelized mushrooms. The mushrooms had a distinct taste that I didn't care for. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. Especially the oysters! My cousin ordered a side of Mac n cheese.... I'm unsure of how they prepare it, but it too had a funny taste that almost made me spit it out. The ambiance is great and the service was too, nice and cozy.

Honestly, I would give this 10 stars. My husband and I have eaten all over the world and we absolutely love eating here. The food is amazing. The drinks are fabulous. The service is just fantastic. We love Blue Ridge and this restaurant is a welcome edition. Wonderful highly recommend. The ambience is so nice. It's always a relaxing enjoyable visit.

Spotted this little gem as we were leaving lunch at another place we didn't care for... the outside ambiance immediately drew us in and we decided the come back into town for dinner here! So glad we did! *made a reservation online and only has 8:30 available but when we arrived at 8 we were told they had plenty of availability! So I'd just call next time. The service was amazing! Wine selection was perfect and the food was beyond expectations! Both of us were so happy with our meal we scooted closer to share ;) Highly recommend! Oh! Live singer inside but could hear it outside perfectly and what a treat! Great experience and made up for our bad lunch! Lol

Food was delicious. The candied bacon was fantastic! And the truffle deviled eggs - while not my style or preference - were absolutely delicious!! Service was great. Taylor waited on us and was very attentive and super friendly! We had reservations right when they opened and it was a very laid back atmosphere. And we tried one of every dessert!! Mousse was our least favorite. Lemon cheesecake was our hands down favorite!

If you ever find yourself in Blue Ridge you must try Roe. Excellent meal. Grilled Oysters, Wedge Salad with Crab and Remoulade Sauce (my favorite dish), Chilean Sea Bass over a bed of Wild Mushrooms, Red Grouper with Purple Mashed Potatoes and asparagus.

this is the dish they delivered. the only differences being us taking the corn and a total of 4 shells.

Let me preface this tale by saying that I am not blaming our server or any of the other (non-management) staff at Roe for what is clearly and extremely dysfunctional business. This degree of neglect and disaster can only be due to absolute incompetence and a thorough and deliberate lack of care from the top down. We decided to start with the smoked fish dip ($18). I am not sure what we received. The menu listed lemon and dill, none of which we could taste. And there certainly was no fish. It tasted like devilled ham. We were hungry and managed to eat half of it even if we did not really like it. We also did not complain. Sometimes you just get a dud dish. It happens. Surely an $82 (eighty-two dollars!!!!!) dish of clams, mussles, shrimp, lobster and all accompaniments would be enough to make up for this lackluster start. Let me say again: This dish was specifically billed to feed two people. On the menu, in clear black and white, it says "clams, mussles, shrimp and lobster" with potatoes and corn. It has a market price, which we asked for. We were informed that it was $82. Expensive. Yes, very expensive. But we figured, we *trusted*, that a restaurant charging so much for a dish would justify itself. There were seven mussles (over cooked) and six clams (over cooked), an ear of corn (unseasoned and microwaved), and maybe one whole potato cut up into spears that was bizarrely and simultaneously over and under cooked. All swimming pathetically in a broth so devoid of flavor it was frankly impressive. No lobster, no shrimp. 82 dollars. My husband and I both had a mussle and clam each. When our server came for a quality check, we told him what we thought of the dish, pointing out all the flaws that I enumerated above. Our server seemed unsurprised. We went on to state that we would not be looking to continue our experience with a replacement entree and would much rather have the entree comped and simply finish our wine (frankly, the only thing we enjoyed and was reasonably priced) and leave. Our server returns, finally, just when I thought that maybe I had slipped into the twilight zone. "Did the manager come speak to you?" "No," we reply. He looks crestfallen, but, again, unsurprised. "She is going to take half of the entree for you," he announces as if he is approaching the block. Cowardly behavior from a so-called 'manager'. To not only refuse to face a table with complaints, receive feedback and, crucially, apologize, but then come to a less-than-satisfactory decision about how to "resolve" said complaints (that, again, you did not bother to confirm for yourself)... that's all bad enough. But then to have your beleaguered server deliver the news? To hide behind your service staff? Absolutely despicable. Our server certainly did not deserve that and neither did we. "If she wants to take half off, she can come tell us that herself," we tell our server. We wait. "Okay, we took off that whole entree for you!" we hear an incongruously cheery voice burst through the front door. A woman comes and drops the book on the table as if nothing at all were amiss, as if she is offering us an all-expenses paid trip to Bermuda instead of, quite literally, the bare minimum in terms of amends for this frankly shameful evening. She scoops up the sad remnants of the so-called 'clam bake', and departs. No apology, no acknowledgement that the dish she now cradled in her hands was appalling, and certainly no desire to seek feedback or validation. We wait. "Thank you, *SO MUCH!*" Miss Manager's voice rings out into the night. She's almost shouting. The fake cheeriness applied in her tone grates on my already frayed nerves. She drops the bill between us, smiles so big and brightly it can only be sarcastic. "I hope YOU ENJOY!!" she pronounces loudly and falsely before turning tail and rushing back into the restaurant. I can only imagine to pat herself real hard on the back for handling such outlandishly entitled and unreasonable guests with such grace and aplomb. I understand that Roe is not a restaurant that necessarily needs return diners to thrive. Blue Ridge is mostly filled with bachelorette parties and city slickers up for the weekend, never to be seen again. I get it. But to be this openly hostile, to be this bald-fadedly dysfunctional, to charge the prices that they do for the pitiful excuses of dishes that they serve... it's just embarrassing. Do yourself a favor and skip Roe and go straight for the good stuff: a basket of good fried food and bad karaoke at The Blue Coyote. Thank goodness for self-aware basement dive bars. What would we do without you?

