First, I was given pants that weren't mine and I had to explain that those weren't the same pants I dropped off. After giving them more than a month to find them, I asked if they could give me the money for the value of the pants (which I thought was a valid idea) and the best they could offer was store credit. Funny how all I wanted was either my pants back or for them to be replaced, but instead I was only offered store credit for a dry cleaner that I won't be using and I suggested you don't either.

I explained I lived further up Fresh Pond Rd. & there was a place right on the corner but they don't do these kind of clothing repairs. She said she hoped to see me again and gave me a very thoughtful and friendly thank you for coming in. I'm gonna have to bring some of my cleaning there, convenient or not. The street parking was easy and there's a dog park nearby. The customer service was friendly and helpful. I wish they have a price chart for all items but the cashier said they don't and it's based on their experience, which makes no sense. The customers should have the right to know what their items will cost ahead of time. The throw blanket was $45 and the cropped trench jacket was $24.50. Dropped off Wednesday morning and pick up is the following Tuesday afternoon. Pay cash to avoid 3.5% credit card fee. I like how the cashier was honest and told me I can throw my throw blanket in the washing machine due to its material, which I agree 100% but I wanted the furs to be fluffy so opted for dry cleaning.

The establishment is clean and conveniently located near a bunch of metered parking spots and the Target shopping complex. Antoinette is a dream come true!!…read more I had taken my wedding dress (that's right, my designer JA wedding dress) to Antoinette after reading the horrible and frightening reviews about my bridal salon's alteration department --they were also charging a $450 basic alteration fee and really, who knows what is considered "basic alterations" when it comes to a wedding gown. I brought her my gown 2 months before my wedding date (10/10/15) and she did an absolutely beautiful job! She had to take it in 2 dress sizes since I lost weight (thanks to my running obsession), cut the length, put in a bustle AND she put in boob enhancers into my dress to give me a boost --all this for the reasonable price of $375!! Mind you it was cash, but it was definitely DEFINITELY worth it. Did i mention she also fixed my mother's cathedral veil and cut it to suit the shape of my train? This woman is fabulous. I'm also going to take my gown back to her so she can clean and box it up. I highly recommend her!!!

After the high cost of her machines and cost of detergent and OXYclean, the delivery service isn't that much more expensive we have found, and it's so much more convenient and less stressful on our part. New Busy Season does an amazing job on the laundry itself. Her clothes are spotless and perfectly folded and they never seem overdried. And they make pick-up and drop-off a breeze for our mom. We love that they will call to make sure she's home before delivering so she can wait by the intercom since she's hard of hearing and might not hear the buzz otherwise. I don't know if that's standard procedure on their part to call, but the fact that they do in this case is wonderful. She calls them when she is ready for a new pick-up and they tell her what time they will be there, and I think she says it's always promptly.