Surprising gem in downtown BR! We stopped by on a Friday night and ate on the outside patio. Ordered - split between 2 - oysters (raw) and oysters (chargrilled) - truffle deviled eggs - butternut squash soup - duck confit - truffle Mac n cheese - carrot cake It's hard to have high expectations for oysters In landlocked mountain town, and I'll say they were great! Not in the way that you need to add a ton of hot sauce and horse radish but in a nice blue point & mignonette kind of way. Chargrilled oysters were delicious. There is bread service with a side of olives /olive oil Truffle deviled eggs were good. It felt a little like the truffle was added to oversell these at a bit higher value than they would earn. Soup was ok. We both agreed this was the least favorite. Not horrible, it was finished but a little much on (cumin maybe?) spiced flavor. Duck confit and truffle Mac n cheese were a great size for splitting between 2. Enough for a piece of duck and hearty portion of Mac n cheese each. The Mac n cheese was full of truffle goodness and felt worth it (vs the eggs). Very happy with this choice. I'd definitely be interested in checking this place out again & will recommend to others looking for a dinner in this price range. Service was great. Our server and the food runners were all super friendly and prompt. Thank you!

Nice little place and service was good but the Mac & Cheese came and tasted like Kraft straight out of a box and were cold. They redid them and then they tasted much better. Oysters and the charred Octopus were the best part.

If you visit Blue Ridge, Georgia @roeblueridge is an ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT. From the raw oyster bar to the truffle Mac and cheese every single thing we ate was even better than the last. Thank you for treating us @roeblueridge to an incredible meal. This truly was the best possible birthday dinner and our server Brogan made the experience even better.

Maybe the worst experience ever. Hour to get oysters. 2 hours to get food. That said, food was elite. Poor folks were short handed.

We started with the shrimp and scallop fondue, which sounded so much better than it tasted, and the toasted bread it's served with was heavily salted and not enjoyable. My friends had the ribeye and said it was mediocre. I had the shrimp biscuit and only ate a few bites. The BBQ sauce was heavily salted and not pleasant, and the cheddar cheese just seemed like it didn't belong. As a cheese lover, this is the first time in over 60 decades that I've actually removed the cheese from a dish. I took the leftovers with me since I hate wasting food and ate the biscuit with some butter and the shrimp by themselves the next day. It still wasn't very good, but at least I didn't waste it. On the plus side, the cinnamon rolls were absolute delicious and were a bargain at $8 for six! They were the highlight of our meal. We also enjoyed the creme brûlée very much. Since the restaurant is pricey and so many of the dishes were a disappointment, we all agreed that we probably won't return to give it another try. We don't want to risk spending that much money again on a not-so-great meal.

The view of Mt Yonah was stunning, the setup of the place was cool, and the ambiance of their inside/outside area was nice. My two complaints are that it got pretty cold in their glass windowed area- they had a small heater but it wasn't doing much, and they don't give free cups of water here. I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! I think there could be a couple improvements (the water issue is why I deducted a star) but if they address those few things then I'd think the place is a 5/5 :) I would come back! (And bring my water bottle with me lol)
